We received a lengthy letter from Dominion's defamation lawyers explaining why they believe that their client has been the victim of defamatory statements. Having considered the full import of the letter, we have agreed to their request that we publish the following statement: American Thinker and contributors Andrea Widburg, R.D. Wedge, Brian Tomlinson, and Peggy Ryan have published pieces on that falsely accuse US Dominion Inc., Dominion Voting Systems, Inc., and Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (collectively “Dominion”) of conspiring to steal the November 2020 election from Donald Trump.

Threatened with God only knows what, Lifson and those authors folded and said that what they had written was untrue.

None of the evidence has been debunked.... None of the evidence has been tested in court... Only the Dominion machines in Antrim Co, MI have been allowed to be forensically tested, and they were found to be fraudulent. Question: who is paying Dominion's addition to Dominion, that is....

Just shows the power of deep pockets and the lawyers they can hire. No doubt they threatened to break American Thinker. It costs a whole lot of money to defend yourself against a major lawsuit and they would likely lose even if they won in court because of the huge cost. What is sometimes referred to as a pyrrhic victory. Another front in the war on conservative thought.

Election by Algorithm may not have been our past, but it is our present, and most certainly will be our future. So let's not bother with the costly hoopla of elections in which the people will not elect their leaders. We can make Election Day a national holiday, we can have the media wait breathlessly before The Turing Palace as "The Algorithm" spits out who is anointed President, Senator, Congressman, ..Governor,...... A great national utterly rigged lottery, spinning Fortuna's dictates. We can eat cake, they can drink champagne, and All's Well with The World.

I'm speechless!!! American Thinker was one of the most reliable and true writing venues that I could read and feel good about what I read. This whole society is turning to mayhem and all because we wanted a President who would look out for us and neuter and disable our enemies. I honestly think there are MAGA people who will not take this lying down, who have gotten used to having a President who cared about us and did not consider the rest of the world before his own people. Where the hell are we headed? is all I can think and slowly but surely the infestation of the communist element will grow bigger and bigger. I am very, very afraid for our President because they will not stop until he totally destroyed and I mean TOTALLY.

I once believed that having the truth on your side was sufficient in facing a malicious lawsuit. Several hundreds of thousands of dollars later, I learned differently. Many judges are risk-averse cowards, and lawyers have no financial incentive to resolve disputes fairly and quickly. I understand the reason for this obviously forced letter. They couldn’t afford the fight; many of us (really, most of us) can’t, no matter how principled we are. A recent example: Lt. General Flynn.

It was impossible to run competent investigations on such complicated issues, as mail-in ballots, and software and electronic voting machine driven fraud in six weeks time. Maybe the State legislatures where election fraud was suspected are better situated to do such investigations will swing into action and come up with evidence of such fraud in six months or a year.

I would not be too critical of the AS. They had a gun to their head. Remember the crew of the USS Pueblo, who were captured by the NORKS in the 1970's and who posed for a picture. Each crew member had put the hands on knees, with both hands giving the finger. Hilarious. They were of course beaten afterwards, but everyone knew that it was forced picture, and the brutality of the NORKS was the real story.

All you folks dumping on Lifson an American Thinker are doing just what the left wants you to do. AT capitulated to a malicious threat of legal action that would effectively silence their voices even if they prevailed in court. I don't know what AT's daily traffic is, but I doubt that it exceeds a couple of hundred thousand. Pretty small potatoes to encourage Dominion to hire high powered defamation lawyers to shut them up. But not surprising in the larger scheme of things which is to shut down all conservative thought and discussion and dissent. And on that subject, here's a point to ponder. When the Biden Administration or the Nancy Pelosi House comes after outfits such as or the Freepers and asks for (demands) identifying information, such as subscribers email addresses, and employ the full force and fury of the United States government, what will the response be? I suspect that rather than mount an expensive legal contest it will be a rather meek, but defiant, "OK". My subscribed email is linked to a domain that I own and a Whois search reveals my name and particulars in about 3 seconds. See how morally outraged you are when it's your turn in the censors' crosshairs.

This was one of his 37 executive orders in six days.(Tweet) This is not a joke.CBS reported: The Biden executive order is also expected to direct federal agencies like the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to examine whether there are xenophobic references like “China virus” in any existing policies, directives or government websites

Cancel culture has arrived in Congress in a big way. Well, to be fair, it’s been there for a while now, but Florida Democratic congresswoman Stephanie Murphy is really upping her game in this regard. New proposed legislation from Murphy would prevent anyone who participated in the January protests and riot on Capitol Hill from being eligible for a security clearance. Further, she would impose a similar ban on anyone who participated in any “stop the steal” rally or anyone who knowingly engaged with Q-anon. Given that a security clearance check is required for virtually

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), president pro tempore of the Senate, will preside over next month’s impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, Leahy said on Jan. 25. Leahy is 80. Both parties traditionally choose their eldest member to serve in the pro tempore role, which is essentially a backup for the president of the Senate, whenever they gain a majority in the body. “The president pro tempore has historically presided over Senate impeachment trials of non-presidents,” Leahy said in a statement.

President Joe Biden told Americans on Tuesday that they had “never fully lived up to the founding principles of this nation.” Biden was speaking at the White House on the occasion of signing four executive orders that, he claimed, would address racial “equity.”With Vice President Kamala Harris — the country’s first African and Asian American woman in that role — looking on, Biden said: We have never fully lived up to the founding principles of this nation, to state the obvious, that all people are created equal and have a right to be treated equally throughout their lives. And it’s time to act now, not only because it’s the right thing

Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont, the lawmaker tapped to preside over President Trump's impeachment trial, has been hospitalized, his spokesman said. The 80-year-old Senate president pro tempore was taken to a local hospital and is under observation after he complained that he did not feel well after overseeing the swearing-in of senators as jurors in the trial earlier Tuesday. "This evening, Senator Leahy was in his Capitol office and was not feeling well," Leahy spokesman David Carle said in a statement. "He was examined in the Capitol by the Attending Physician. Out of an abundance of caution, the Attending

Nearly every day of former President Donald Trump’s term, someone — either from the opposition party or from the Democrat-aligned media — called him some version of authoritarian. That was especially the case whenever Trump issued an executive order, many if not most of which were summarily challenged by left-wing groups in court, often successfully. It never made any sense to call a president whose executive orders were overturned and who eventually got kicked off of all social media a tyrant and a dictator since not too many tyrants and dictators throughout the history of Humankind had their orders contradicted

On Monday, the Washington Post published an op-ed by columnist Brian Klaas whereby he expresses the near futility of attempting to “deprogram” millions of Trump supporters, claiming that many have “gone far enough down the rabbit hole of conspiratorial thinking.” The essay, titled “‘Why is it so hard to deprogram Trumpian conspiracy theorists?” depicts millions of Trump supporters as so devoted to “dangerous lunacy” that nearly all hope is lost of bringing them “back to reality.”
