Find his test sites, top bomb experts say.
Anthony Quinn Warner’s device, although probably made of common over-the-counter components, is unique in the annals of mayhem, according to seasoned FBI bomb experts consulted by SpyTalk.
"We’ve never seen an improvised thermobaric device before in this country or any country,” says Dave Williams, who conducted the FBI’s on-scene investigations of the World Trade Center, Oklahoma City, Pan Am 103 and Unabomber bombings, among other notorious incidents. Thermobaric refers to a gaseous fuel-air explosion.
“The reason is, it’s very difficult to get the timing down to get an optimum mixture of air and a liquified carbonaceous fuel

FTA: “We always worried that someone would attack a hospital with a large truck bomb parked immediately adjacent to a hospital oxygen tank farm,” the ex-FBI bomb tech tells SpyTalk.
And now, so do I.

#1 as you point out this article is practically begging some psycho to bomb a hospital . . . and giving instructions on how to make the explosion bigger.
That's probably why the publication is named The Daily Beast.

Too many unanswered questions. Whose voice warned the police to evacuate the area? Was the woman involved in any way? Why aren't the MSM talking about it? If he was a Democrat or a member of the Antifa thugs, they will keep it covered up. If he was a Trump supporter, it would be all over the news night and day. Must have been the former.

Wow, that ex-FBI bomb tech certainly doesn't seem to have a filter about the information he's releasing to would-be bomb whackos out there. I certainly hope there is as much data being compiled about Tony Warner, the suicide bomber with no family, no apparent work history, NO MOTIVE, and NO TARGET.
Or...perhaps there IS a known motive and a known target---but it's in the government's best interest to um, keep that part quiet. Just guessing here. What do I know.

It's possible that Warner just got lucky, so to speak, and it worked.

Am I the only one who remembers 3 gun shots reported before the explosion?
How do we know this guy even did it and wasn't just the on site victim to provide an open and shut case?

Could we please STOP naming this so-called "mastermind-bomber" BY NAME, and just refer to him as the "Nashville bomber" instead. We don't need to encourage any other loose cannons out there, do we?!

That there was no crater where the RV was sitting almost makes it certain that it was a pressure bomb. The RV was around 1000 cubic ft. It shouldn't be too hard to calculate how much gas would be needed to get the proper explosive mix of gas and air, Between 2 and 10 % is all it takes, No previous explosions necessary.

He didn't need a timing device--he was a suicide bomber. All he had to do was sit in the van and ignite it with a cigarette lighter when the air fuel ratio was right while he monitored it. Also, since he had verbal warnings for people to scram, he wasn't trying to kill people as his primary goal, his goal was damage to a building or something inside a building where he was parked.

Watching brief TV news youtube videos the morning after the blast I saw one instance of the blast caught from a block or two away that seemed to show a strange vertical spike into the air an instant before the main detonation (and was commented on by the newscaster). I saw that and thought 'was that a fuel-air device?' Apparently it was.
