The Republican Party is poised to win the House majority in 2022, boosted by the rare combination of President Trump’s ouster and down-ballot victories that put the GOP in command of the decennial redrawing of district boundaries.
House Republicans flipped nearly a dozen Democratic-held seats in the Nov. 3 elections, a surprising gain that left them a handful shy of the majority. With such a thin margin, there is loose speculation redistricting could effectively deliver Republicans the speaker’s gavel before a single Democratic incumbent is defeated. The GOP preserved control of key state legislatures and governor’s mansions, a crucial advantage in the partisan battle over reapportionment.
Not if current election rules are in effect. Better clean it up, Republicans! You're going to get your seats and clocks cleaned if you leave this nationwide mess alone.
Man (and woman) up!

Big whoop. if the Demon-Rats succeed in stealing this election, no future election will ever be fair.
"Edges" only matter if the election is fair. Now that the Demon-Rats know they can steal elections with impunity, nothing will stop them from kicking this into overdrive. And since not one single Republi-can't governor or legislature, and most especially the Supreme Court, was willing to step up and stop this blatant theft, I have very little hope for anything but Civil War 2 starting sooner than later!!!

How is that a big f-ing deal? In my 78 years, there has rarely been an election WITHOUT redistricting. Don't pretend it is suddenly a big deal.

Without Donald Trump heading it up, having the House or Senate or both will be only a formality.

Not if Trump doesn't win. You think they cheated this time. Republicans will NEVER win again.
But I'm betting that Trump will be sworn in next month.

More store window dummies. The Republican party has shown it is a fake, a front for UNIPARTY perfidy. Six states, most with Republican legislatures, allowed their fraudulent votes to stand without even a whimper.
Every swinging one of them need to be primaried and sent out of office, if not recalled first. There need be only one issue on the table...the only one that counts...and that is complicity in the fraud by their silence. Turn them OUT. Replace them with citizen legislators. Go slit their treasonous throats politically instead of mewing about revolution - you are one of The People. Start by organizing a recall drive in your state rep and Senatorial districts. Or, do nothing.
Which will it be?

Make sure you pay attention to Marc Elias and his push to change election laws, and rules, to assist Democrats (very liberal Democrats - their called Progressives).
In addition to the reapportionment, make sure you're also proposing very simple "common sense" voting reforms.
Namely, if you have not voted in 2 election cycles, or 4 years, you are automatically removed from the voting registration rolls and sent a letter advising of this removal. After all, Google just sent a notice advising they may remove any account that is dormant for 2 years (covers Gmail, Drive and Photos). Thus, if it's good enough for Google it should be more than good for voting registrations.
Include automatic removal of anyone who has died, incarcerated, interned, diagnosed with disease that affects the brain (i.e. Alzheimer's and Dementia).
Remove winner-take-all allocation of Electoral College votes, and make each district stand on their own to be allocated according to who wins the popular vote in each EC district(mirrors the House districts) - Senators can vote as they desire, likely along partisan lines.
Remove all drop boxes unless they have a means to tabulate (scan) which ballot (using tracking number and bar codes linked to the voter registration address) has been submitted. And, ensuring the box can only be emptied with each party having representative present, and directly involved in monitoring so they can confirm every ballot is accompanied by the ballot envelop that was supposed to be used.

Aw, isn't that cute. David thinks that people's votes will actually count in 2022.
Or maybe he knows that the voting system is (intentionally) broken beyond repair, but wants to make us peasants complacent and hopeful. Unless by some miracle a Trumpian Miracle occurs in the next month, there will never be an even remotely honest election again

wait a minute, how does "...boosted by the rare combination of President Trump’s ouster and down-ballot victories..." help the Republicans with Gerrymandering congressional districts? how does President Trump's "ouster" benefit anyone? who wrote this garbage filled lead in for this post? I thought the "Examiner" was not a less than legitimate media outlet. maybe, I was wrong. I guess I was. I am vehemently opposed to the use of the word "ouster" in this post. President Trump has not and is not ousted from the office of President. get your facts straight whoever submitted this posting.

OMG! After reading all of your posts, I have to say WE all understand what has happened! We know there isn't a Snowball's Chance in Hell of a Republican (at any level of Government) winning an election, ever again! This is it! Either we win this Battle, or we're cooked! Not a big problem for me as I'm going to be 80 in the Spring, so how many elections do I even have left in me!! That aside, I do worry about my Children and Grand and Great-Grands and what their lives will be like under the Rule of Democrats! Sadly, they don't know what they VOTED FOR when they believed what the Professors taught, so they all voted Democrat! They wouldn't listen to anyone! They knew it all! I still feel sorry for what they have ahead of them in life, because they're my Family! I figure my kids got their Genes from their Father's side of the family! Otherwise, they would have been smarter!

The Republican Party does not get my vote anymore. Too often they have cried "save us!" and then turned around and spit on us. Led by Mitch McConnell and McVain and Bush and RINOs.
There comes a point when you cant do anything other than let them have what they want: total silence from us.
They threw out the Constitution. They nullified our participation in it. So, all bets are off. Bye, Repubs. Hope you enjoy your new Chinese masters.

Since it is not voting that counts, redistricting matters nil. Vote counting is what counts, and the GOP has little say over vote counting.
One man with a flash drive can drive millions of votes in towns having only a few hundred voters.

Yup, the 2020 Presidential election, fighting to have the fairly-elected man we voted for sworn in next month BETTER be the hill we are ready to die on. I have close friendships that are now forever altered because they are giving up, going along with Senate & House “leadership” to accept this fraudulent travesty. I told them as long as threats of violence are going to work with Republicans, let’s just save time and just let the Democrats take everything.

Gee, then that means Dominion needs to re-tool their algorithim, This time, each Trump vote counted for 87% of a vote and each Biden vote counted for 113%. In 2022, they'll change it to each Republican vote counts 50% and each Democrat vote counts 150%, with a special 50% kicker added in for all the cemetary voters.

So what? I have always been a strong conservative and voted that way. If however not one senator stand ups and questions the electoral college vote on Dec. 6th I doubt I will ever vote for a republican again. At least the House has some gonads since multiple representatives will vote against ratification. I knew we had RINO's in the Senate but is everyone of them a coward??

Not that this would accomplish anything by way of dealing with any of the innumerable fatal corruptions of our ruling class & illegitimate government.
This is an historic and long overdue opportunity to remove the GOP and replace it with a party that will destroy socialism.
