Despite the national focus on the political battles in D.C., the state election results provide very positive news for Republicans. Republicans increased their trifectas (governor and legislature control) to 23 states (24 with Alaska if they ever finish counting). There are twelve states with divided control, and seven of those have Republican majorities in the legislature. Despite the Democrat huge advantage in money and media support, Republicans increased their number in Congress and in statehouses. This gives the Republicans a deep bench of intelligent, honest, and capable elected representatives at the state and local level.
Unfortunately "honest and intelligent" is not a resume enhancer in DC.

So why can't they get voting under control and give us honest, fair elections? And why can't they pass laws to severely penalize or restrict Big Tech if they unfairly restrict the free speech rights of the citizens in those states? If Poland and Australia can protect free speech why can't America's states?

The dirty dems are too good at cheating. Look what they did, all without any consequences at all. They'll even be better at it the next time.

The Republican Party has lost me forever unless people start going to jail for voter fraud. I have heard the endless threats of endless investigations all my life with no Democrats going to jail. If the State Legislatures don't stand up and dismantle the illegal voting in their states I am done with the Republican Party.
Maybe Trump will start a new party? He could call it the "Impeached Party" I would join!

Republican advantages? Perhaps, but we are faced with a huge disadvantage called the GOP.

Two concepts to study if you are not already familiar with them:
1. China’s Social Credit System (already starting here)
2. Gleichschaltung
They mean that there will be no Republican Party and no role for you.

Yeah, that didn't help us this Election. It seems even when we have tor Republican Legislators, Governor and Sec. of State, we still can't stop the Fraud in that State! Apparently, Money talks! So even the threat of voting them out next time around doesn't work nearly as good as a Big Check!

We, Republicans, have to primary any Republican who is weak kneed, we need new blood. We need NEW Conservatives who have that fire in their belly to make things right. The Republican party is full of elected officials who were once fire breathing Conservatives, but after years of working with dim-0KKKrats, have turned into them. We MUST term limit our own people, while retaining the collected knowledge of how politics is done in washington.
Say what you will and for myself, it is a lot about peelosi, but she knows how to get her dirty work done. She has been there long enough to know every trick.

What use is the increase in governorship and state legislatures? What has GOP control of the both or one accomplished in PA,GA, AZ, MI in the recent elections?

Really now?
In Pennsylvania, we had a Republican led house, that SHOULD HAVE ACTED to prevent the Steal, here. The Governor and his creatures, should have been shut down before the election. Instead, they were in a COVID inspired hibernation.
If its more of those, no thank you!!

It's a little hard to take solace in republican advantages. First, the set of those calling themselves republicans contains uniparty swamp rats so I'm not sure counting their numbers as an advantage gives me that warm feeling other than pissing myself. Then there's the wet noodles who don't have the spheroids to even matter. Then we are down to a handful of Patriots. Give me that count and then tell me how giddy I should feel, I'll probably still prefer pissing myself.
My only hope is that they overplayed their hand and that forces yet to be seen in large numbers are rising. And I'm not talking about storming the state capitol.

The worst campaign theme for 2020 was, "if blah, blah, blah, republicans will never win another election".

I don’t care about the Commies or the Puke parties!
It seems to me that if a new Trump party is established, it would have the advantage of voter numbers with 80 million. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that more voters than the other 2 could garner?

Oooh, oooh...and what did the REPUBLICAN held legislatures in those six controversial states do when the chips were down after the polls closed and the votes "counted"?
What append in Georgia, with a REPUBLICAN legislature, governor and secretary of state?
We are just SOOOO LUCKY to have all these rock-ribbed, honest REPUBLICANS in office these days.

None of this matters if you can't win elections. Setting aside the fact that there may never be another free and relatively fair election, Donald Trump showed republicans how to win. Half the party said "no thanks, go away".

I don't take any heart, because the Republican Party does not use any of the advantages they have.

The numbers are not any where near as
important as is the fidelity to the rule of law
and the Liberty of the people. As we have seen
recently the so called Republicrats are just as
ignorant or in contempt of the Constitution as
are the Demonrats.

I changed my voter registration from Republican to Independent the other day.
Like many others throughout the world, our country is now a one-party country. It is not yet the Communist or Socialist Party; it is the Uniparty, and the reason there are so many Republicans voted in this past election throughout the country is because of President Trump's coattails. Unlike Biden who had no coattails, but furtive people filling out ballots throughout the land without having time to check the down-ballot boxes, the Republicans have a bench because of Trump and his policies these last four years.
I hope everyone changes their registration to Independent because whenever we needed a Republican - other than Trump and a handful of other good people, the Uniparty R's let us down. The last occasion when that happened was when Mike Pence thought more about the Uniparty than he did about the Republican voters and did not request a delay of ten days to authenticate the electoral college voters.
Actually, the Uniparty has become the Potemkin Party - just a facade with nothing behind it.

What a joke. Any Republican "advantages" disappeared with the final Demon-Rat mastery of election theft in November. And the Republi-Can'ts have nobody to blame but themselves for allowing it to happen without even putting up a fight!!!
The Demon-Rats may allow a few Republicans to win Congressional seats just to keep up the facade of "fair elections". But no Republican will ever will a major election for president or where they may get a majority of House or Senate seats. The Demon-Rats mastered "finding" the exact number of votes they need to win any election from now on!!!
Add all of us that see the GOP as totally dead to us, and, no, the Republi-Can't Party will never had an "advantage" again!!!
