Facebook has banned President Donald Trump from using its social network or Instagram “indefinitely” and at least for the two weeks remaining in his presidency.
In a post on the site, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerburg wrote that Trump’s refusal to condemn his extremist supporters who stormed and occupied the U.S. Capitol building Thursday, which left four dead, showed that he “intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power to his elected successor, Joe Biden.”
For weeks leading up to Wednesday's Congressional vote to certify states' electors for President-elect Joe Biden, some Trump supporters openly planned a violent confrontation

I will be 71 in a few months, and President Trump is the first president since before I was born to have actually been elected president By The People. I have said for years that I am tired of the president being elected by the media. (Probably on orders from the CIA.) Every election year you could tell who was going to be elected, because it was whoever the media was pushing. They underestimated The People in 2016, so they got ugly as ugly could be for >4 yrs to try to demean him and Us. Like the president said, its not him they hate, it is us peons that want to choose our own president. I heard a "news" commentator say a couple days ago "we have to totally destroy them" meaning those of us that won't bend to the will of the communists.

Sorry for the second post, but I just wanted to add: It apparently isn't just a swamp, its a whole filth infested ocean of back stabbing phony bureaucrats. I detest those of them that do not have our best interests at heart, and that seems to be 99%.

Trump's most delicious revenge (and best strategy now) would be to start "Trumpbook" to destroy Facebook, "TrumpTalk" to destroy Twitter, and "TrumpTVNews" to destroy the cable news cabal. I'd subscribe to all of them.

Where were all these "pretend-Samaritans" when the country was ablaze last year? They were with the thugs cheering them on. What goes around comes around. Hopefully sooner than later for Zucks and gang

I agree that Trump should start up a new version of Facebook. I have been on there for years, only so that I can see pics of my Grandchildren and see what they're up to (they all live in different States from me). I would LOVE it if Trump would go against Facebook. He would immediately take away 70 Million people from Old Zuckerberg. Even if Trump wouldn't be interested in running it, he has lots of family who could take over the day to day stuff!

Too bad MySpace isn't positioned to make a comeback. If the Zuckface went out of business, I might not resist the Schadenfreude impulse... heck, I might even stoke it.

No way should anyone or any entity in the USA have the power to censor anything that an American President tells the American people. No doubt Zuckerberg believes that he is an elite who should retain the right to determine the political information that ordinary American people receive from the President. That’s a direct attack on the First Amendment rights of the President and the people of the USA.

I deactivated my fb account today. I enjoy a small group of friends and family sharing pics and stories, but will give that up in Trumps honor. I followed him on Facebook and it is the utmost hypocrisy that he is accused of inciting violence. Fb literally pushed out all this blm unsolicited B.S. from woke corporations during the nights of protests and looting, and that was ok. I will no longer be victimized by their propaganda. The big question is why is the stock up,coercion from an oversees investor(s)..

I don't see how elections can be fair, when Zuckerburg can come into your state and spend $400M buying the election officials, votes, and vote counting equipment.

Want a bet that the Zuckerberg POS who paid people in Philadelphia to push Republicans out of voting offices etc., paid several millions in Georgia, had something to do with this? Along with Soros, the Obamination and a few others who brought the rent a mob to DC!

After much cajoling from my sons, I agreed to having both facebook and instagram accounts to receive photos of grandkids. However in all this time, through facebook and instagram accounts, we've received almost as few photos as we were receiving previously through our email.....clearly a wasted effort.
Being a firm believer that freedom of speech is not dictated by heads of corporations, I'm permanently shutting down both accounts.
