Atlanta— Changes to the way millions of Americans voted this year contributed to record turnout, but that's no guarantee the measures making it easier to cast ballots will stick around for future elections. Republicans (snip) already are pushing for new restrictions, especially to absentee voting. It's an option many states expanded amid the coronavirus outbreak that proved hugely popular and helped ensure one of the smoothest election days in recent years. President Donald Trump has been unrelenting in his attacks on mail voting as he continues to challenge the legitimacy of an election he lost.

See how far you can read without screaming. Will we ever get back to Sgt Joe Friday style of reporting: "Just the facts, ma'am." ? This article is filled with so many lies and biased opinions, there is no way that the writers can claim they did an "honest day's work."

The Democrat(ick)s and all the Leftists are wrong, know they are wrong, and are going kicking and yelling (and as always lying) into the next phase: to stop any effort to make elections honest. This is the turning point in the American Dream of freedom and opportunity... but back to the election... Bless President Trump! and Support Him in his efforts to save us from becoming "just another Venezuela." We must fight and win against this blatant stealing of our future!

Quick question - How come these days so many articles issued forth by the death democrat propaganda organs require two so-called reporters to write them? I guess none of these idiots being pumped out by the college schools of lies and propaganda is capable of stringing words together to form a single sentence.

Too bad we cannot place an asterisk after any AP story to indicate the they are no longer a trusted news source. This story is propaganda. Nothing to see here, right AP (*)? As for Republicans changing voting restrictions, I'll believe it when I see it. Washington (both parties), and the people they represent, want Trump gone by any means necessary. The 2020 election was so overrun with fraud, it can no longer be called an election. It was part of the continuing coup to get rid of Trump. That's the real story. AP (*) - Not a trusted news source.

GTH AssPress. Voting should not be easy, it should be accurate and tamper proof. The presidential election happens once every four years, people should have an ID ready, be registered and show up at the polls in person. Anybody in the hospital who wants to vote can make an appointment with somebody for a visiting vote taker, an honest one. If the day was so darn smooth why did democrats shut it down in the evening and make up pipe leak stories so they could dump big batches of false ballots into the count?

Instead of wasting $900 million on the Sudan, how about we spend that taxpayer money on barrels of purple ink for any election? You vote, you dip your finger in the purple ink. Not before, and definitely not until then, and most assuredly not again that day! I would even offer to roll my fingerprint onto my ballot. A bit primitive, but certainly foolproof. Largest turnout with ten's of million's fraudulent counting by multiple scans of the same ballots, millions of non existent people on absentee ballots, an adjudication rate of over 65% in Marxist Communist democrat controlled precincts where Dominion vote machines owned by Chinese Communist Party and front companies owned by the Chinese Communist Military, as the personnel running adjudication machine can change the voter choice in random memory on each ballot then released by the operator as accepted as changed. There are videos by adjudication machine operators showing the method in process in real time proving the truth. Dominion's operation manual has the instructions telling and showing how this is done. There were over 106,000 adjudicated votes in Fulton County Ga where there was more than 200,000 absentee and 43,000 early votes yet to be counted. Marxist Communist democrat controlled precincts always have a few large precincts who wait until they know how many more votes they need to be the winner before finishing the count and announcing their winner. Rampant Vote Fraud in Marxist Communist democrat controlled precincts is evident across America.

We cannot accept any election where the Democrats make all the rules, and count the votes, and hide behind the sovereignty shield to protect them from lawsuits. We need a Big 4 CPA firm to do the counting, and ensure the laws are followed. CPAs are trained for public objectivity, and can be sued, if they don't do their jobs. Election officials should be required to sign off on all elections, certifying compliance with the law, and under felony penalties.

There was nothing smooth about an election that leaves at least half the country wondering whether it was legitimate. To claim it was a "smooth election" is like saying Chinese Communist or Soviet elections are "smooth." Really, AP can't do better than this? Why should I believe ANYTHING from these SOBs?!

The United States Constitution could not be clearer that state legislatures, not courts, make the laws that regulate how elections are held in each state. That’s not happening right now in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, one of a handful of states that elect state Supreme Court justices in partisan elections. Earlier this year in Pennsylvania, the Democrat-dominated state Supreme Court ruled that ballots could be counted up to three days after Election Day, even if it could not be shown that they had arrived by November 3, as required by state law.
