During an interview with CNN, Republican Senator Mitt Romney whined about how he thinks President Trump will continue to have “substantial influence” over the GOP and how he won't be going away any time soon. The comments from Romney were made during an interview with CNN host Dana Bash who talked about President Trump’s “very firm grip on the Republican Party” as she asked Romney if he is worried the Republican Party won’t “be able to overcome Trumpism in the near future.”
