Former Vice President Joe Biden plans to issue a series of executive orders designed to eliminate much of what the Trump administration put into place within his first ten days in office. He will impose these new measures as a way to indicate a new direction for the country. However, you will be glad to know that he has no plans to govern from his basement, as far as he knows. “President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr., inheriting a collection of crises unlike any in generations, plans to open his administration with dozens of executive directives on top of expansive legislative proposals in a 10-day blitz

FTA: "Former Vice President Joe Biden plans . . ." Please. Joe Biden has NO plans beyond arising daily @10:30 AM, and planting both feet on the floor, then instructed what to wear, what to eat, where to go, what to do, what to say, where to sign, when to smile etc. etc. He's a potted plant. Keep him watered. If HE can get elected president of the most powerful nation on earth — heaven help us.

#7 -- Although your idea is tempting, we must not lower ourselves to engaging in any form of election cheating. That would have two negative effects even if nominally successful. 1) Our elected officials would be as illegitimate as Joe Biden. 2) More importantly, we would be contributing to our nation's ultimate downfall.

It's time to reign in Executive Orders. They are a way to bypass Congress, which should be forced to do its job. No President should be able to, in effect, make law. Time for an amendment to address this.

It's like when there are caravans of illegals heading to the US borders from 3,000 miles away. OH NO!! we cry - but are clueless and helpless what to do about it. We LEARNED this paralyzing stupidity from our leaders who quaked in their chambers and instead of heading off the clamoring hoards, went about preparing comfy receptions for them. Of course we cannot stave off oncoming disasters if there is no one to take charge but those who make their livings off of disaster control. To them - keeping Disaster at the forefront is the key to relevancy - not the problem to be solved.

Trump's legacy will be that he awakened the populace to the strangling hold of Big Government, Big Tech and Big Media. You can't unring that bell. I don't know what it'll look like or how we'll sort it out. But, as Steve Bannon says, "This is a wound that will not heal". I think things will get vert ugly in the coming months/years. But this time, the people are awake. No matter what happens, my faith is in God. And I pity the man who is running under his own steam.

FYI - Executive orders began in the late SEVENTEEN HUNDREDS. I don't recall any politician proposing to stop executive orders. Why? Probably because it takes off a lot of responsibility off their shoulders and eliminates a lot of tough votes that they would to explain to the "folks" back home.

It hurts to think about the future. Like most of you I have been trying to wrap my head around the reality that is upon us. It is extremely difficult to believe I have watched a coup d’etat being committed in real time. This was not an election. It is all so surreal. Surely, this cannot be happening here, but it is. What do we do now? Clearly, election fraud will be the norm and there is nothing we can do about it. We have gone from being a free people to being nothing more than pawns ruled an oppressive government. What choices do we have? Our leadership is weak and unserious. The opposition is drunk on power and talking crazy and they men to crush anyone who defies them. The very worst people in the country are making the decisions and nothing good will come of it. I honestly never thought this could happen here but it has and the vast majority of Americans will be shocked at how quickly the country will go south. We are about to learn the true meaning of oppression by a corrupt government that is lawless and feels free to enact an anti-American agenda that will forever change the way we live our lives. Regardless of who sits behind the Resolute Desk, the outcome will be the same. The globalists will strip the country of national pride, American culture, and freedom. I wish I could be more optimistic but watching every branch of government turn against this President and his supporters has been an eye opener. Who speaks for us? We are being censored, excluded, and marginalized. Many people are just going to hunker down and try and live their lives as best they can. The American spirit is still alive but democrats will try their best to demoralize us in any way they can. I wish I felt better about the future, but realistically when wicked men and women gain power nothing good comes from it. I am heartbroken by the realization that there are very few individuals in every aspect of our government who have shown any integrity these past few months from the SCOTUS to the local Boards of Election. The only positive is that the battle lines have been drawn clearly and we now have no doubt who the enemy is. Did apathy play a part? Were we so arrogant that we believed this massive corruption by every government agency could never happen here? Did we believe that evil could never defeat us? Whether Biden or Harris is the figurehead, our enemies are calling the shots. I can only imagine the heartache President Trump is feeling as he watches a victory being stolen and the worst imaginable administration destroy everything he worked so hard to achieve for the country and its people. God bless him. I cannot believe we are living this nightmare.

I've watched the change for over 20 years, starting with the "Voter IDs discriminate against minorities" claptrap. Pennsylvania actually passed a law requiring voter id, and it had a Republican Supreme Court. Then we lost the SC when one member went to jail and another was forced to resign for sending racy emails. That's all it took to lose voter id in PA. Watch now for the undefinable "systemic racism" to be a cudgel for cementing Blacks as wards of the federal government and permanent children of the Democratic party. We know all men are created equal, but watch now as, for the third time in three centuries, Democrats again subordinate the race of 14% of our fellow citizens as their means to an end.

I have a simple question: who really is "Joe Biden"? No, not the revenant they ambulate out periodically from the basement to pronounce something in front of the official looking "Office of the President-Pretend" sign. I mean the actual Politburo that has been conjuring up those pronouncements and working the animatronics to make them come out of "Joe's" mouth reasonably lifelike. Who are they? Can we see a list?

Now begins an ongoing disaster for the republic. It's hard to see any silver lining in our country's future, with a bumbling and fatuous President, a compliant Congress, a radicalized news media from top to bottom, an entrenched Big Tech Oligarchy, and a near omnipotent federal bureaucracy that has cultivated authoritative governance for years. Keep praying and trusting God (our money says, "In God we trust")...Psalm 64 is what we are praying for the Lord to SUDDENLY with shock and awe stop these evildoers. Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE with God, even at this late date! Remember the parting of the Red Sea, Acts 16 an earthquake that opened St. Paul's prison's doors, and the wedding where Jesus turned the water into wine. Now people, our Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did for others, He will do for us and for President Trump!

Those of us who are still sane today feel the same as those with any brains down in Cuba did when Fidel took over or in Venezuela when Hugo Chavez seized power. There is little to nothing that can be done now outside of an armed conflict. However, all hope is not totally lost as we can play their game of dragging our feet the way they did when Trump came in. They gave him no peace and it should be the same for them. Resist. Take an attitude and push back every chance ya get! I have cancelled Twitter, Netflix, rarely use Amazon now, and will soon stop Facebook and drop the iPhone. We even plan on moving to an area that has more like-minded people. Friends and relatives are seeing and hearing less from the guy they feel is a bigoted racist --- so why talk with those who feel that way about you? When they cry for help, they will not get any and instead I'll ask them who they voted for and tell them to go complain to them. Yes it can take years and sometimes an upheaval but things will change for them as well. The world of hurt will not be just for us and maybe, enough of them will wake up before it's too late. And if not? Then, we, too will fall as others before us have. Sad.

Thinking about Replies 10 and 36….who, indeed, is programming the animatrons Joe Biden and Kamala Harris? And let’s find out something I’ve asked before on this forum - who are these ‘staffers’ who obviously are running things because most of these dummies actually holding the office aren’t coming up with these citizen-crushing, country-destroying plans on their own. Journalists, too, are nothing but political operatives - let’s pull the curtain back on them, too, and see who they are when they’re at home, and how they like their lives placed under the microscope. There are legal ways to do that, I imagine. And as long as we’re sorting the staffers and journos out, let’s find out how much money they make - that might be interesting. We don’t need (or want) to cheat or do anything illegal, but aren’t there ways to keep the dems from cheating? If they have people to hack or program voting machines, then we ought to be able to hack them back again, no? Move 100K votes to Joe Biden…no, you don’t…back to Trump. And the reports of Republican poll watchers not being allowed to ‘watch’ - why did we only hear about it afterward? If it’s the law that they can watch why didn’t they raise holy hell right then and there and make everyone aware of what was going on? Were there not plans in place in case they were denied watching? Why not? Do the police only protect democrats and not Republicans? Create lists and keep them current - Sorosisbehindit made a great list of heroes and traitors on our side. We need to keep lists like this maintained and available of both our side and their side. Lists of hypocricies (probably the longest list of all), lists of outrages (second longest and heavily populated by AOC spewings), and keep the evidence safe and available. The White House has a list of all the President’s accomplishments in just four years in office - need to keep track of that and make notes when something is reversed. Brainstorm! Think of legal ways to get the word out about the staffers, media people, and skeezy politicians. Use the techniques of the media whores against them the same way they do to others. When conservative platforms are online, join and make them strong. Learn and make known how to get someone out of office - learn the details for every type of office that has a procedure for recall. Make it known - this is something everyone should know about - and the politicians should know that we know. Maybe I’m naive - and I know I’m not particularly knowledgable, but I just cannot believe there’s NOTHING we can do.

I have to finally say that I'm ashamed of America right now. They get an outsider for a President and the so called self proclaimed ruling party couldn't accept him or any of the positive things President Trump has done for the country. I'm ashamed that I voted for George W Bush - I really didn't know he thought he was part of the self proclaimed ruling party. He couldn't see the good President Trump has done and support him. As far as I'm concerned, the only President who had the best for the country in the forefront has been President Trump (President Regan was before I started to follow politics). Its goes to say that voting for Romney for a complete waste of a vote.

Report: Google and Facebook Made a 'Secret

The New York Times recently outlined the inner workings of a secret deal between Facebook and Google that allowed the companies to jointly dominate the online advertising market. In an article titled “Behind a Secret Deal Between Google and Facebook,” the New York Times outlines a secret deal between Facebook and Google related to the online advertising market that the two companies largely dominate. Facebook revealed in 2017 that it was testing a new way of selling ads online that could threaten Google’s control of the online advertising market, but just two years later Facebook announced that it would be joining an alliance of companies backing a similar effort by Google

According to the NY Times, Biden’s incoming economic team has one goal: Get back to the booming pre-Covid economy of the Trump administration: As President-elect Joseph R. Biden, Jr. prepares to take office this week, his administration and the Federal Reserve are pointed toward a singular economic goal: Get the job market back to where it was before the pandemic hit. The humming labor backdrop that existed 11 months ago — with 3.5 percent unemployment, stable or rising work force participation and steadily climbing wages — turned out to be a recipe for lifting all boats, creating economic opportunities for long-disenfranchised groups and lowering poverty rates.

Yesterday, Karen wrote about the latest migrant caravan which had come from Honduras and broken through the border with Guatemala. Here’s one of the showdowns between the caravan and Guatemalan police: [twitter link] Monday, the Associated Press reported there was a standoff. A steep mountain and tall wall flanking the rural highway have allowed Guatemalan authorities to bottle up the group that had numbered about 2,000 when it pushed into Guatemala Friday night. Their ranks have reduced through attrition as some migrants have agreed to be bused back to the Honduran border. A Guatemalan official repeated that offer Monday morning, telling the migrants they had buses at the ready

Every now and then, Bill Maher shocks his fellow liberals with some common sense. Friday night was one of those days as the HBO host closed Real Time with a commentary lecturing them to not equate the violent thugs who stormed the Capitol with 74 million Americans who may have voted for Donald Trump because of policy. He also eviscerated left-wing California as a red tape-filled bureaucratic mess. Maher, who has been very tough on Islamic extremism, got this zing in at the left: “As bad as last week was... let's not confuse 5,000 people with 74 million. Yes, even supporting the insurrection in spirit is

It’s all going south. A former head of New York state Democratic Party has already received his first dose of the coronavirus vaccine — no thanks to Gov. Andrew Cuomo. John Sullivan, who was co-chairman of the state party in the 1990s, was among the New York snowbirds to become eligible for the shot in Florida before Cuomo opened vaccination sites to senior citizens in the Empire State. “I got the vaccine down here. I probably wouldn’t have gotten it by now in New York,” Sullivan, 73, told The Post on Sunday. At age 15, I joined the biggest white-nationalist party in the UK, the British National Party. In the last decade, the BNP became hugely popular in blue-collar areas, feeding off workers’ misery following the 2008 crash and mainstream politicians’ refusal to discuss mass migration amid an economic crisis. I have since left the BNP and rededicated myself to countering its poison. And there is a lesson in my radicalization for the incoming Biden administration and US elites. It began with unaddressed grievances — and, as many with a similar experience will tell you, the racism and radicalism came later. My comrades’ turn to the BNP

The abrupt switch from media attack dogs to stenographers for power was always going to be jarring. But get ready for “democracy dying in darkness” giving way to “everything is swell.” CBS This Morning on Monday cheered on Kamala Harris by talking to the Vice President-elect's former sorority sisters. The full-on puff piece featured Gayle King insisting that “so many” are so proud of the Democrat. Of course, no mention was made of just how liberal Harris is. Instead, reporter Michelle Miller asked questions like this: “How are you going to support your line sister as she becomes vice president?”

South Dakota GOP Governor Kristi Noem’s rejection of instituting draconian “lockdowns” because of the coronavirus seems to be bearing fruit. U.S. defense officials say they are worried about an insider attack or other threat from service members involved in securing President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, prompting the FBI to vet all of the 25,000 National Guard troops coming into Washington for the event. The massive undertaking reflects the extraordinary security concerns that have gripped Washington following the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump rioters. And it underscores fears that some of the very people assigned to protect the city over the next several days could present a threat to the incoming president and other VIPs in attendance.

As the Biden administration looks to make its mark on healthcare, one policy it is likely to overturn is President Trump’s 2018 executive order loosening rules for short-term health insurance policies, an effort to provide alternatives to Obamacare plans that Democrats described as sabotage. While such policies account for a small part of the health insurance market, it is likely indicative of healthcare policy battles to come during the Biden administration, pitting liberal groups who want to defend and build upon Obamacare against conservative groups who want more free-market alternatives. Also known as short-term, limited-duration insurance

Loews Hotels has cancelled a fundraiser that Sen. Josh Hawley was scheduled to hold at the chain’s Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando. The reason? Hawley’s bid to contest the electoral college’s count. Loews stated: We are horrified and opposed to the events at the Capitol and all who supported and incited the actions. In light of those events and for the safety of our guests and team members, we have informed the host of the Feb. fundraiser that it will no longer be held at Loews Hotels. Hawley supported a challenge to certain electors, a challenge similar to ones Democrats have made in the past.

The Trump administration’s anti-immigration, anti-civil rights stance has made it easy to classify the president’s loyalists as a homogenous mob of white nationalists. But take a look at the FBI’s posters showing people wanted in the insurrectionist assault on the U.S. Capitol: Among the many White faces are a few that are clearly Latino or African American. Such diversity highlights the fact that President Trump’s share of the Latino vote in November actually rose over 2016, notwithstanding years of incendiary rhetoric targeting Mexicans and other Latino communities.  CORRECTION*
