Michael Lind, a professor at the University of Texas (Austin), is a proponent of a national industrial policy. In an article appearing in American Compass, he focuses his attention on the flaws of the reigning paradigm for trade used by globalists: the flying geese theory. (snip)The way this is supposed to happen in theory is that advanced economies like the U.S. outgrow their "old" industries like, say, textiles and steel and develop new industries or services. The outgrown industries are abandoned and passed down to developing nations.

Only a victory large enough to preclude the theft of the presidency by the Democrats and their minions in the media can forestall their plans for America’s future.
The rioting, physical violence, and destruction of property estimated in the billions of dollars experienced by Americans since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on Memorial Day was merely practice (snip) The Democrats already have a plan in place to flood the streets with “mostly peaceful” riots before, during, and after November 3. A Trump landslide will open Americans’ eyes The Democrats already have a plan in place to flood the streets with “mostly peaceful” riots before, during, and after November 3.

Minnesota’s 10 Electoral votes are up for grabs, remarkable in a state that has not supported a GOP presidential candidate for over half a century. So desperate are the state’s governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison (a former Black Muslim spokesman) – both Democrats -- that they have imposed an attendance cap of 250 people (how is this constitutional?) on today’s planned Trump rally at Rochester International Airport. (snip) does anyone expect that thousands of other people who arrive will simply turn around and drive home? (snip) it would not surprise me to see thousands of people gate-crashing or gathering outside

Before Trump took office, conventional wisdom was that American blacks would never vote Republican. As Lyndon Johnson reputedly said after passing the Civil Rights Act, “I’ll have those n****** voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” (snip) All of the prominent blacks who have transferred their allegiance to Trump have gotten grief for doing so. Nevertheless, most of them are sticking to their guns and every day more join in. This is a preference cascade in action.
Pair the preference cascade with the news that, after the last debate, 46% of black voters support Trump

We are, indeed, at a crossroads in America. (snip) Biden’s claim in the last debate that the U.S. is moving toward a dark winter, thanks to COVID, was revealing. It exposed more than Biden’s cynicism in trying to manipulate people’s fear of the virus, it exposed an irony.
The dark winter tag speaks to the Democratic Party’s condition, not America’s. Democrats are ominous. Their worldview is antithetical to the American experience, and it’s rotted. Worse is that they’re destructive. We see it in their language and actions. 2020 is showcasing the Democrats accelerating descent into a mean-spirited, grudge-filled aggression toward traditional America

Almost 4 years of stewing in bitter anger has not softened the edges on Hillary Clinton. Retreating to long walks in the woods and the comforts of Chardonnay has done nothing to mellow her out. On the contrary, with her plastic surgery falling apart, her cackle as robust as ever (a model for Kamala Harris), and her voice still able to strip paint, newly available video of her interview yesterday on Sirius/AM is the perfect warmup for Halloween this weekend (snip) Amusingly, she manages to forget that Joe Biden is the Dems’ candidate

In 2018, the New York Times proudly published an anonymously written piece from a purported “senior official in the Trump administration,” knowing that this statement was a lie. (snip) Eventually, suspicion landed on Victoria Coates, who had worked on Ted Cruz’s campaign before joining the White House. When the White House transferred her from her job as a national security aide to the Department of Energy, the New York Times said the transfer was because the White House suspected she was “Anonymous,” (snip) “Anonymous” finally came forward, and it wasn’t Victoria Coates. Instead, it was some Ken Doll nonentity named Miles Taylor, who wasn’t even on DHS’s leadership page

You can call me Pollyannish, but I am beginning to believe I may have underestimated the silent Trump vote in my previous posts. This is why.
I mentioned the 2020 Cato Institute poll before, which discusses the high percentage of conservatives who are afraid to express their political views. Something I failed to consider was:
Nearly two‐thirds of Latino Americans (65%) and White Americans (64%) and nearly half of African Americans (49%) have political views they are afraid to share.
Why would 65% of Latin voters and 49% of Black voters be afraid to express their political views, especially if 70-90% of them, respectively, are voting for Biden?

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh’s familiar quip of being “your host for life” has a sobering new meaning as he battles -- and seems to be losing -- his ten-month struggle against lung cancer.
I began listening to Rush within days or so of the launching of his national program in August of 1988. Three decades of listening prompts me to view him from five dimensions: as a pioneering radio guy, a brilliant social commentator, a maligned conservative, a sterling professional, and a major figure in American history.

On Tuesday night, Tucker Carlson did something he’d never done before: He dedicated his entire show to a single interview. The person he interviewed was Tony Bobulinski, an experienced international businessman who found himself working with Hunter Biden, James Biden, and others on a deal between the Biden group and CEFC, a Chinese energy company with ties to the Communist government and the military. Bobulinski powerfully confirms that Joe Biden was deeply involved in the transaction, which had its beginnings when Joe was still Vice President. (snip)If you can’t watch the interview, here’s a brief overview:

If you pay attention only to the polls and the mainstream media narrative, you’ll believe that, even though the presidential race is tightening, Biden still maintains a lead and can handily win the upcoming election. However, if you look at the information on the Twitter feed of Ronna McDaniel, the GOP Chairwoman, you’ll see an entirely different story and one that is more in sync with Trump’s well-attended rallies compared to Biden’s anemic afternoon teas.
Today, Joe Biden shuffled out of his basement for another one of his “rallies.” It was an embarrassment (snip) who are the people attending Biden’s rallies?

The CBS 60 Minutes fiasco was all of Lesley Stahl’s doing; she embarrassed herself. She thought that she had the President in her sights and she intended to belittle him. Why not? She and her network have a long history of deceitful editing with the goal of destroying people they loathe. Remember Dan Rather’s “fake but accurate” defense of his phony documents meant to derail George Bush’s re-election.
Stahl’s interview was not an interview, it was an ambush. She did not count on him pushing back; that is how dense she is.
