President Trump has told friends he wants to start a digital media company to clobber Fox News and undermine the conservative-friendly network, sources tell Axios. The state of play: Some Trump advisers think Fox News made a mistake with an early call (seconded by AP) of President-elect Biden's win in Arizona. That enraged Trump, and gave him something tangible to use in his attacks on the network. "He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it," said a source with detailed knowledge of Trump's intentions. With loyal viewers and longtime dominance, Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch said Correction:

Axios is just making this stuff up. President Trump is going to have a full plate the next four years.

Trump doesn't need to wreck Fox. Fox has been doing that on their own for 4 years. I've only occasionally watched it myself over the past few years and only because it's less egregious than the others.

When they hired the woman who gave Hillary the list of questions to be asked in the Presidential debate I knew that Fox was going down the tubes.
Why would any station hire a person with zero integrity, a cheat.
It was enough they had Juan who is nothing but a Democrat puppet,
To add a person who was a former Co-chair of the DNC and once was a contributor to CNN and who admitted to being a cheat . To hire Donna Brazille is about as low as any so called News channel can get.

I HATE WRITING THIS, but I once in a while think to myself "It may better if Trump does not get a second term because his enemies may try (or will) assassinate him."
Assassination it a logical progression of their insane, unhinged hate. Their hate that has no basis in reason.
The more he benefits the United States the more their hate grows. People with such hate are NOT beyond killing.
U.S Presidents and other leaders who have immense political power (kings, czars, etc.) have been assassinate for less.
I worry about the future of our great nation.

If some of the deeper pocket republicans weren't so cowardly, starting a new network would be an excellent idea. Or maybe join with one already in play like OAN and put them on steroids for competing with the others. We need an actual voice in media, and our side needs to stop being so afraid.

When I saw Donna Brazille’s fat face on one night, I turned off FOX and won’t ever turn it back on! Newsmax is all I need! Hannity and Laura can stuff it!

I don’t believe this report. If the President is re-elected after all, this business involvement won’t be allowed. If he isn’t re-elected, but hopes to run again in 2024, he knows how petty this move would appear, and he knows that in the long-run it would do more good to depend on his allies at Fox to turn things around. Never underestimate how much influence the top hosts could have on management over the next 4 years.

71 million voted for Trump. FOX viewers, 3 million at the most, 500K now. Do the math. TNC(Trump News Channel), the real news, might not be a bad idea.

Trump is the only real star that Fox News has got. Trump is the anchor 365/24/7. Either Trump is on, or Fox is talking about Trump, because they have nothing else. Fox Business has Lou Dobbs and Maria Bartiromo.

A lot of people seemed to have been asleep in history class. IF this coup is successful there are NO plans for the future that will look anything like the western world we are used to. A biden administration will destroy every freedom needed to keep absolute dictatorial control from ruining our lives. Trump won't be running any networks, he will be imprisoned as a lesson for all of us who hesitate to follow the evil that is sitting in the warm up chair for the W.H.

DJT will do what he wants to. I’d like to see him start a network or purchase one...Newsmax...and just like a MLB GM put together a slate of future candidates that meet his/our approval and give Trump Nation an outlet for hope. DJT is a lion but he isn’t Superman—maybe he is—but he is a media genius for sure and his best bet is to control his/our destiny with a daily public forum, some might call a government in waiting. 73,000,000 angry voters is one heckuva base.

One thing is sure and that is that no matter how this current mess plays out Trump is not going away. Setting up a rival to FOX and wrecking them would be right up his alley. Add to that the fact that such a creation would become THE media voice of the right and the GOP will find itself bending the knee just to get air time (just as they have been doing with FOX). If Trump were to partner up with NEWSMAX or OAN or just start his own he will bring with him a loyal following of not just millions but tens of millions. He will own the GOP and make life miserable for the leftists.
