House impeachment managers argued Saturday, as throughout former President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, that Congress is exempt from the Constitution. Lead manager Rep. Raskin (D-MD) said that because this was not a criminal trial, the legal requirements for “incitement” did not apply, the right to due process did not apply, and even the cherished First Amendment did not apply. In effect, Raskin argued, Congress was exempt from following constitutional principles. CORRECTIONS*

The Constitution is there in its entirety to control and direct Congress and the rest of Government. What an Ass! Jamie Raskin is an evil human being, damn his eternal soul!

My take is that the two failed appeachments highlight the dems dishonesty for all to see. Which is a good thing. 'Trump supporters were armed and the President knew it!' Hopefully, the cops can tell us the rioters were antifa types, now that this show is over.

If Congress upheld the Constitution there would have not been a second impeachment. If the Senate upheld the Constitution they would not have taken up the impeachment trial. It even wasn't presided over the by the Constitutionally required Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. I reject Mr. Pollak's premise.

Our Constitution and Bill of Rights will be removed tossed into the fire of Marxist Communism democrat dictatorship just as soon as they get total power over America's government to eliminate the true Christians.

The irony is that Congress makes the laws and then prove that laws don't apply to them. Not one of them opted to use Obamacare once it was mandated for America. They lie and cheat and get away with it. They stole the election and got away with it. I have no respect for members of Congress at all.

All these people take oaths of office requiring them to support the Constitution and then they promptly give the Constitution the middle finger the whole time they are in office. This needs to stop. We as voters need to wake up.

The House of Representatives have abused their power and authority by their actions of impeachment.
It’s the voters that have the power of impeachment, it’s called ELECTIONS.
Voters, I ask that you use that power and permanently impeach and remove these power hungry people.
Our Republic has evolved to nothing more than a form of legal thievery, not much different from a dictatorship.

Jamie Raskin, who graduated Harvard Law and taught criminal procedure at American University, has said that Due Process does not apply because daytime soap operas staged by Democrats are not a criminal matter. Raskin knows this is a lie and still says it, because Raskin, like all Democrats, finds truth to be an inconvenient nuisance. And why wouldn't he? When you can "interpret" the Constitution to expressly protecting infanticide and sodomy, it's a small step to defining away Due Process . . . and Equal Protection . . . and Free Speech. . . .
Ever had a reduction in your VA benefits? You get 60 days Due Process. Same for social security. Same for any government benefit whatsoever, including your drivers license.

Te Constitution is what our leaders say it is. Who does it protect if Congress and the judicial branch say the Bill of Rights contains no rights, but permissives? Even China has a constitution that protects all its citizens from various denizens. The CCP is the great protector. The people there know the bounds of "free speech" and freedom of religious belief. It's why the Catholic church and others seek Beijing's approval before elevating bishops and cardinals. Our Constitution and its perversion by the political class was on display with the clearly unconstitutional "impeachment" we just witnessed. It happened, all right, and a bi-partisan majority of the Senate proclaimed the farce was Constitutional. Chief Justice Earl Warren Roberts stayed away, presumably so as not to participate in an illegal act. It's now done and over...has he offered any reason for his absenting himself? Anyone asked?

What planet is this guy on? Both impeachment "trials" were simply a partisan political roll call, with everybody watching how the swing votes would fall. There was nothing legal about the basis OR the outcome. (And as such, it gives the media a 'tabula rasa' event that they can frame however they like, to facilitate the narrative they are cultivating ... the reports are as fake as the event, itself, was.)
