Barack Obama bashes America (again)

As if he needs more money, former President Barack Obama is out hawking a new book — a 768-page memoir that is just Volume One of his latest memoirs (he wrote his first autobiography at age 34). But Mr. Obama’s latest book is raising eyebrows because he is (once again) bashing America. “I’m not yet ready to abandon the possibility of America,” Mr. Obama says in “A Promised Land,” which hit shelves on Tuesday. He adds that he wrote the book “for young people — as an invitation to bring about, through hard work, determination, and a big dose of imagination,

Just when I thought my opinion of him couldn't get any lower. I suspect that in time he will win the Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize for Literature. His book is already on the list of best non-fiction books on Goodreads even though it hasn't been published. I love to read better than anything, but if I was stuck on a desert island with only this book, I'd never read again.

this is the one person who should be at the head of the class in the line to go to prison. he has suborned treason and has committed moral crimes that are too numerous to number. he is a totally fabricated and created individual who typifies the type of personality who would adopt a philosophy such as communism. he had a childhood based in communist thought. his mother was a total liberal and political devotee, which she probably learned from her parents and thus was always in the company of people like barry hussein soetoro obama obama's father and the many radicals he and his mother attracted. he may be thinking he's at the top of his game right now but, when the communists feel someone has outlived their usefulness, they no longer exist. we have seen that over and over again in our study of communism and the communist party because, the party and the philosophy are all that matter to them.

So, he thinks young people are going to read his book. Sorry, but the Democrat Governor's have shut down the schools and "Johnny" can't read. He especially isn't going to read a boring 700 page fiction about Obama. With the paper shortage, it will become today's Sears and Robuck's catalog if you know what I mean.

If he "wrote"the book for young people it should have been a coloring book. Young people are not willing to place their cell phones down.

He’s incapable of doing anything else. I’m glad that, despite the mansions, all of the $millions and the adoration of a dwindling bunch of sycophants, he is still eaten up with anger, hatred and bitterness. His life is and always will be a well-deserved misery. And so is his wife’s.

“For 15 years of my life at the top of the Soviet bloc intelligence community, I was involved in a world-wide disinformation effort aimed at diverting attention away from the KGB’s involvement with Lee Harvey Oswald. The Kennedy assassination conspiracy was born—and it never died.” (Ion Pacepa, the highest ranking intelligence official ever to defect from the Soviet bloc.) “Of all the people I interviewed in New Orleans regarding the Kennedy assassination, Carlos Bringuier was the one I trusted most. Of all the claims that have been made in this election, the most astounding is the idea that the proper authority to certify the winner — and dispose of all objections — is the press. That would be the same press that proved to be so inaccurate in respect of what would happen in the past two elections. It is now in high dudgeon over the fact that millions of Americans lack for confidence in its decision to call the race for Mr. Biden. What vainglory. “Day by day,” the Washington Post editorializes this morning, “President Trump’s efforts to overturn the results of a free and fair election grow more brazen.”
Joe Biden can calm Iran war talk by backing

Joe Biden’s victory has touched off new fears of war with Iran, yet there’s a way for him to tamp down tensions: Let the regime know, in no uncertain terms, that America will stand with its allies, reject appeasement — and never return to that failed Obama-era nuke deal. Iran triggered some of the fears when a UN nuclear watchdog confirmed that Tehran has begun operating underground centrifuges and has enriched and stockpiled uranium in violation of that 2015 deal. An Iranian-backed group also fired rockets at the US embassy in Iraq.

At least two demonstrators who gathered in the Old Market section of Omaha, Neb., on Friday night to protest the deadly police shooting of a Black man were taken into custody after police declared an unlawful assembly, according to reports. The protest came one night after the man, identified as Kenneth Jones, was shot and killed during a vehicle stop. “Until (police) prove that they didn’t murder a Black man, we’re not shutting up – not one bit,” protest organizer Peyton Zyla told the Omaha World-Herald.

Former ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley put out a video Wednesday airing a litany of Georgia Senate candidate Raphael Warnock's (D.) left-wing views. The video by Haley's advocacy group Stand for America highlights Warnock's praise for anti-American preacher Jeremiah Wright, his connection to communist dictator Fidel Castro, and the policies he has supported that are "too radical for Georgia." "Raphael Warnock is an anti-America, anti-police, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, anti-jobs, anti-taxpayer, pro-socialized medicine, and pro-communist radical," the video concludes. "That's a lot of reasons to stand against Raphael Warnock. That's a lot of reasons to stand for America."

Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what the Kennedys ever did for your country. Bring the monkey’s paw of being telegenic into politics? Of all the things that the American political system needed, this was the last. And whatever it was that the Kennedys did, they did most of it a long time ago. The assassination of John F. Kennedy is almost as distant in time as the assassination of William McKinley was when Kennedy took office. McKinley, by the way, also had great personal popularity. And greater political support, having won reelection in 1900

Has Team Trump thrown in the towel over Wayne County? The campaign has withdrawn its lawsuit over the certification of election results in Michigan’s most populous county, the only chance — microscopic as it was — for overturning Donald Trump’s loss in the state. However, the statement this morning from Rudy Giuliani claims to have stopped the county’s certification, when in fact it took place two days ago: President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign said on Thursday it was withdrawing its lawsuit disputing vote results in Michigan, in another faltering legal attempt to challenge the Nov. 3 victory of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden.

The liberal media meltdown about last week’s speech by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is silly and hypocritical. The speech was not only acceptable but insightful and appropriate. Alito was the featured speaker at the annual national meeting (by video because of the coronavirus) of the Federalist Society, a group of mostly conservative lawyers that sponsors debates and seminars throughout the country. His remarks were quite pointed, perhaps even provocative, but they were well within ethical bounds. The media and leftist politicians, though, reacted as if Alito had thrown a verbal Molotov cocktail into the edifice of judicial propriety. But the media’s vapors are nothing more than gaseous piffle.

This time, the insults came from Kristin Fisher, who was speaking from either ignorance or malice when she attacked Rudy Giuliani after Trump’s legal team gave a press conference. Noah Rothman’s excellent piece in Commentary, “The Dumbest of Coups,” deserves to be widely read. I’ve been writing about conspiracy theories for a while now — QAnon, the Flat-Earth gang, etc. — and one of the things you quickly learn about conspiracy theories is that every conspiracy theory is, in some part, every other conspiracy theory: They all overlap, in part or entirely. Donald Trump has always been a conspiracy kook — vaccines, 9/11, Obama’s birth certificate, etc. — and he came into the presidency retailing a conspiracy theory: Let’s not forget that he also claimed that the 2016 election was illegitimate

Much has been written on “the way forward.” There is no need to chew the same material here. This piece is not about the Constitution. We know the power of state legislatures under a literal reading of the Constitution. Whoever is inaugurated as president this January, I will not lose my federal job for stating that the Constitution renders irrelevant the alleged popular vote in any given state. That is just a fact.
