A few years back my wife and I flew to Georgia where she was keynoting a panel discussion on feminism at Kennesaw State University. (snip) we need to be realistic. We are not doomsayers to acknowledge that civilizations fall of necessity, disappear or are subsumed into new syncretic entities, and that ours is no different. The conclusion is foregone, but not yet. In Michael Walsh’s terms from his new book Last Stands, manly virtue fights to the foreordained end. The issue is this: We cannot deter, but we can defer. What we are really doing, whether we know it or not, is buying time.

Great nations decline only if those who want to keep them great are not inclined to be at least as violent as those who would destroy them.

The end of the American republic is certainly near but that isn't the end of the world. However, it will be the end of the left's world whether they know it or not. President Kennedy in his inaugural address said "in the past, those who foolishly sought power by riding the back of the tiger ended up inside." Whether they want to or not, journalists will be told what to write, actors will be told what parts they must play, pro-choicers who themselves want children will be forced to have abortions, and so forth. Like Paul told the Galatians, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

Until the final Jewish Temple is built I don't see the Anti-Christ coming to power. Is God's Spirit being lifted from America...I believe it is! We deserve everything that is about to destroy the country! If you voted for any Democrat or RINO you should feel really proud of yourselves right now!

This article is not about 19th century Protestant beliefs concerning the books of Revelations and Daniel and the other prophecies in the Bible (created by John Nelson Darby and Cyrus Scofield, of the Scofield Bible). This article does however have some excellent quotes from some very thoughtful scholars concerning the fall of the West. And while the US may indeed come to an end, so did Egypt, Israel, Greece, Persia, Carthage, Rome, Byzantium, the Empires of Europe, China, and Russia. Some we're good to start and turned to evil. Some were conquered. Many turned decedent and became weak. I'm sure many people knew it was the end of their world. Maybe this is the end of ours.

#7, interesting response and the kind I have thought about over time. If you live in the West and are of Western stock I don’t think there is any way you can truly be ready for what could be coming. Armaments? Nothing you have can protect you against starvation. Food? If you are supplied it wouldn’t be long before the desperate converge to take it. Willingness to become a chameleon and become like the enemy? You will be distrusted and abhorred in life and eternally damned. If you mean your heart and soul are right with God then saying that decline is good because you are ready to die is facile. You will be tested beyond anything you can imagine.

The end times for personal freedom are already here. Shut up, stay home, wear your mask, stand 6 feet apart, don't criticize the swamp, don't assemble with others, don't go to church, eliminate the police, no freedom of speech, send your children to government indoctrination schools, quarantine if you have had contact with whom the government deems sick, confiscate private savings by destroying the value of money, etc. Coming soon, turn in your guns so they can be destroyed.

Two executives involved in the early call of Arizona for Joe Biden on Election Night, angering many conservatives, are no longer employed at the cable network whose ratings took a subsequent nosedive. Both have been lightning rods for conservatives since the election. The Associated Press reports: Bill Sammon, senior vice president and managing editor at Fox’s Washington bureau, announced his retirement to staff members on Monday. On Tuesday, as part of a restructuring of Fox’s digital operations, politics editor Chris Stirewalt was let go. Fox’s decision to call Arizona for Biden took the network’s anchors by surprise and infuriated the White House, which believed the determination was premature.

Somebody needs to explain to me why conservatives are so defeatist. It never fails. A setback occurs, and rather than rolling their sleeves and getting to work, they collapse into bawling, whining puddles. They’re like a glass-jawed boxer who take a hit and goes down immediately. But instead of hauling themselves back to their feet and slugging away, they just lie there, sobbing, “It’s over… there’s no point… wave goodbye to Lady Liberty for me…” There’s nothing new about this. During the Obama epoch it was eight years of, “Obama is eight feet tall. Obama can walk through walls. He can see you and you can’t see him…”

That’s why you already know that 26,000 National Guard troops drawn from all over America and from Puerto Rico, have assembled in Washington, D.C., in advance of Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday. (That’s about three divisions worth of troops.) But have you given serious thought to what the troops’ presence means? Fascists are back in a very big way, and they are not who legacy media say they are. They are not who big tech says they are. They are not who the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their minions say they are. The CCP itself is fascist, not communist, and has been fascist since Deng Xiaoping. The distinction is important, and without that distinction, it is vastly more difficult to deal with the most dangerous threats to freedom here and overseas. Fascism is far more resilient than communism. It is the wedding of markets and totalitarian governance, an attractive prospect for many oligarchs

The last time I checked, this was the USA. A free country. A country where, when mobs of thugs were destroying Minneapolis, Portland, Kenosha, and other cities, the media reacted in horror at the suggestion that a few National Guard troops might help return calm for the residents trying to live peacefully in their homes, do business as much as possible in the circumstances, and stay afloat during a pandemic. As Portland’s Mayor Ted Wheeler said when offered federal troops to quell the violence, “This is not the America we want.” The very idea is repugnant! Now, I am seeing pictures of Washington DC preparing to inaugurate Biden

Pick your favorite sports analogy. President Trump is at bat, bottom of the ninth inning, two outs, full count, bases loaded, down by three runs. Or he is at the poker table, across from the entire Washington DC ruling class, all the chips now on the table. Is he holding a royal flush or a pair of threes? We will know in a few days how the game ends, as either the “great awakening” or the “great reset”. It’s a binary choice with one winner and one loser, no ties or extra innings. This will be one of the most consequential weeks in human history.
Pelosi’s Third Impeachment Folly 26 replies

Does the President have a right to free speech? Josh Blackman, a constitutional law professor writing on The Volokh Conspiracy, suggests he certainly does and that his speech on January 6 is a weak reed (as was Nancy Pelosi’s past impeachment folly) on which to gain a conviction in the Senate. (Remember an impeachment vote in the House is basically an indictment with no effect unless the Senate finds guilt after a trial.) Looking at the most analogous case, the impeachment of President Andrew Jackson, he finds plenty of reason for senators to vote against it.

At his press conference on July 8, Joe Biden offered a rather bizarre interpretation of history, in which he likened Ted Cruz and his challenge to some electoral votes to Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels and the “Big Lie.” Biden illustrated his point by referring to the Allied bombing of Dresden in February 1945 in which, he said, “250 or 2,500 people” were killed.
