President Donald Trump said Friday he won’t attend the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, after his supporters mounted a violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol earlier this week. “To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th,” Trump tweeted.
With pressure mounting in Congress for the president to be removed from office and top administration officials resigning over the assault on the Capitol, Trump posted a video Thursday evening in which he conceded Biden would be inaugurated and pledged “a smooth, orderly and seamless transition of power.”

Good for him! I would have HATED having to watch that Inaugural ceremony with all those Heathens grinning and smirking! Nope! The TV will be off all day! Hopefully there will be photos of Trump golfing! Maybe he could give the Media taking the Pic the universal sign for up yours! I would love that! You would hear the MAGA CROWD cheering all over the country! Sadly, that photo would never make it to any news station!

I don't blame him. The election was stolen. He has been vilified from day one and has stood tall. Then the MSM criticizes him for standing up for himself and the Deplorables who work hard and pay the taxes that the Democrats want to take away from us. I hope he gets a good rest and then reappears. Maybe he could leave during the fake inauguration and the Press will use two screens so we can watch him leave like they did for the Clintons. Hmmm. I don't think so either.

Look at the way BloomCrap wrote this article. If they impeach Trump again I am ready for the Civil War that will surely come.

I've been hoping for this. After the crap that has been flung at him for the past four years, he's under no obligation to play nice with the leftists who stole the election. He should spend the day conspicuously playing golf. The traditions of coffee in the white house before and the letter to the incoming POTUS in the Resolute Desk, need to go as well. The only letter I'd leave ends with "...and the horse you rode in on!" It is nice to think about, but better to leave nothing, though.

Another thought - I'm sure the RINO squishes will make a big play of being gracious losers and attend showing their true colors courtesy of Trump for one last time.

For FOUR years they have called President Trump the " illegitimate" President. Now there will really be a phony, illegitimate usurper in the Oval office. I won't even dignify the title by using the phony's name with the office...much less the Jezebel who accompanies him.

Won't attend (actually had a friend who wanted me to go with her), won't watch, it's a nonevent. President Trump will still be my President. PDT should have a rally somewhere; he can hire his own security. Bump biden and the fraud he rides in on.

Thank you, President Trump, for refusing to dignify the corrupt process and corrupt individuals who participated in the greatest crime ever inflicted on the American people. We have been denied our right to elect our own president. Not surprisingly, by the same people who almost got away with picking our president for us in 2016.
I'll take MSM assurances that Trump supporters "...mounted a violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol earlier this week." with the same grain of salt by which I evaluated the preposterous Steele "Dossier" and globalist/politician/deep state driven Russia hoax.
Countless Trump rallies across the country have taken place, and we do not find Trump supporters attacking people, nor has President Trump encouraged his supporters to confront people "in the streets" or "in gasoline stations" or "restaurants" or anywhere else.
Intimidation, threats, and pre-marked ballots are not the hallmarks of free and fair elections. Sending voter in formation to Spain and Germany has yet to be explained to us. Voting machines aren't supposed to be connected to the internet. Keeping poll watchers from seeing what the insiders are doing with ballots violates the very safeguard to which voters are entitled. Sending away observers because counting is supposedly over for the night, and then continuing to count ballots stored in containers under tables is not how free and fair elections are conducted.
I wonder what would happen if Americans had better options for news reports, and social platforms. If the Trump organization wants to build it, I'm guessing patriots will come...in a landslide.

Good for President Trump and FL Melania. Now Jill Biden won't have to worry about being embarrassed by being handed a Tiffany blue gift box as Melanina did to Michelle Obama back in 2017 and not knowing what to do with the gift.

President Trump, you are the MOST loved person in America!
I'm sure you feel discouraged but don't. You pulled back the lace curtain on the windows and showed America the bars on that window.
100 million or more American Patriots vored for you. Feel the love!!!
The communists in control of the country now are chewing their own tongues out because they know, they may be in charge but they are loathed.
We love and respect you sir, and we, American Patriots will NEVER leave you! God grant you every blessing and more!

What he should do is have a big rally at the same time. It would be the perfect way to flip them the bird.

History repeats, with President Andrew Johnson, also impeached, refusing to attend inauguration of US Grant. Wikipedia reports that:
Ulysses S. Grant and his administration, including his cabinet, suffered many scandals, leading to a continuous reshuffling of officials. Grant, ever trusting of associates, had strong bonds of loyalty to those he considered friends. Grant was influenced by both political forces of reform and corruption. The standards in many of his appointments were low, and charges of corruption were widespread.........Nepotism, although legally unrestricted at the time, was prevalent, with over 40 family members benefiting from government appointments and employment. In 1872, Senator Charles Sumner, labeled corruption in the Grant administration "Grantism".
We are about to coin a replacement, Bidenism, for the massive corruption about to befall us. One hopes that Biden, his family and his cabinet members are so engrossed in corruption that they forget to pass laws and regulations that harm us. See Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State without any accomplishments other than getting very rich.

Doesn't matter. WIll only cement the evil media narrative. Do something useful to stop this crime and release information tied to the arrest of someone important. That's the only way they will cover it, but do something or they will destroy you and us. I'd go for a top ten rat that everyone knows or a media figure. Letting the media and criminals destroy your legacy with an obvious coup is no way to end a great 4 years.

Actually Trump should go further and suggest that all his supporters stay away from whatever inauguration proceedings do actually happen. Then when the Antifa and other extremist groups disrupt the proceedings it will be much harder for Biden, the Democrats, and their media propaganda arms to try to pin fraudulent blame on legitimate Trump supporters.

Andrew Johnson deserved to be impeached. One of our worst presidents. President Trump deserves something close to sainthood for suffering the abuse he has tolerated.

Good for him. Since 2015 PDJT has had nothing but mud slung at him from the leftist scum and RINO cowards. Remember also when the late never great Elijah Cummings and most other democrats didn’t attend his inauguration. They called him an illegitimate poser. Now we will witness a truly illegitimate fraud in Sniffer Joe Biden become #46. I will not be watching. I’ll be watching reruns of awesome cops on TV like TJ Hooker and Hunter.

I thought the same thing, #27. Can you imagine the President and Melania amongst all those Dems and their dumpy, dowdy wives? Every camera would be on them. They would take the spotlight away from the dumpster Bidens by just being there. Quietly.

I'm back to placing my USPS flag postage stamps upside down the same as I did when obama, the anti-Christ, was president. for 8 very long years.
