House impeaches Trump a second
time a week after Capitol riots

President Trump was impeached a second time by the US House of Representatives on Wednesday in a largely party-line vote that saw a handful of Republicans join Democrats to blame the outgoing commander-in-chief for sparking last week’s Capitol siege. The measure reached 217 “yea” votes shortly after 4:20 p.m. to make Trump the only president to be impeached twice. The final vote was 232-197, with 10 Republicans crossing party lines and four Republicans not voting when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) announced around 4:35 p.m. No members of the GOP voted in 2019 to impeach Trump the first time.

House GOP needs to draw up articles of impeachment for Biden, to be presented in January 2022 once the GOP-controlled House is in session. High crimes and misdemeanors will be filled in at that time based on the previous week's news stories.

Can you say Kangaroo Court trial? No discussion of the "charges", no opportunity to exercise the opportunity of the charged to present evidence in his/her own defense as promised in the constitution. This sets the precedent for any future congress to impeach a president based on any minor disagreement. "Treason" is now redefined. The bar for "High crimes and misdemeanors" has been lowered to the ground. Buckle up, patriots--this is going to be a rough ride for the next two years.

These Republicans who owe their win to Trump alone, do realize that Biden didn't really get 80 million votes? Do they realize that they are playing up to computer generated, xeroxed, and millions of other ballots cast by, fake, dead and illegal ballot "harvesters." If they think that the 75 million sane, legal and loyal Trump voters are going to somehow have their eyes opened and will embrace this ridiculous administration, while continuing to support wimpy Republicans, they are as delusional as Nancy Pelosi.

Impeachment is the charge...not a conviction. No trial is upcoming. I can understand Beutler (WA), who lost 6% from '18 numbers in her '20 election as did Katko (NY) and Kinzinger (IL). They calculate at their own risk. Valadao (CA) lost in '18 by a thin few votes, and won in '20 by another whisker. Meijer (MI) succeeded Amash, with 53% of the vote in that district. These others...Upton (MI), Newhouse (WA), Gonzalez (OH), Rice (SC) are all relatively safe seats. Cheney should get booted from her caucus and committee leadership positions. Her only excuse is she is a Bushie.

Release WITHOUT redactions all documents pertaining to the deep state and the Russian Hoax, the Impeachment Hoax, and the Clinton and Biden crime families. But it won't happen. After their treasonous votes, they will retain their power and wealth, and get lots of help being re-elected by the Republi-Can't Party the next time they run!!! This is exactly why the Republi-Can't Party is dead to me. I am now an independent. I will never vote for any Demon-Rat!!!! I will continue to vote for solid conservative candidates even if they run as Republicans. But I will support them and donate directly to their campaigns. It is these rabid leftist pols who are shamed by such unAmerican actions, NOT this President who has accomplished so much good for the USA and beyond for peace and who did not encourage the rioters in any way. We were watching TV that day as everything occurred and observed the usual anarchist antifa tactics in the attack on the Capitol, which began BEFORE those attending the rally where the President was speaking even had time to March on over to the Capitol building. The media is repeating their bogus line about what actually happened, just as they covered for the anarchist antifa mobs throughout last years violent city riots by calling them, ''peaceful,'' even as we watched the truth on TV.

Editors, publishing agents and authors have signed-up to a letter in the hundreds, demanding the industry deny Donald Trump the publication of any post-presidential memoir. The letter, titled "No Book Deals for Traitors,” was signed by more than 250 editors, authors and publishing agents last week.(Snip) Among the letter’s signatories are staffers from the five biggest publishing houses, Penguin Random House, Hachette Book Group, HarperCollins, Simon & Schuster, and Macmillan. Mr Lyga told the Los Angeles Times in an email that publishers should “act to the dictates of their conscience and to the extent they are able to effect change,”

U.S. President-elect Joe Biden is planning to cancel the permit for the $9 billion Keystone XL pipeline project as one of his first acts in office, and perhaps as soon as his first day, according to a source familiar with his thinking. President Donald Trump had made building the pipeline a central promise of his presidential campaign. Biden, who will be inaugurated on Wednesday, was vice president in the Obama administration when it rejected the project as contrary to its efforts to combat climate change.(Snip)The project, which would move oil from the province of Alberta to Nebraska, had been slowed by legal issues

Senator Rand Paul (R., Ky.) warned Friday that one third of Republican voters could leave the party if GOP senators vote in impeachment proceedings to convict President Trump. Paul made the comments in an interview on Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle. The senator’s remarks come amid an increasing divide between congressional Republicans who oppose impeaching the president, and a smaller number who support the measure following the riots at the Capitol on January 6. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) is reportedly hopeful that Republicans can use impeachment to purge Trump from the GOP...

Various left-wing writers (some of them nominally Republican) have been salivating over the prospects of a GOP civil war. Nothing would make them happier than to see Republicans tearing each other apart in a fight over President Trump and the future of the GOP. However, this will not happen. It is a sign of how self-delusional the anti-Trump forces are that they could look at the House of Representatives vote on impeaching President Trump (for the second time) and convince themselves this is the harbinger of a Republican civil war. The House voted 232-197 Wednesday to impeach the president. Every

During former President Bill Clinton’s testimony before a grand jury about his Oval Office shenanigans with 22-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky, the Philanderer in Chief shrewdly said, in response to a question, “It depends upon what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.” In Apple CEO Tim Cook’s case, it depends on what his meaning of “that” is. More precisely, in the case of Apple’s de-platforming of conservative-leaning social media site Parler, it matters a hell of a lot what Cook’s meaning of “that” is, when he says of Parler: “We don’t consider that free speech.”

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) won’t be up for re-election until 2024, but she has seemingly already filed paperwork indicating she might run again. The 87-year-old U.S. Democrat from California filed the initial re-election paperwork with the Federal Election Commission last week, L.A. Magazine reported. A Feinstein rep reached out to L.A. Magazine to clarify what the FEC filings allegedly mean. “To be clear, Senator Feinstein has had a campaign committee since she took office, as all senators must. In order to keep this account active, the senator has to maintain filings with the FEC. Yesterday’s filings merely reflected an updated address,”

This past week, Texas State Historical Association chief historian Walter Buenger made two controversial assertions regarding the Alamo in a story published by USA Today. Although the battle has become a symbol of patriotism and freedom for many Texans and Americans, like the Confederate monuments erected after the Civil War, the myth of the Alamo has been used to “commemorate whiteness,” according to Walter L Buenger, Texas State Historical Association chair. The battle itself was relatively insignificant tactically speaking, but it gained recognition decades later in the 1890s as backlash to African Americans gaining more political power and Mexican immigration increasing

The last time I checked, this was the USA. A free country. A country where, when mobs of thugs were destroying Minneapolis, Portland, Kenosha, and other cities, the media reacted in horror at the suggestion that a few National Guard troops might help return calm for the residents trying to live peacefully in their homes, do business as much as possible in the circumstances, and stay afloat during a pandemic. As Portland’s Mayor Ted Wheeler said when offered federal troops to quell the violence, “This is not the America we want.” The very idea is repugnant! Now, I am seeing pictures of Washington DC preparing to inaugurate Biden

Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday warned that “more ominous” strains of COVID-19 have emerged out of South Africa and Brazil. The Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said they’re looking “very carefully” at the two new mutant variants in addition to another highly-contagious one that was first detected in the United Kingdom. “People need to realize there’s more than one mutant strain,” Fauci told NBC anchor Chuck Todd on “Meet the Press.” “There’s one from the UK that’s essentially dominated… There’s another more ominous one that’s in South Africa and Brazil.” Fauci said he doesn’t want “people to panic,”
