President-elect Joe Biden will aim to release nearly every available dose of the coronavirus vaccine when he takes office, a break with the Trump administration's strategy of holding back half of US vaccine production to ensure second doses are available.
Releasing nearly all vaccine doses on hand could quickly ratchet up the availability of coronavirus vaccines by allowing more people access to a first dose. It could also be a risky strategy as both Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna's vaccines require two doses, administered at specific intervals, and vaccine manufacturing has not ramped up as rapidly as many experts had hoped.

Don't be surprised if the Biden Administration (how I hate typing that) limits the vaccines so that if you voted for Trump - your don't get it.

Proabably part of the plan for continuing the lockdown. If the vaccine doesn’t work well the plandemic can continue. Making it easier for the dems to continue to destroy the economy and implement their disastrous plans.

Everything I’ve read indicates the released doses now aren’t being used. Something like 70. % not used. Typically the states are dropping the ball since they didn’t get enough bribe money from the fed.

Further down the page, the posted Atlantic article says "The vaccine rollout is not going as planned. Since mid-December, the U.S. has distributed 21.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines; fewer than one-third have actually made it into people’s arms."
So Xiden's plan means pretty much nothing. But who can trust CNN and The Atlantic anyway?

Ok so that just means the states and counties will have even more vaccine on hand that's not going out.
Just a PR "look at me, I'm better then Trump" stunt which won't change anything except who has to store it and make it harder for areas who need more to get it because there's no reserve.
What a clown.
He wants covid to keep going.

Who is going to administer all those unlimited numbers of vaccine and ensure that the second dose is given at the right time? The States are having trouble administering the vaccine that they have already been allocated so you can look for chaos ahead and vaccines being misallocated and being administered to population groups favored by the leftist and liberal Democrats in accordance with their identity politics schemes, rather than in accordance with medical scientific considerations as to who is individually more at risk of contracting COVID and suffering severe or deadly symptoms. Look at what is going on in New York now, that may be the future of the entire country.

Let's remember that Biden graduated 76th in a class of 85 in law school, while claiming to be in the top 10. And he has a 45-year record of making bone-headed decisions. He's going to botch up the CVOID program worse than anyone can imagine.

The doses were separated for a reason. I hope he got the approval of Doctor Jill before making this medical decision.

For once I got the impression that an Atlantic reporter is not on Joe Biden’s side… Sara “ It could also be a risky strategy as both Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna's vaccines require two doses, administered at specific intervals, and vaccine manufacturing has not ramped up as rapidly as many experts had hoped.”
A dopey “what could possibly go wrong?” moment in a life filled with them...

You can release them, and they will add to the stockpile of unused vaccine. The reason the number of vaccinations given is low is because people don’t want it, not because there is no product available.

Theses vaccines have a very very short self life. Doing this guarantees most of it will expire before it gets used.
Distribution is the easy part. Injecting it is the hard part. Limited doctors, limited storage, limited syringes, limited parking spaces.

Most people I spoke to told me they don't want the vaccine - due to very sketchy side effects. I don't want a vaccine from a political point of view. Dr Jill Biden is the leftist dream of a doctor, knows very little and never hesitates to prove it.

You can have mine. I’m so altruistic I can’t stand it. Besides, it may not work anyway and the side effects...

Except that we are told by the “scientists” that the vaccines are no more than 50% effective (at best) without the second shot that must be given 21 days later. So they’ll get all of the vaccine out, in storage places that may not hold it for long, and possibly not have a sufficient supply available for the 21 day followups. Swell idea, Joe…/s Keep up the good work. /s You’re a real genius /s (PS: In some places they are already wondering what to do with the unused vaccine due to lower-than-expected turnout. These vaccines have limited “shelf lives”. Joe: “Nevermind. Don’t confuse me with the facts…”)
