Mitch McConnell Blames President Trump,
Says Mob “Was Provoked By The President”

If there has been one politician on these pages we have WARNED ABOUT over the years it is Senator Mitch McConnell. The Senate Majority Leader is the most conniving, cunning and Machiavellian member of the republican party. With his positions solidifying CTH warnings for well over a decade, his actions over the past several weeks now highlight the dark background of his politics. Today, McConnell took the final stab at the people’s president as Donald Trump prepares to depart the White House. The bloom is off the ruse: (Video)The institution of the modern UniParty senate chamber requires a voter to understand the shell game.

The article is about Mitch McConnell. Historically. Before Trump. About the 60 vote (2/3 majority). Why does McConnell prefer the minority position? The answer is where you have had to actually follow Mitch McConnell closely to see how he works. When the Majority has around 52 to 55 seats, they need McConnell to give them 8 to 9 votes to overcome the three-fifths (60 vote) threshold for their legislative needs. It is in the process of trade and payment for those 8 to 9 votes where McConnell makes more money, and holds more power, than as a sitting Majority Leader. The 60 vote threshold, and McConnell’s incredible skillset in the minority, is where he shines. Each of the needed votes to achieve sixty is worth buckets of indulgence to the minority leader and those on K-Street who need the Senate to support their legislative constructs. The votes to get to sixty are worth a lot of money.

The Turtle is basically furious that Trump let his anger over the fraud in the electoral system (that cost him his victory) be his focus, when he shmpiuld have been focusing on the Republicans in Georgia, and thus lost the Senate. Much as I love Trump, I have to agree that this was egregious.

There's something more than political disagreement, or policy or $$$, it's personal, it's vindictive, it sounds like the kind of hatred that is irrational, generational, without a real wrong having been committed. Is it as "simple" as Trump not accepting the hoary Deep State Institution's choice of Biden? Is Trump just to disruptive, and all these old codgers don't like their routines disturbed? Maybe McCain still haunts them in their nightmares. impeach That sneer on McConnell's face, the way his lips twisted... that is hatred. He wanted Trump gone. And maybe he's made another "cunning and Machiavellian" bargain with Schumer to benefit themselves and "their good friend, Biden" whom they've known for such a long time. Maybe Schumer promised not to pack the courts or change the rules in the Senate. impeach Maybe they just plain like each other a bunch. They're such good buds. right impeach Both Chambers reek of political favors, of winking at perversity and amorality of all kinds, of which "filthy lucre" might be the least of it. All of us who have read and studied history know exactly what this portends. Then one day, Donald Trump came down the escalator, marched out onto the railroad tracks stood there as the speeding locomotive approached. And he stood there with the engine huffing and puffing, and, damn, the passengers and everyone connected were determined to get theirs... and grinding President Trump into the tracks, well, it had to be done. impeach beat the war drums

Were the 'conspiracy theorists' just proven right about the "fake rescue plan" for COVID? Did the 'science-deniers' just get confirmation that it was political after all? The short answer to both of these questions regarding the COVID-19 'casedemic' and the fallacy of asymptomatic PCR testing is YES and YES! We have detailed the controversy surrounding America's COVID "casedemic" and the misleading results of the PCR test and its amplification procedure in great detail over the past few months. As a reminder, "cycle thresholds" (Ct) are the level at which widely used polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test can detect a sample of the COVID-19 virus.

President Joe Biden’s first day in office may have been historic in more ways than one: he may have set a single-day record for the number of jobs killed by an American president. Biden revoked the permit for the Keystone XL pipeline, as promised. In so doing, he killed some 11,000 direct jobs that the pipeline’s construction was to have created, and an estimated 60,000 indirect jobs in secondary, related industries. Over 1,000 workers already on the job — mostly union workers — will be laid off as a result of the decision, even if it is litigated, as many expect it will be, in the courts.

It's safe to say that no president's wife has been treated more disrespectfully and disgracefully than Melania Trump, who exited the White House on Wednesday after four tumultuous years. Throughout history, several first ladies – notably, Rachel Jackson, Mary Todd Lincoln, Edith Wilson, Eleanor Roosevelt and Nancy Reagan – were attacked or criticized on personal or political grounds, sometimes viciously so by their husbands' political foes. Yet, in more recent times, the general rule became that first ladies were basically untouchable unless they were working for the administration in an official role, as was the case with Hillary Clinton when she chaired President Clinton's health care task force in 1993.

Joe Biden has been busy signing executive orders yesterday and today. During the Trump era, Democrats streamlined a process of blocking Trump’s executive orders through national injunctions. Here’s how it worked: State Attorneys General from left-leaning states would file lawsuits in friendly courts where left-leaning and judges would promptly issue injunctions that applied to everyone. This started with an injunction shutting down Trump’s ban on entry for certain countries which became known as the “Muslim ban.” Trump revised that executive order but that too was met with a nationwide injunction. When Trump tried to limit funds going to “sanctuary cities” that was met with a nationwide injunction.
