A federal appeals court on Friday rejected a request by U.S. President Donald Trump’s campaign to block President-elect Joe Biden from being declared the winner of the battleground state of Pennsylvania, dealing another significant setback to Trump’s bid to overturn the results of the Nov. 3 election. “Free, fair elections are the lifeblood of our democracy. Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so,” wrote Stephanos Bibas on behalf of a three-judge panel.
“Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,” he wrote Bibas, who was nominated by Trump.

His logic doesn't hold up. He doesn't believe he can strip a voter of their right to vote but he also must not allow illegal votes to dilute the rights of the legal voters. By not allowing Republicans to meaningfully view the mail-in ballot signatures the election officials violated the law and denied the Republican voters their 4th and 14th amendment rights regardless of the vote allegedly cast on the ballot. Hopefully the SCOTUS judges are not this transparently political.

Seriously? Apparently these judges are from the Helen Keller School For the Willfully Blind. Next step...Supreme Court it is then.

Reuters and the judge ignore the proven impossibility that hundreds of thousands of votes flipped in the middle of hte night. For reuters and the judge NO 'proof' would ever be acceptable, but the Trump team better have their case bulletproof six ways to Sunday if and when they go to the Supreme Court. They might get one shot. Holding out for that might be their biggest mistake. I wish they had rolled over the biased PA system and prosecuted some of the vote criminals while they did it.

Doesn't matter. Pennsylvania State Sen. Mastriano announced this morning the state legislature will seek to appoint the electors.

It only takes 1 single illegal vote to cancel my legal vote, and disenfranchise me.

Good. Now take it to the SCOTUS.
PA mailed out about 1.2 million mail-in ballots. They counted over 2 million. Is the SCOTUS going to ignore that level of in-your-face cheating?

Pretty hard to offer "proof" when you're not allowed to see the ballots.

This judge is about as smart as the ignorant, racist black juror who said that Orenthal couldn't have been guilty because there was no video evidence of him decapitating his wife.

this could be the plan for getting the matter to the Supreme Court, as a matter of urgency, which is what the strategy was from the beginning. the Reuters author of this article was probably wetting himself with joy while composing said article which turned out to be all about bidet biden and how the President is behind the curve in the race to the finish line. the author of this article doesn't note how the vote went in the Appeals Court - was it 3-0 or 2-1? the article was very poorly written and my 11 year old granddaughter could have written a clearer piece of information than this individual.

"The Trump campaign filed the Pennsylvania case earlier this month, saying that county election officials had treated mail-in ballots inconsistently and asking U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann to halt certification of the results.
Some counties had allowed voters to fix minor deficiencies with their ballots, such as a missing “secrecy envelope,” while others did not."
That's not the right argument.
The correct argument is that:
1. There is no provision in the Constitution of Pennsylvania for mail-in ballots.
2. Pennsylvania sent out mail-in ballots against the Pennsylvania Constitution.
3. Pennsylvania received mail-in ballots against the Pennsylvania Constitution.
4. Pennsylvania counted mail-in ballots against the Pennsylvania Constitution.
5. Pennsylvania certified Candidate Biden as the winner based upon illegal mail-in ballots against the Pennsylvania Constitution.
These are simple direct facts that are already public knowledge.
They do not need exquisite legal analysis.
They do not need exhaust examination of countless hanging chads.
Pennsylvania is not legal.

#14, Exactly! The PA Governor, Secretary of State and it's Supreme Court put forward unconstitutional changes to PA's election laws (written into the PA constitution). The violations are theirs. By their actions, they disenfranchised legal voters.

Come on man! Hey Tom, just so you know and understand, Joey B is not "president-elect". All of this case dismissing is no big deal and all part of the process. The specific allegations and proof will come out down the road. Give it some time and let the judicial process and system work. We all know that you believe this was a "free and fair" election. It was as free and fair as all of the recent elections held in Venezuela that's for sure. So just stick with the facts and quit dreaming ok. Your dream will end up a nightmare.

And when you get 600,000 more absentee ballots (or, at least, claim to have received) than the state sent out??
What then?
The PA vote was rigged, and crooked from top to bottom.
