Control of the U.S. Senate was on the line, but many Georgia Republicans — at least some deterred by Donald Trump’s loss — stayed home rather than cast ballots in January’s runoffs.
Their absence at the polls helped swing Georgia and the Senate to the Democrats.
Over 752,000 Georgia voters who cast ballots in the presidential election didn’t show up again for the runoffs just two months later, according to a new analysis by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution of recently released voting records. More than half of the no-shows were white, and many lived in rural areas, constituencies that lean toward Republican candidates.

Yeah, Dominion machine "glitches" (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) converted Republican votes to Democrat votes.

Actually I believe it. As the Republi-Can't Party is about to discover when they try to do their next big push for funds, a lot of former Republicans are now conservative independents with no loyalty to the Republi-Can't Party at all. And the further they try to distance themselves from Donald Trump and his MAGA ideology, the more Republicans will be calling it a day. No, they obviously won't be voting for Demon-Rats, but they won't be voting for RINO's either.
So many Republicans watched as the party and Republi-Can't politicians stabbed President Trump in the back after November 3rd instead of fighting the massive cheating by the Demon-Rats. It doesn't motivate you to want to do much of anything.
Yes, there was tons of cheating. But between a couple of lightweight Republican candidates and the general disgust of at least half the Republicans, I believe a lot of them threw up their hands and said "why bother".

SALady. You nailed it. I’m an independent and won’t vote for a Republican. New Party or nothing.

#9, don't misunderstand me. I will still vote for solid conservative candidates, even if they run as Republicans. But my money will go directly to their campaigns. Never another cent to the Republi-Can't Party!!!!
But my days of voting for the "R" candidate, even if he/she was simply the lesser of 2 evils is gone. No more RINO's will ever get my votes!!!!!! I am a "conservative independent" now, so I have no allegiance to the Republi-Can't Party and ever will again!!!!

#6 makes a valid point. The Republican party did this to itself. No matter how bad the democrats get or how much they embrace communism, the republicans just hide under their desks had hiss like a cornered cat, but then they do nothing. Why would anyone hire a mercenary who wont fight, or a lawyer who's afraid to go to court?
If they find someone with a spine to replace McConnell, I might consider giving them a second look. But probably not.

Smart LDotters know that starting a third party will result in a permanent populist majority in the House of Representatives as well as the Senate and Presidency for the next 50 decades if not longer.

Does anyone really think that the republicans had a chance to win? The fix was in! When the clock strikes midnight on election day in a state where democrats control the vote counting, republican hopes turn into a pumpkin, and even if the republican hits midnight with a commanding 200,000 vote lead, the democrats will still discover enough ballots under the cover of night to win.

What person in their right mind would NOT vote because someone instructed them that way? stupid.
Reform the Party from within by electing true conservative/patriots. Third party candidates have always weakened the opposition against the Dems, leading to Billy Clinton winning twice, for example.
Don't vote because if you do it won't be counted anyway?
Vote third party because you're mad at the Republican hierarchy?
BOTH music to the Dems' ears.
The thing Obama has proved is, grassroots organization is critical to building a political party. Get involved with local school committees (i just heard Massachusetts schools are going to be using the BLM manual. Parents MUST get their rear ends to PTA meetings, town meetings, and the like.
You need people in every level of government. Organizations of every size and every level. This is a "system" the Founders were familiar with, and one of the most impressive to de Tocqueville.
We're all going to have to corral the anger and frustration and even despair, and turn those emotions into creative action to take back our Republic and restore liberty, step by step, day by day.
"Keep calm and carry on" and never ever ever give up!

I agree with #6. The stench from McConnell and the GOP senate on the spending bills probably had a big effect.
