U.S. President Joe Biden signed an executive order Thursday that denies state and local governments any authority to reject the drop-off of refugees into their towns and communities.
In essence, former President Donald Trump’s policy (Executive Order 13888 of September 2019) gave state and local governments a say in whether they have the capacity to provide refugees a pathway to become self-sufficient and successfully integrate into American society.
Biden’s new executive order (EO) indicated that the federal government would consult with American communities across the country about refugees’ resettlement.
The president’s “Executive Order on Rebuilding and Enhancing Programs to Resettle Refugees and Planning for the Impact of Climate Change on Migration” noted:

Of course of the papers are filled with fury at this fraud for taking away States rights. Dumbness seems to be very pervasive right now. The press doesn't realize that in Soros and obama's crackdown, they're next.

And this is just the beginning of our downfall. Seriously, biden supporters, is this what you wanted? Open borders, no accounting, no covid restrictions on the invaders? Everyone waltz in whenever. biden is right. We are in a dark time.

"Refugee resettlement costs American taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five years, according to research, and each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over the course of their lifetime. Within five years, an estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid for by taxpayers."

This can't be right. Do states and communities have nothing to say at all? Is Big Government going to run roughshod over everything?

Alinsky's rule number 4. Make the enemy follow the rules they have made. So declare your community/town/village/state a sanctuary area. Follow the laws you like and ignore the laws you don't like.

#7 is spot on. It wasn't long after 2012 that tens of thousands of illegals began flowing from the border into all-American, quiet towns across the Midwest and Southeast. Here in California in 2014, the citizens of Murrieta were forced to literally block 3 busloads of illegals brought there from Texas from entering the city. And here we go again.

So, Obama finally getting his dream come true, destruction of any decent law abiding communities he wished to target. Ironic thing is, the gated community crowd has no idea that this is coming for them as well. There were no restrictions in his original EO as I recall. Just the requirement that any community that seemed 'unbalanced' and too one sided for his own taste.

There are ways of making these people unhappy. We should take every opportunity to be unfriendly and unwelcoming to them.

Re: #12 - Texas is still one of the United States. Illegals may come through Texas to other states, like California but they are not "from Texas." Texas also has "all-American, quiet towns." My rural Texas county voted 80% for Donald Trump in 2020, the highest percentage in Texas and one of the highest in the US. Under the Obma and Trump administrations, our cities and counties struggled to manage a disproportionate share of illegals entering the US across the southern border, as` it's `easier to release them where they're found than to transport them to the Blue states whose elected leadership cheers the invasion, like California. The policy of allowing state and local governments to reject the foreign invaders, aka "refugees," being dumped on them was never a perfect solution, since even if they are dumped in a Blue state/city, nothing stops them from moving where they wish in order to make or steal money to send back to their home countries.

Re #17 - At the risk of chatting, I hear you. Those buses originated at an overwhelmed border detention center which happened to be in Texas - the Feds shipped them out from there. No slam on the Lone Star State (one of two I'm exploring for retirement, the other being Florida).

This is why we should be reaching out to our state and local representatives asking them what they plan to do to resist Washington's encroachment upon states' rights. That's what I doing. And, I'm waiting. . .

I was in my bank Friday when a group of Haitians came in wanting to open accounts. That caused the hair on the back of my neck to quiver....new blood in town? These are the LAST people we need in our state. They are lazy.

I don't think the illegals will stay long in red states, the blue states offer much more $$ in benefits. They also are more welcoming to them.

Governors and mayors should simply say No Sanctuary, just a reverse of the lefties' policies and scoff-law attitudes.
MUST call Reps and Senators, regardless of how futile you think that activity is, they need to hear from us about all of this torrent of anti-American executive orders.
