Did you know that 1300 people—including 800 kids—had their lives irreparably destroyed after a shot of the rushed-to-market Swine Flu vaccine left them with incurable narcolepsy? [Tweet] Probably not, I suppose, since our media has gone into full-time shilling for the vastly more rushed-to-market product Pfizer’s now peddling as a COVID-19 prophylactic. Say what you will about that disastrous Swine Flu vax, however. Unlike the mRNA technology that Pfizer’s currently pushing on a mostly unsuspecting world, at least it really meets the definition of a vaccine. The CDC defines a vaccine as “a product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease.”

Comments:

My parents are elderly and my mother is also frail and never leaves the house. No one other than those who live here come in without masks on, including my siblings and their children. I absolutely do NOT want my mother to get this shot, since I don't believe her system can handle it. With her severe COPD, she would not survive a battle with Kung Flu. Not nearly enough is known about the shot and the side effects to take the risk.

This is a good example of why in our family we generally wait some time until the first wave of vaccinations is evaluated beanie we choose to take any new vaccine.

I’m thinking maybe the left’s propaganda machine has done its work discrediting anything connected to the Trump Administration - after the phony inauguration of O’Biden takes place, it will be interesting to see if the dem-media complex gets behind these vaccines 150% - sort of like the dem turn out during the election season.

But, but, the frail and elderly MUST take the vaccine! Especially them. How else can the Commiecrats so handily usher so many low-taxpaying, Medicare squandering seniors into the next world? Isn't it curious how, when PoSoros et. al. were in the New Virus Showroom---picking out options---they ordered one that threatened the old Eaters, in favor of the young, recently-escaped-abortion, decades of taxpaying years ahead? Cute, huh?

Unless people start dropping like flies, young and old, healthy and health-impaired, from being vaccinated I'm going to get my shots. 1. I believe the virus is a real killer because I believe the CCP created it in the Wuhan Lab as a weapon but it was not released in the way they intended. Way to screw up, Xinping. 2. I've stayed at home for 10 months to avoid exposure. I like my home but not as a quasi-prison. 3. I trust President Trump and the professionals he trusted who produced vaccines reported to be 95% effective. 4. Biden wants to change the name from Operation Warp Speed so if the democraps want to steal credit, that confirms the politically universal belief that the vaccines are safe and beneficial. 5. If you don't want to take the vaccine then don't. But you may have to stay home for another 12 to 18 months before we put this pandemic behind us. Just my opinion. As always, free speech is the standard on Lucianne.com.

I have many concerns about this vaccine that was rushed to market by a large pharma company. The bottom line is they have already demonstrated they can't be trusted. Do you think it's possible they would put profit ahead of the good of the people? And some think it could be something more sinister. And of course Pfizer can't be held liable or sued. And if Biden takes office, will we all need to carry papers stating we are vaccinated? And then there will probably be additional shots/ vaccines after some Fauci style bureaucrat mandates it. This is really about freedom from government oppression. Marxists always operate incrementally. You look up one day and you have lost your freedom. It's likely some employers will be requiring it just because the government says it's a good thing, and everyone will line up like sheep. Beware.

Don't forget that Buck Naked Biden wants 100 million people vaccinated in his first 100 days in office. How are they going to make it happen? What requirements and restrictions will be enacted? Will all government employees and anyone that works with the government be required to be vaccinated? Will travel have a vaccine requirement? No doubt our media will breathlessly be telling everyone must be vaccinated in the name of public safety. Will there be a vaccine police? Welcome to our new normal. Government will never let go of this. It gives them so many extra powers, and there is money to be made.

I'm going to skip the first round and see what happens to the initial guinea pigs. I do have a dear 94-year-old friend in an assisted living facility. They've been on total lockdown since March. She is still a vibrant and aware woman who has dearly missed her bi-weekly outings to the casino. She's anxious to get the shot as soon as possible. Her facility will only let people go out if they get the vaccine. In essence, travel restrictions are already part of our culture. Lord have mercy.

My wife and I are not planning to take the vaccine, having read so many things such as this article. But then we get treated like crazy loonies by those (including most of the family) who are rushing to get in line for the shots, thinking they can immediately resume a pre-Covid lifestyle. How very confusing to know what to do!

Further thoughts... If the covid vaccine has a 95% success rate, can it really be called a success? 100 million people are suppose to be vaccinated in the first 100 days. That would mean 5 million of those people will have a problem with it. The media will have a field day and blame Trump. They will talk about it for months. How many systems would be deemed a failure if they had a 5% failure rate? Reminds me of the space shuttle. If the braking system on cars had a 5% failure rate, it wouldn't be called a success. Have to imagine vaccines should be held to the same standard as anything else that is critical.

I wish that this was a conventional vaccine which puts a harmless protein fragment in to your body which your immune system will react to, which trains the immune system to detect this particular protein fragment as a foreign invader. If this protein fragment is created so it matches proteins on the surface of a virus, then the body has been trained to see the virus. That is a conventional vaccine. Teach a kid to look for big, distinctive tail fins with a horizontal top, pointed rear corner, edged in chrome, on a car, and if he see's a '59 Cadillac, he'll know it without having ever actually seen a '59 Caddy before. BUT, forcing cells to MAKE these 'protein fragment' themselves, rather than injecting the protein fragments after making them in the lab? I am not certain that I like that approach. Maybe it is OK. I wonder if there are any issues with this approach? I have sent an email to my cellular biologist research prof friend and we'll discuss it. He'll have more info on whether this is a good approach or not, that I can actually trust. Fauci, I don't trust as far as I could throw the whole CDC building.

I must admit I am still torn as to path forward. I'm definitely wait-and-see, but was leaning toward no vaccine. OTOH, I've been reading lately about the aftereffects of the disease itself.....from the significantly scarred lungs, to the fairly common long-term neurological damage, I'm beginning to come around to the mRNA vaccine path. Bottom-line, neither choice is appealing!

Any company that has gotten an immunity from lawsuits protection for their vaccine, is suspect. This means that they are off the hook (Pfizer, et al) from any financial/lawsuit consequences, just like Big Tech and Section 230. And this also means that they are not as careful about side effects of the vaccine because they can't be sued. Anyone heard about the placenta problem of child bearing age women with this vaccine? Or any other side effects?

I an 61 and quite healthy so I am not getting a vaccine for a disease that I am 99.4% likely to survive just fine. My parents both have health issues, of course, in their very advanced age — weakened immunity due to ongoing chemo and also dad has mild copd and a partial lung - so — they of course are very interested in the vaccine since the virus has derailed their otherwise active lives. I am leery, because of this article and others. I know they will take their doctors’ advice, not mine, so — I will talk to them and I will pray. No guarantees of anything for any of us.

One of the most despicable things about the Biden administration is that, even as it doubles and triples down on the COVID restrictions it wants for Americans, it’s utterly unconcerned about the diseases flooding across the border along with the illegal aliens Biden is unconstitutionally welcoming in. The president and CEO of Greyhound Lines, though, is demanding that, at the very least, its workers and other passengers get protected from the COVID so many illegal aliens bring with them. From the start of his campaign, Biden weaponized the Wuhan virus against Trump. Informed and intelligent people realized very quickly that Trump was moving with extraordinary rapidity

Biden has issued Executive Orders that ban enforcing immigration law while simultaneously inviting in a new wave of illegal immigrants. These EOs also suspend deporting illegal immigrants, even those awaiting trial for felonies and other serious crimes, and signal that all new arrivals will be eligible for social benefits such as healthcare. Cesar Chavez’s struggle in the 1970s and ‘80s can help explain the impact this will have on labor markets in general and working-class Americans in particular. Chavez understood that illegal immigration diminishes workers’ earning power.

It began with throw pillows. Pillows shouldn't matter much, but like every decision we make now, they matter more than you think. The old sofa had to go. It had lasted 25 years, by some miracle. The old sofa was U.S.-made. Only 20% of today's furniture is. It was expensive; the store owner told us we'd be able re-upholster it down the road, though that would be expensive, too. He was right on both counts. He retired. His kids run the store now. We managed to find a new sofa, also made here. A different color. So we needed throw pillows.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
