Cancel culture calls on Disney to fire Star Wars
actress for wanting free and fair elections

Actress Gina Carano found out real quick that dissent from the prescribed liberal narrative simply is not tolerated in post-Obama America. The star of “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” took to Twitter over the weekend to share apparent concerns about Democratic leaders opposing efforts to ensure transparency in the electoral process. This was not the first time Carano has commented on the 2020 election, which has been marred by claims of fraud from President Trump’s campaign. The reaction from the media — which is little more than an extension of the Democratic Party these days — has been to shut down any such talk

She makes some very good points and suggestions. Can't have THAT now, can we???!!

She's a recurring character in The Mandalorian. In other words, she's hired and paid per episode she appears in. They don't have to fire her, they just don't have to ever write her character back into an episode.

I don’t picture Gina backing down. She’s a MMA fighter and daughter of an NFL player. I haven’t seen the Mandalorian, but her fight scene with Michael Fassbender in the movie Haywire was one of the most intense I’ve seen. Hope she makes it through this crap.

Cheating in elections, rioting and burning buildings and businesses, take whatever you want from any store because you want it but don't want to work. Beat people up in the street just for the hell of it. Sounds like a real classy kind of civilization to me. When the pendulum swings the other way, there will be bodies. Decent people don't live like this.

Gina is very good in the role. She also is beautiful and (really) tough. You would feminists would love her. Has to be little twinks and pajama boys who either hate women or are scared of an actually strong woman and not a fake Hollywood strong woman.

Guys, I don't know how we do it, other than to let a company like Disney know, that we support free speech by lighting up Parler in defense of people like this actress. Because if we don't start to tamp these fascists down in a big way, and I mean a BIG WAY, we are lost. We are close to losing everything right now with the stealing of the election. And without Trump, the Republicans are nothing more than a pathetic bunch of spineless noodles.

I am among those who have scrubbed Fox News and Fox Business from my devices, and no longer follow this no longer "fair and balanced" outlet. I get my news and entertainment from other sources. Sorry Tucker, Lou, Maria, Sean, Laura, Jessie, Gregg, and a few others at FNC and FBC: unless you have abandoned your loyal viewers, the only honorable thing to do at this point is to leave Fox. I'm a Florida resident and a Disney passholder. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, I have not bothered to go to the parks and will not renew the pass as long as the restrictions and cancel culture rules. Disney has been making up for less attendance at their parks, and movie theater closures by putting their content on Disney+ streaming service. This, of course includes the Mandalorian. Canceling Disney park trips and there streaming service will undoubtably get their attention.

In 2020, a set of oppressive restrictions were imposed on the American people in response to COVID-19 that had never before been so much as suggested, let alone witnessed, in all of human history. Our businesses, schools, churches, and even doctors’ offices were peremptorily shut down by government fiat. We were forbidden from leaving home for activities deemed inessential and from commiserating with friends and family in groups deemed too large. When, after months, a return to some skeletal semblance of normal human life was finally permitted, for many it was only on the condition that they never appear in public with their faces unmasked.

"When are we going to have some positive developments in the president's case here?" Carr asked. Powell said evidence of fraud will be released this coming week. Democrats in counties with large cities always seem to find ballots left in closets when someone was sweeping to get those clumsy boxes out of the way. Those ballots are always found jussssssst in the nick of time to pull out the victory for someone who was in a really close election with a Republican.

Even though the 2020 election is not even close to being settled and court challenges and potential action by state legislatures loom large, President Trump is signaling that, win or lose, he is going nowhere. Trump backed McDaniel for RNC chair in 2017 after she helped deliver her home state of Michigan in the 2016 presidential election in which he defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton. A source familiar with internal discussions said Trump was telling allies he planned to run for president in 2024 and could announce it by the end of the year. The U.S. Constitution allows presidents to serve two four-year terms and they do not have to be consecutive.

Election Day 2020 finally arrived. Anxiety across the country has reached a fever pitch about an election that may go down as the most divisive one since 1864, which was held during the midst of the Civil War. Abraham Lincoln ended up winning that election handily. But the 2020 election has turned out to be much closer than pundits in the media and pollsters predicted, despite a widening gender gap and the movement of suburban voters into the Democratic camp. The tidal wave for Biden that Democrats were hoping for did not materialize. Polls in some key states such as Florida turned out to be way off base.

When President Trump refused to concede the election to Joe Biden in the immediate aftermath of Nov. 3, we argued that he had the right to mount legal challenges if he believed there had been irregularities, mistakes, fraud, or all three. Democratic objections and outrage were as hypocritical as they were inevitable, coming as they did from a corps that refused to accept the 2016 election result not for days, weeks, or even months, but for four years. But although fair-minded people know there are legitimate procedures for litigation, and that these should be allowed to play out, there is also wisdom in the phrase, “put up or shut up.”
