Blueprint to an uncontested election

Our country has lost confidence in the election process. It's clear that our system needs an overhaul, and it's not too soon to start thinking about ways to prevent 2020's disastrous outcome. The following proposal, which optimizes transparency, would restore voter confidence in our election process. Confidence through Redundancy Designers working on data-processing systems for satellites where physical repairs are difficult use triple-modular redundancy, which triples the hardware units processing each piece of data. "Voter" hardware would look at each result and accept a result only if it achieved two or more matches. Accounting's double-entry system is based on a similar concept

A perfectly workable method to eliminate vote fraud.
The only problem is that the Democrats would never, ever permit an honest, uncorruptable system to be used.

With Democrat/media/corrupted government complex, there doesn't seem to be a way to uncorrupt the system.

First, clear all of the voter registrations every 4 years, and make people register again. Second, a National Holiday for voting, midnight to midnight, so everyone has a chance to vote. Third, Absentee voters must be approved by a judge. Fourth, everyone gets a finger dipped in indelible ink.

One problem, for those who cheated their way back into power this was hardly a "disastrous outcome", so they have no desire to prevent it from happening again. 2016 was our last real election unless President Trump pulls a rabbit out of his hat, and time is running out.

Any voting machine software should be open source and subject to scrutiny by computer professionals for security and integrity. In particular, no voting machine should store votes in double floating point formats only integer. Any software that contains functions that in any way alter the fundamental additive function of a counter should be barred from any certified system. Access to any of the voting machine ports including network adapters should be monitored in real time by all parties using software that can detect any non-authorized IP address based on a predetermined whitelist of valid destinations.

KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) Requirements for any voter ballot with Federal candidate on it: 1) purging of registration at regular intervals. You want to vote? Re-register with current address within that State-legislated interval. 2) Photo ID ... want to open a bank account? Buy a gun?. Which should be more closely guarded? Is the franchise is less important than mercantile or 2nd Amendment considerations? 3) Paper ballots. Counted under supervision of bipartisans, count entered into the record under supervision of bipartisan team. Ballots retained under guard for recount if needed. 4) No votes counted which arrive after 23:59 on Election Day. 5) Purple dye on finger of voter. Does anyone REALLY need Norman Rockwell to draw them a picture of simple/secure?

Our elections do not need an overhaul so much as they need to go back to a previous time when Early voting was not allowed, When mail in ballots wee only for those who requested them for good reason. When Vote counters were human and not afraid to be watched by either party.

#2 - dittoes. I support a national holiday for voting at least at the national level. In lieu of a national holiday make it law that an employer must allow an excused absence for the purpose of voting. The employee then must vote and receive a receipt from the poll workers in order to not be docked in pay. If someone takes the day off and returns with no receipt, they just took an unpaid day off and are possibly subject to their employers termination procedures. I am not so much in favor of this system as it places an unneded burden on the employer but some version of it may be needed. I agree that motor-voter and other unrelated voting registration systems must be abolished. Only mail-in votes that will be counted are overseas military and those that were requested early. Non-military early requests must have proof of absence on voting day to be allowed. Of course stand-alone voting machines with no internet capability are a must. Also a system wherein the voter has a registration number of their vote that they can check how their vote was counted after the fact. I am afraid that the days of the 'secret ballot' are just about over thanks to the ever increasing amount of leftist cheating schemes.

I've got a plan also: ONE day voting, in person, photo ID, NO mail in ballots, absentee only if in hospital certified by doctor, paper ballot and black pen, thumb in inkpot instead of those stupid stickers. NO electronics involved, EVER. If they don't use it, then it can't be hacked.

The software simply needs to be error free and algorithm free with no way for the polling place to modify it. Positive ID. Has this person voted more than once in this election? Is this state his tax home? Is voter an American citizen? Is the voter alive? If any answer is no, send the ballot to an analysis group with the power to arrest or deport. This will eliminate fraud as well as eliminate the democrat party.

I've got a radical idea: how about in-person precinct voting the day of the election with a voter list check, signatures, and IDs required, with only exception being absentee ballots with proof of need which MUST arrive on or before the election day? Not only is it much more secure, but the results are known within 24 hours. When successive batters deliberately erase the lines of the batter's box, it only affects a boy's game. When successive generations deliberately erase the integrity of the vote, the result is diabolical.

Complexity equals the opportunity for corruption. To create trust, an election system must be honest, secure, fair, and transparent. Technology is the enemy of transparency. It's not necessary to use technology for elections.

Perhaps the most dogmatic Trump-hating network of all was very concerned about Venezuela corrupting our elections via Smartmatic voting machines. Yes, CNN! Watch this report from CNN, hosted by Lou Dobbs in his pre-FBN career, and reported by Kitty Pilgrim, who was always, in my view, a straight shooter. The report raises the question: why should U.S. elections be subject to manipulation by a foreign country, Venezuela, a country that is totally hostile? The video is four and a half minutes long, and the picture quality is not good, but it is compelling television in light of claims being made now about Dominion and Smartmatic.

Russian writer, historian, and political prisoner Alexander Solzhenitsyn was one of the most consequential men of the 20th century. He not only singlehandedly destroyed communism as an idea, but also had many things to say about the West which were greeted then about the way they'd be greeted by the Squad and progressives today. Yet they are worth revisiting in this turbulent era today. Like many of us, Solzhenitsyn had been de facto silenced by the Western media and denounced as a nut for recounting the true history of the Bolshevik Revolution and its bloody aftermath ase well as making warnings to the West.

Austin has seen a spike in violent crime and officer retirements after the city council voted over the summer to immediately slash $20 million from the police department budget, becoming the first major Texas city to do so. In August, Austin City Council members voted unanimously to cut about $150 million, or roughly one-third, from its police department and allocate those funds to areas like violence prevention, housing and mental health services. Only about $21.5 million was immediately removed from the department's funding in part by canceling three upcoming cadet classes and slashing overtime expenses. "It is demoralizing for the officers. New York’s ultra-rich are quietly preparing for civil unrest on Election Day — by hiring armed guards to stand watch over their luxury Manhattan buildings. At the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle, where the penthouse is going for $62.5 million, managers are deploying off-duty cops with “submachine guns” to stand watch, while other wealthy city enclaves are also beefing up protection for residents. “Everybody is worried about security,” an insider told the Post. “Every top building is adding security. It’s out of control. We hope it won’t be needed, but we will be ready.” The building is working with the NYPD and Homeland Security, the insider said.

The real winner of the 2020 election might be this Pennsylvania bakery. A family-owned bakery in the town of Hatboro claims that its election-themed cookies — which are currently flying off the rack — have accurately predicted the outcome of the past three presidential elections. So far, they say sales indicate a clear leader for the 2020 race, too. Lochel’s Bakery, located in Montgomery County just north of Philadelphia, had launched its most recent “cookie poll” about six weeks back, offering both “Trump 2020” cookies and “Biden 2020” cookies in red and blue, respectively. This year’s sales, however, are unlike anything the bakery has seen during the last four election cycles.

Pennsylvania Republicans are narrowing the registered voter gap with Democrats with just weeks to go until the 2020 election. This week, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar released new voter registration data – which showed that the state had around 3.5 million registered Republicans and about 4.2 million registered Democrats. That compares to last year, when there were about 4 million registered Democrats and 3.2 million registered Republicans, which means the gap in registration declined from around 9.5% to 8.1%, as noted by The Morning Call. Boockvar also said voter registration may be at an all-time high – about 8,908,777 people have registered to vote in a state of roughly 13 million people.
