Mitt Romney, the lone Republican senator to vote for Donald Trump’s removal, did not vote for him to win a second term.
The Utah lawmaker’s office confirmed his vote to media outlets, but did not say whether Mr Romney voted for Democratic nominee Joe Biden or wrote in his own choice to be commander in chief come January.
Mr Romney, his party’s 2016 presidential nominee, has been sharply critical of some of Mr Trump’s actions and statements since taking office.
Just last week, the president would not denounce the QAnon conspiracy theory during a town hall hosted by NBC News.

Mitt “the S***” strikes again. Just what kind of worthless Republican is this guy. This guy should apologize to everybody who voted for him for president. He basically lied to voters of his true political leanings. Nothing but a political con man no different from liberal democrats. Disgraceful.

Will this pampered prince/princess ever shut his pie hole?? Nobody cares who you voted for. Let's make a deal: I won't tell you and you don't tell me. Pierre, Dilecto, indeed.

Damn but I wish the Constitution had established a path for states to recall US senators. A tragic oversight.

Trump got elected President, defeated ISIS, established our borders, got us out of the Iran deal, the Paris accord, the Pacific agreement, rebuilt the military, got the veterans care, reduced health costs, made us no. 1 in energy, expunged the red tape preventing anything getting done, named 3 Supreme Court Justices and several hundred judges, exposed the corruption in our government, stopped China spying and stealing our jobs. What has Romney done? Bought a Senate seat. No one likes him, just the money. Romney was defeated in the run for the presidency because he is a Democrat, not any different from Obama, despite lying about it. Romney's premier accomplishment: being the number two in bitterness, resentment, and entitlement. Hillary being number one.

Does "Pierre Delecto" get a separate vote? What a jerk. Did anyone ever ask him how he came up with the name? Sounds like a porn star.
I wonder how much of his animus stems from being passed over when he was groveling at Trumps feet begging for the SOS job?

Three votes that I regret ever casting. Mittens in the primary, mittens in the general and McPain in 2008. I'm still not convicted that McCain wouldn't have been any better than Obama. Both of these clowns are or have been far more critical of their fellow republicans than they ever have been of any democrat.
I never donate to congress critters running in states not my own. When Pierre is primaried, I will open my wallet for his opponent.

Pierre is going to learn something.
He touted himself as a Mormon prophecy (something to do with a horse) so, he expects lots of his Mormon buds in Utah to do whatever he shows them they ought to do.
But Utah is pro-Trump by more than 10% over the closest competitor.

Thank you Mittens, for YOUR contribution to the destruction of the United States of America. You're my hero, you puke. May you roast in the hottest place, and I pray Utah gives you what you need, a ticket to that place. Meanwhile, I'll fight while you remain a narcissistic ........

Romney's total lack of influence here on this forum doesn't prevent him doing damage elsewhere. There are people who still listen to him -- hopefully fewer every day -- and if they pattern their vote after his, Romney will once again have done harm to our party, our President, and our cause.
At this point, I want every vote we can get for President Trump, and Romney probably just cost us some.
Whatever residue of decency Mitt Romney may have once had expired long before he re-entered politics in 2018. The sooner he leaves public life, the better.

It's lucky for Mitt he found his niche in Utah because he won't get votes anywhere else. I suspect he may have to watch his back in Utah as well. Hopefully he will get primaried. Maybe when Trump finishes his 2nd term in 2024, he can clean house and take Rummey with him.

Look, Mittens Romney no doubt intends to run for the Republican nomination for President in 2024. In that respect Romney does not want Trump and Mike Pence to be re-elected, as if that happens Pence will be the Republican front runner for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2024. With Trump supporters making up the majority of Republicans, if Pence is the Republican front runner, those Trump supporters are going to vote for Pence and Romney will not stand any chance of advancing through the 2024 Republican primary. Besides most Republicans know that if Romney were nominated in 2024 the aggressive and very dishonest leftist and liberal Democrats and their media minions would stomp the wimpy and holier than thou Romney into the gutter, just as they did before.

No surprise there, or that the weasel would announce such. And because he's craven enough to move to Utah in order to win election as a Mormon, the USA is probably stuck with him for life.
