Yesterday, I covered a story put out by The Federalist (and later confirmed by The Daily Wire) that some members of Congress had been briefed on Eric Swalwell and his relationship with a Chinese spy named Christine Fang. Part of that report was that it was confirmed by the FBI that Swalwell did have a sexual relationship with Fang. That’s been suspected from the beginning given Fang’s typical tactics and the fact that Swalwell refused to deny the claim. Well, it had to happen eventually.
In our new woke paradigm, actress Scarlett Johansson can’t portray a woman identifying as a man. Nor can James Corden be a straight actor playing a gay character. Thus, we take an obvious next step: Deaf characters should only be played by deaf actors.
Such is the premise of a December 17th letter picking up steam on the web, which condemns the casting of actor Henry Zaga.
Henry can currently be seen as Nick Andros in a new adaptation of Stephen King’s bestseller The Stand on CBS.
In the series, Nick is deaf.
But there’s some unacceptability afoot: Henry, as it turns out, can hear.

Police say 24 people in all were arrested during a sweep of Cal Anderson Park in Seattle’s Capitol neighborhood on Friday.
Charges range from “misdemeanor trespass, failure to disperse, resisting arrest, obstructing arrest, and property destruction.

State public health regulators have recorded 605 deaths among residents of long-term care facilities, assisted-living centers and other congregate care sites over the past week, according to data posted Friday.
Those fatalities account for nearly two-thirds of the state’s 965 total coronavirus deaths reported over the past week. Friday’s nursing-home death tally also clobbers a record-setting 480 fatalities among residents reported for the week ending Dec. 4. Infections among nursing-home residents are also soaring.
