The full text of the order is below. We've all heard that "No Man Is An Island." It seems that the SCOTUS is of the view that each State in the so-called Union IS an island. That each State is now free to define its own version of a republican form of government and it's nobody else's business. This, of course, opens the way for coalitions of States to form and engage in systematic jiggering of elections--the SCOTUS has washed its hands of this Constitution business.
I think it's safe to say that the three Trump justices will live to rue this day and this work.(Snip) The consequences of this

Apparently these justices want the court to be packed

YESTERDAY, December 11, 2020 a date which will live in infamy the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by destroying respect for the US Constitution and the rule of law. Electoral integrity died on that date.
The US Supreme Court joined many other US institutions in the dustbin of history.
America is in deep trouble.

The country is crumbling. The left, the globalists and the Deep State, with billions and billions of Chinese money and Russian help have managed to so thoroughly infest the bureaucracy, the courts and much of the Congress that they have no interest any more in the Constitution, in right versus "what makes me personally powerful".
I don't see much future for the United States of America. A very sad time when the corruptocrats take over and steal the election and nothing will be done about it.

The members of the SCOTUS that sided with the "lack of standing" finding are no different than the state legislators, lower court judges, and election officials that have blocked the Trump lawsuits to date. They are united in one conclusion, it is easier to throw Donald J. Trump out of office through a fraudulent election than to endure the threats, intimidation, loss of status, and professional retributions that would occur if they stood up to the criminal conspiracy running the coup. A lack of standing ruling is there way of saying, "Go away kid, you bother me".
We are not ever going to let this outrage go away.

Its broader than that. A state can now do any durn thing it wants to do, and those outside the offending states have no standing.

The SCOTUS simply chickened out. They were well aware the fuse on the powder keg was lit and chose to snuff out the fuse and punt. They weighed the pros and cons of letting the fraudulent election slide. But, I would still like for Justices Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, and Barrett to separately inform us as to their view of the matter.

December 11, 2020 will go down in history the same as the Dread Scott decision, where the Supreme Court ruled that slaves are not Americans.
Now, what would happen if the states who sued to keep the Chinese Communist Party from taking over our country, declared that Donald Trump is THEIR president? If all states are now independent this could become a real possibility.

Even though disappointed like the rest of us, I cannot entirely discard the SCOTUS' logic and concerns. They cannot be expected to think about just this election. There are lower courts (useless in this particular case) for that. IMO these are things that could have gone through the minds of the three Trump appointed justices
1. Once they take the case they are on a slippery slope of flipping a national election on a technicality.
2. It could result in every future election ending up in the SCOTUS
3. You cannot have one state intervene in how another runs its business. We might not care but they do. This IS serious
4. There has to be specific evidence - strong and pervasive (In fact there is).
What is happening here is that lower courts and state executive branches are using and abusing their power to prevent evidence from being introduced and a process of discovery started. Once that happens it is game over. The Democrats have broken and thrown away their racquets. They cannot return the ball once a serve is admitted. So, pretend the ball doesn't exist!
THIS is where the SCOTUS should have intervened and corrected the situation. Maybe they still will.

The Three Justiceteers that Trump appointed must be thinking that any relevance that they may have in the future would require throwing President Trump under the bus. The Democrats may get it this election cycle after Jan 5th or for sure the next one when the Democrats get all three Branches of Government. The Constitutional wing of the Supreme Court will be cast into the dust bin of history by packing the Court with partison Liberals. Who knows, maybe that is what they want. The Three Justiteers won't even have to show up. They can just enjoy their lifetime paycheck because they will have nothing to say.

This is a detailed explanation of what Alito’s and Thomas’s “statement” was all about. What was involved regarding the law and the court. Rather than make a separate post, I believe it should be read in conjunction with the main post.

#5, everybody should consider that such a perspective works both ways. Unless they want to start a civil war - the red states can do what they want and ignore federal judges, including the supreme court. After all, PA did it and the SC just rubber stamped it.
Also don't forget the commie states are outnumbered. Plus they have a lot of American citizens within them, in addition to their leftard commies. Not a good strategic or tactical situation if things get kinetic in a major way. They may think they have a numbers advantage because they ran up a lot of fraudulent votes, and are assuming that is the same as the number of bodies on their side. That would be a very foolish assumption on their part.

The link #10 provided is very helpful. This at least helps me to understand what happened Friday at the SCOTUS. That the SCOTUS simply chickened out.

So, what exactly is the purpose and any further need for the Supreme Court? When any normal citizen is better able to understand the basic principles of the U.S. constitution than the Harvard and Yale-educated (?) justices appointed to interpret, rule, and defend it by oath, it's time to get rid of it entirely. It has become yet another fully politicized bureaucracy that serves no valid function.
I no longer feel in any way bound by its random, unexplainable and quixotic decisions.

Somebody tell the Supreme Court justices our country is called the UNITED States of America. All of the states are supposed to guard against election fraud. Not just the Republican lead states.

The next time the SCOTUS rules, extend a middle finger and tell them to drop dead. See if they can enforce their BS.
I am DONE thinking that SCOTUS has anything whatsoever to do with the Constitution, fairness and right.
They are just different thugs.

As to the comment says "...unless they want to start a civil war".....
Hell, in my view, they already have started it. We just need to get serious about it and start forming up battalions and selecting options.

I absolutely believe Dershwitz when he says the message from the Supreme Court is not that the suit was valid and had standing but simply that they didn't want to get involved. Beyond disgusting and does John Roberts & Company even realize how they have hurt the standing of the Court---the last bastion. Robertys was already doing a good job but............ And does he and do they thing the 74 million of us who feel the election was rigged will just docilely go away? We may not burn down neighborhoods our slash citizens but we will not forget....ever....and if the S. Court allows the same rigging in Georgia this country is lost.

The “Supreme” Court comprises three rabid socialists, four widdle bunny wabbits, and two Americans. The Constitution is but a wrinkled scrap of paper if it is not faithfully enforced.
Discouraged.

So, our "Supreme" Court turned down the president’s legal argument? Okay. But it remains OBVIOUS Socialist Democrats STOLE the election using FRAUD and DECEIT. Allowing them to get away with that CRIME is madness. Patriot lawyers should be able to use other legal ways to stop them. If not, other Patriots can and should use other means. –Veterans for Trump 2020
