The political storm ahead

Original Article

It looks to me as if we are about to enter a very dark and dangerous political storm such as our nation has not seen. The sunlight of a free exchange of ideas, of thought-provoking discussion, of attending church, of tolerating a simple different point of view appears close to being extinguished. History is being rewritten and even statues of Lincoln are being brought down. (snip) The cabal of Big Tech, the Deep State, and the progressive/socialist party is for all practical purposes ignoring and curtailing the Bill of Rights. At this time, the Thought Police appear to be winning.

As the writer says. Kristallnacht is upon us. The Holocaust yet to come. I don't think we can escape it anymore than the Jews of Europe could avoid theirs. If the Left asks for a pitchfork and a noose we must not flinch from giving it to them.

We have a communist police state. I do not consent to the Biden stolen presidency. I do not consent to diversity training, Democrat Party brainwashing, rewriting history, ignoring the constitution, rewriting the dictionary, silencing in the workplace and schools, erasure of western culture, politicization of every aspect of life. We have to speak our minds freely, ignore the illegal compulsions of the left, and go about our business. The left can live by their ruinous policy. We should not.

"Kristallnacht" is not coming. Is is currently upon us. Albeit in slower motion than the German progenitor commonly harkened back to. But a coordinated and determined Kristallnacht just the same. Next would be another analog as history repeats itself (or rhymes, suit yourself). And that would be our own American Night of the Long Knives. Like our ongoing Kristallnacht, it too might follow a slower though inexplorable course. Or turn spasmodic and trigger the second American Civil War. A Holocaust in America? Not before resolution of civil war. Then, depending on the resolution of that conflict, yes. A holocaust could be possible. Those who contend that "history can't happen here" are delusional and attempting to live in a safe space. A space every bit as imaginary as Easter Bunnies, Tooth Fairies and Auschwitz. Oh. Wait... Auschwitz wasn't imaginary. Was it?

IMHO, here is where we are. Pelosi is saying that "the enemy is within." I don't believe she is referring to Schumer or AOC. She has headed up an unconstitutional impeachment of Trump. No witnesses. No hearings in the House. Thousands of NG troops were deputized as US Marshalls, at least that's my understanding. They were purged of those deemed to be "extremists," which, no doubt, included innocent Trump supporters. This means these troops must align themselves and protect the Leftists in Congress. This means their allegiance is not to the Constitution, but to the Left and to the Biden administration and its policies. Therefore, they are an extension of the Democrat party. How does this scenario differ from what Hitler did? He purged the ranks of anyone he thought might be disloyal. Read "Medical Science Under Dictatorship" by Dr. Leo Alexander. IMHO, we are in trouble. History always repeats itself because the same trickery is employed over and over again. In a dictatorship, "any hint of faintheartedness or lack of enthusiasm for the methods of totalitarian rule is considered a threat to the entire group." (p. 41) This explains the censorship of Big Tech, the intimidation tactics of Leftists in Congress, and the purging of NG troops. The Third Reich made examples of people, and owing to gossip, the fear spread from there. The Deep State doesn't need to target 74 million Trump supporters. They will choose a swath and intimidate them. The rest will get the message loud and clear. They will be targeted by the IRS, have difficulty finding a job, become victims of title theft, have their vehicles and property vandalized, have their accounts shut down from time to time, be denied appropriate medical care, accused of needing their head examined. The list goes on and on what can be done to a person given our current computer and call phone technology.

They will do what we let them. And at some point, if they eliminate elections as a possibility, which they may already have accomplished, only counterforce will change the trajectory of events. I hope that elections still may be viable, but it is highly questionable whether there is any legal way before or after elections to challenge them. Before an election, the courts say "no harm has occurred". After the election, when you have proof of harm, they say, "you have no standing", your proof will never be heard in court. If the ballot box is gone, as it seems to be, out choices are greatly narrowed, and not in a good way.

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
Why the Left Hates Cuomo 10 replies

Conservatives are happily gloating over the fact that Andrew Cuomo is at, or rapidly approaching, his nadir. (snip) Cuomo's pandering has always been coarse, heavy-handed, and insincere. Though he is hardly a closet conservative, and probably genuinely supports these policies, it has always been obvious that Cuomo manipulated leftist identity groups so that they would have no alternative but to vote for him and make him governor-for-life. (Indeed, until only a few weeks ago, Cuomo seemed to be a shoo-in for a fourth term). Eventually, though, it became clear that the leftist identity-politics groups were getting tired of getting the pimp hand from Cuomo

Meghan Markle, it seems, isn't much of a scholar. While much of the focus has been on her barbs accusing the British royal family of abnormal interest in her baby's skin color and denying him a title and personal security protection supposedly because he is black and they are racists, what's striking to me is how unprepared she was for the royal role she sought when she married Prince Harry. And not just ignorant, but willfully ignorant, proud of her ignorance, flippantly stating she never did "any research," as if that's something to be proud of.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Though the populist tide seems to have ebbed, it will rise again, and soon. The problem that ignited populist sentiment in the first place, whether on the left or the right, remains: the country’s economic and financial system has failed much of the population and is rigged to the benefit of a government-business elite. Resistance to this inequity elevated Trump and pulled the Democratic Party to the left and will continue to roil American politics until things change. The economy’s “rigging” has developed gradually over time and often from the best of intentions.

No, conference goers didn't gather to spread conspiracy theories. No, they didn't bow down to a golden statue of Trump. And no, the stage wasn't designed to pay homage to Nazi symbology. Fascism, a form of big government, is hated among conservatives. Outsiders in the mainstream media really piled on the hate. "There will be no policy debates," claimed an MSNBC opinion columnist. That's false. The truth, it seems, was of no value in reporting on this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Among speeches from high-profile Republicans were dozens of panels and debates on a broad spectrum of policy issues — which was the purpose of the gathering.
