You can call me Pollyannish, but I am beginning to believe I may have underestimated the silent Trump vote in my previous posts. This is why.
I mentioned the 2020 Cato Institute poll before, which discusses the high percentage of conservatives who are afraid to express their political views. Something I failed to consider was:
Nearly two‐thirds of Latino Americans (65%) and White Americans (64%) and nearly half of African Americans (49%) have political views they are afraid to share.
Why would 65% of Latin voters and 49% of Black voters be afraid to express their political views, especially if 70-90% of them, respectively, are voting for Biden?
I love the last few sentences, not that many of the Elites will do so...

The polls aren’t shifting. They were never accurate to begin with. The pundits are blaming this on voter ‘fear’. This is bs. It is demographics and sample size. A poll can get any result you want. This is just a repeat of 2016.

I don’t know if we shy voters are afraid or just plain smart- we read, observe, and know that Democrats are unhinged and violent. We have seen Dem leadership silently endorsing the violence and chaos-
We march To the polls- in person/ to elect the greatest president ever- and I loved Reagan- Donald J Trump.
We live in fear of voter fraud. We live in fear that justice won’t prevail. We pray-

I take umbrage that we are afraid to express our views. I lied to the 2 pollsters that interviewed me because I'm a smart-ass that wants to see another election night meltdown like in 2016.

I don’t answer pollsters calls, same as I do for any other unsolicited call. My phone serves me, I don’t serve it. My phone is for my convenience, not for theirs. Not a shy voter, I just think my vote is my own business and no one else’s.

The Real Clear Politics "poll", actually an aggregate of other polls, is a lagging indicator. It is useful for trending purposes but will always be off on the actual numbers due to that the polls used are published on different days, over different time periods and different sampling methods.

I have never been "polled", and I suspect the reason is because my phone has a setting that automatically routes calls not from someone in my contact list to voice mail immediately. The phone never actually rings. I feel sure that many people have "opted in" for this convenient setting to avoid nuisance calls of all kinds. If it is a legitimate call from someone I want to hear from (Doctors office, repair shop, publishers clearing house, etc.), they can always leave a voice mail and I can call them back. Win-win.
I lost faith in polls a long time ago - with the advent of the mobile phone, they are pretty worthless, and rely heavily on the pollsters judgement in adjusting the raw data (pure guess work in too many instances.)

I guess you could call me a shy voter - I only discuss politics with people who I know are conservatives. And I don’t have any democrat friends at all.
The polls are shifting and a majority of Republicans haven’t even voted yet - we prefer to vote in person on Election Day. We will blow the left out of the water next Tuesday.

I find it amusing when people qualify Trump's character as "brash, vain, egotistical, loudmouthed". Look at what the left is doing and saying. They are trying to pull this great Country off the cliffs of Communism. They are trying to paint Trump as a Russian agent and a criminal. I am confident in thinking that any other Republican politician would have collapsed in the assault that has been launched against Trump. I would say that "brash, vain, egotistical, loudmouthed" could be instead a full throated and justified defense of himself and this Country and its history. Few others are doing this, especially the media.
So many sad people in the mushy middle think that being a "good guy" is sufficient. Brett Kavanaugh thought that until the Left unleashed its horrible assault. Mild mannered Kavanaugh had to launch a full throated defense with barely controlled anger over his unfair, almost criminal, treatment. It embarrassed and shocked the Republicans on the committee into action. The result was a greatly restrained hearing for Barrett where personal attacks and absurd charges were not allowed, as always should be. In the face of wrong and evil, quiet repudiation is vastly insufficient.
Trump, in numerous interactions, is reported to be quite gracious, friendly, empathetic, and helpful. It is only with those who have proven to be intractable and vicious foes that he attacks. He also is voracious in declaring his victories for America. This author would call it "brash" or "egotistical". I would ask, who else will tell people what has been accomplished? The media? Peace accords have broken out in the Middle East, an enormously historic event especially because a completely different approach was taken to achieve them. The media couldn't ignore it but they were clearly unhappy at Trump's success and downplayed it as much as they could.
Where some see Trump's flaws, I see essential abilities to actually accomplish great things in the face of a Leftist dem political party, media, and bureaucracy. There is no possibility of conversation and collaboration with the opposition and instead we need someone who can confront them. Trump is storming the beaches of Normandy and you can't do that without some heavy firepower and massive determination.
Let's stop being stupid about the the necessity of not only what Trump has accomplished but also HOW he is doing it. If you think that you can accomplish any of the good things that Trump has by sitting down for a nice chat with Nasty Pelousy or Chuckie Scummer, you are an idiot.

An over 40% approval from Blacks and Hispanics for Trump, if true, will not only crush Biden but wipe out the Democrat Party as a national coast to coast organization. IMO, it will be only partially true. But still points (to) a smashing victory The important point is how long will be his coat tails. I have a wish but that is only a wish at this point.

The mainstream polls are probably being readjusted to more reflect voter early voting trends. In other words their polling is still skewed but they have no choice to reflect actual statistical trends if they wish to remain relevant. This why the polls appear to be tightening even though voters haven’t changed. Others pollsters made different adjustments earlier that predict the trend observed by the mainstream pollsters from actual voting trends.

I don't know if I am very typical as a voter, but I have a Trump flag under my American flag, a trump poster in my yard and i have attended Trump Parades with flags flying.
I live in a democrat environment, and many of them are friends.
When I speak to them about politics, I find that most of them are voting for Trump.

A caller to Rush yesterday said that he had been polled five times, and had lied each time saying that he was voting for Biden. The caller called it 'my own operation chaos'. I don't necessarily agree with him, but that is a data point - and probably a whole bunch more like him out there either screwing with the pollsters or legitimately unwilling to be honest.

It was always going to be a Trump LANDSLIDE. The polls aren't wrong. They have been outright lying, trying their hardest to discourage, dissuade, demoralize Trump voters. Of course it didn't work. They are really going to freak out when they count all the early and mail-in votes and discover that they mirror the in-person Trump landslide vote.
But who can really blame them for lying? The media make their living serving up excitement. Everything has to be suspense and a close call. Who would watch a horse race called like this: "Trump crosses the finish line! ...........and here comes Biden storming down the back stretch." Who would watch that?

With all of the changes sending 'junk mail ballots' and 'ballot harvesting' and 'ballot drop boxes',the opportunity to flood the system with fraudulent ballots has increased exponentially. I would not be surprised if some districts receive more ballots than registered voters. Also, I expect to see the 'night of the voting dead' from the graveyards.
