Those of you who are reading this post are the type of people who pay attention to things. That’s why you already know that 26,000 National Guard troops drawn from all over America and from Puerto Rico, have assembled in Washington, D.C., in advance of Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday. (That’s about three divisions worth of troops.) But have you given serious thought to what the troops’ presence means? (snip) I’m inclined to agree with Tucker Carlson’s brilliant Monday night opening monologue regarding the deeper meaning behind a massive D.C. lockdown

Something is going on with the troop overload. Someone is panicking. What I think is going on, they know we know about the voter fraud. They are scared to some degree. President Trump brought it to the surface and it was exposed. President Trump was winning so BIG that they (Obama election stealers) got sloppy. It was impossible to hide and it was right in our face fraud. They were exposed during this election and that makes them scared as hell. this is my take.....you be the judge.

The DC protest were stupid and should have never happened. We handed them our “heads” on a silver platter. Doesn’t make a difference what was accomplished in the last 4 years. The picture of the morons going into the Capital is the picture that will represent ALL of us in the history books. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!

Gotta agree with #4. Granted, there were a bunch of leftist agitators there to do exactly what they did. However, some MAGA people got sucked into their mayhem. That was a grave mistake. The optics have been everything the left has wished for.
It helped the enemedia completely erase the election fraud story, and turn the narrative towards "the insurrection, the insurrection, horrible Trump supporters, the insurrection!".
Can you imagine where we'd be today if MAGA supporters showed up and stood a line between the agitators and the police protecting the capital?

I miss the comments section on AT. Hearing others opinions and perspectives helps me come to my own conclusions about things. I wonder how long it will be before that's gone as well.

Maybe there's another reason for all the troupes. China/Iran. The war has already started with China a year ago with Covid. Is this a "step 2". Are there any plans for other types of conflicts? I agree with #2, It's not over. And for #4, maybe there was something more to the riots. I would believe it was allowed to happen so I'm not going to criticize MAGA people. I have faith that this IS a military operation. Wait until you hear what's going to be released over the next couple days.

Yes, the “storming” of the Capitol was a mistake. But it seems to have been more prankish (albeit criminal) in spirit than overtly violent as the media is hysterically screeching.
Speaking of the odious news media, it’s interesting how an unarmed female air force vet was shot in the throat — in cold blood — and it has completely disappeared from news coverage. Need I speculate how this would have played out if the Air Jordans were on the other foot?

Unlike inn the states, where the governor is the Command in Chief of the National Guard, Trump is the Commander in Chief of the DC Guard. This concentration of troops are in DC because Trump wants them there. The Democrats have nothing to do with it.
Panic? Yes, anyone who had anything to do with this stolen election should be sweating right now.

This should have been a Must Read.
FTA - "In 2020, something went badly wrong in America. It became a warped simulacrum of itself, and nothing demonstrates that more in 2021 than seeing that America’s most trusted institution – the United States military – has chosen sides."
Indeed. Thus, we have a coup in progress that will culminate in the coronation of biden the cheater tomorrow. God help us all.

I did a check of hotels in DC from today to Thursday, and there are a lot of hotels booked to capacity and quite a few that are not. Most of the hotels booked are on the cheaper side. Maybe they're full with NGs or antifa guards, but never trust communists; they are always in deception mode. I's sure they have a plan to make this farce of an inauguration seem like a big deal, so be prepared for the hype of large crowds and a great time to be had by all. Happy miserable days are here again.

Regardless of who called up the National Guard, look at how difficult it has become to have an inauguration ceremony. One might think the Guard will be needed on an ongoing basis, not just once, since the 2020 election was fraudulent. Democrtats are going to be looking over their shoulder the next four years, assuming they survive that long. The term bittersweet comes to mind. The democrats will not reign by consensus but by smoke and mirrors. It's a completely unnatural situation, totally rigged.

I read the article and I read all the comments. #13 is correct. The troops are there because their commander, the President of the USA ordered them to be there. You do know who is the President today, dont you?

Excuse me but don't blame President Trump or his supporters for the hysterical overreaction by the Dems in their response to what happened January 6. Even if that melee never occurred, they would have found some excuse to make the last days of the Trump Administration as odious as possible - just to rub Trump;s face in it - and ours, too.
The Mayor of DC could't get the NG to leave fast enough last summer after the DC riots - when Leftist protesters tried to storm the White House. Now she can't get enough NG in her beloved crap hole of a city.
And then these same people who need as many NG as possible turn right around and question their loyalty. The only real insider threat to this country has been the FBI and our intel agencies.

They are sending the message that anyone not on board with the Chinacrats is a domestic terrorist. This is all about painting us all as white supremist alt right militia coiled like a spring ready to let loose in a violent insurrection. Of course they are leveraging 1/6/21 which conveniently fueled their argument. But remember, the argument is not new, they have been attaching the .01% outlier behavior to the rest of us from the OKC bombing to the capitol. Remember what Janet Napolitano said about constitutional conservatives particularly veterans?
I'm done believing that they wait for a crisis to leverage. They don't wait they manufacture them. Any major mass shootings lately? Why did that go from one a month to nothing if a systemic rot was at the heart opposed to deliberate planned tactical decisions?

What a cheesy way for an unpopular man to draw a crowd. Without the Guard, there’d be no one there but a few Dem sycophants, hoping Joe notices that they showed up and maybe gives them a job (winky, winky)...

Re #13, about the authority to activate the DC Guard:
The D.C National Guard was formed in 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson to defend the newly created District of Columbia. As such, the Commanding General of the D.C. National Guard is subordinate solely to the President of the United States. This authority to activate the D.C. National Guard has been delegated, by the President, to the Secretary of Defense and further delegated to the Secretary of the Army. The D.C. National Guard is the only National Guard unit, out of all of the 54 states and territories, which reports only to the President.

Let us set the record straight. If the people who voted for President Trump want to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, a measly twenty-five thousand troops or even one hundred thousand won't turn the tide.

Congress demands 26k troops to 'protect' them when they were never in any real danger. its the action of a criminal that is nervous they have been caught. They are acting guilty folks. They know they stole the election, and are afraid others will hold them accountable.

I view it as this, leave all the barricades, barded wire, cement pilons, loyal palace guards in place. This is not to keep us out but to keep the thieving fraud Biden and his politicians in. They all better stay in Washington and not roam off their reservation. I don't believe democrat and some RINOs want to visit red states right now they're not welcome and they know it. I'm waiting to see what citizen Trump the real elected President does. A couple of rallies in the middle of a red state would be great. The government created from a stolen election wouldn't dare drift into the 'netherlands' of darkness that are not safe for them.
The left is scared and they know this is a farce but can they hold on to it? There will be no unity it's just us and them.
