President Trump Takes

“The Republican nominee for president will be that candidate who best learns that there is no future in apologizing,” I wrote in a June 10, 2015, column. Six days later Donald Trump descended the escalator at Trump Tower and, in so doing, launched the most volatile period in American history since the Civil War. (snip) Reportedly, Louisiana Governor Huey Long was once asked, “Do you think we will ever have Fascism in America?” Said Long, “Sure, only we'll call it anti-Fascism.” What Trump exposed, and which may prove of more lasting value than what he accomplished, was the real-life unfolding of Long’s paradox.

Well, the lines are clearly drawn. Despite his raw nature, Trump is clearly on the good side. The left is clearly on the bad side. This experiment in self government is in big trouble.

I only question one of PDT's accomplishments. FTA "From the conservative perspective, Trump’s most enduring accomplishment were the judicial appointments, a high percentage of whom are constitutionalists, nearly 500 at all levels, including three in the Supreme Court." "The “fascist” movement began with Italy’s Benito Mussolini. He took the name of his party from the Latin word fasces meaning a bundle of rods gathered together in one strong hand. Starting in ten days all the rods will be gathered -- the presidency, the House, the Senate, Big Tech, Big Media, Hollywood, the CIA, the FBI, **perhaps even the military**. Just in the last few weeks, their collective eagerness to suppress dissent has shown up their mentors in the CCP." Mussolini was no conservative, that's for darn sure.

We were doing so well. The greatest President of my lifetime. A bio weapon from China unleashed. A stolen election. I'll admit I'm disappointed that having made such incredible progress, Jerusalem named the capital of Israel, God's name proclaimed, peace breaking out in the middle East, ending wars, ending abortion, the inner cities beginning to blosdom... Can t figure out why God did not bless those things with a mighty win. Now, we will slip backwards at an alarming rate. It was bad with socialism for 8 years... we are going full blown communism now and nothing is going to stop it.

#35, God did blaess him with a mighty win. Unfortunately, the election was stolen from WTP. I believe Trump's greatest accomplishment is making the American People aware of just how many RINO traitors there are in government. It is up to us to vote every single one of them out of office, at least in the State's where voter fraud hasn't been mastered yet. In 2022, Tim Scott and Joe Wilson will be the first to go. Unfortunately we're stuck with Lindsey until 2026. I hope I live long enough to vote him out!

he and Pence agreed to something while they were meeting. something tells me that Pence is playing the go-between in this matter and is keeping the President well informed about the demcoms plans. DJT does not do anything that he is not totally prepared to confront and beat/destroy and the demcoms are in his crosshairs. be careful big mams, the lads with the silver bracelets are closing in.

Maybe God, in His infinite wisdom, saw what we didn't see...that Trump alone would not be enough. Even with a second term. Perhaps He knew that We the People must rise together to finally destroy the malignancy that has been festering and growing among us. Think. You'll see it now too. Rise. This is why it has come to this moment.

Poster 10, oh that you are right but that is wishful thinking at this point. Hopium for American Patriots but hopium none the less. This is over in my opinion. God could have intervened and he did not. Talk about feeling lost! A cold dark future looms before us. They are emboldened by enforced shut downs, loss if people's livelihoods, a stolen election, silencing people's opinions, There will NEVER be another free and fair election in this country. If they so easily stole the largest landslide in American history it is foolish to say voting will change anything. I'm nonot r a nay sayer, I'm a,realist. Time to face reality and quite frankly I'm exhausted from politics. It's a game and I'm sick of playing.

Don't feel lost, #12. God is still on His throne. He knows the end from the beginning. If He didn't answer our prayers the way we want, it's because He has other plans that we, in our human frailty, can't see. My hope is in Christ, not in any other man or woman. Keep your eyes fixed on Him in the chaos. My personal belief is that God is setting His plan in motion to bring about the end. The worse it gets, the sooner Jesus will remove His church. You want to talk about chaos? The whole world left behind will be in complete chaos for 7 years. While the world tribulates, followers of Jesus will be with Him celebrating. Maranatha. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." I Thessalonians 4:17

At his press conference on July 8, Joe Biden offered a rather bizarre interpretation of history, in which he likened Ted Cruz and his challenge to some electoral votes to Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels and the “Big Lie.” Biden illustrated his point by referring to the Allied bombing of Dresden in February 1945 in which, he said, “250 or 2,500 people” were killed. (snip) As an historian I am flummoxed at Biden’s illustration of Dresden as a Big Lie. (snip) Except the Nazi Big Lie was not about Dresden. Rather it was about the British and American bombing of Hamburg in 1943.

Despite the national focus on the political battles in D.C., the state election results provide very positive news for Republicans. Republicans increased their trifectas (governor and legislature control) to 23 states (24 with Alaska if they ever finish counting). There are twelve states with divided control, and seven of those have Republican majorities in the legislature. Despite the Democrat huge advantage in money and media support, Republicans increased their number in Congress and in statehouses. This gives the Republicans a deep bench of intelligent, honest, and capable elected representatives at the state and local level.

Americans are expected to be aghast at the events in Washington, D.C. on January 6. A vicious mob of revolutionary Trump supporters, we are told, swarmed the nation’s capital and, in an act of insurrection, unlawfully entered the hallowed halls of Congress. Unlike the “fiery but mostly peaceful protests” that were reported over the summer, the media have been quick to claim that this was not a “mostly peaceful” protest (despite the protestors being, by any estimation, mostly peaceful), but the entire event is being categorized as a bona fide riot that had been fueled by Donald Trump’s irresponsible and untruthful rhetoric.

In 2020, Democrat riots caused billions of dollars in property damage, destroyed historic sites, and assaulted and murdered dozens of people. Meanwhile, on January 6, President Trump asked patriots to walk peacefully to the Capitol to cheer politicians who, copying Democrat, objected to Electoral College votes. Some hotheads (encouraged by Antifa plants?) entered the Capitol, as Democrat protesters have done many times before. This time, though, Democrats demand that Trump leave office immediately under the 25th Amendment or be impeached and that all Trump-supporting politicians across America be expelled from office.

The Capitol Police have over 2,000 sworn officers. A police force dedicated to protecting Capitol Hill has more personnel in its service than the police forces of most of the country. Congress' private cops are the 19th largest police force in the country. It’s a larger force than the police forces of Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, or Milwaukee with a massive $460 million budget. It’s the only legislative federal force in the country that is answerable exclusively to Congress. While Democrats advocated defunding the police, their private police force budget shot up from $375 million in 2016 to $460 million in 2020. After the Capitol Hill riot, expect it to go higher.
