They came, they questioned and they got nothing. It’s almost enough to make you feel sorry for Democrats. Almost.
With a history of vicious misbehavior and the political calendar limiting their ability to smear Amy Coney Barrett, Dems on the Senate Judiciary Committee were reduced to being annoying nags and finger-wagging scolds. They were never going to vote for any Supreme Court nominee of President Trump’s to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but they don’t even have the option of giving Barrett the Brett Kavanaugh 2.0 treatment.

I admit when I first heard of Judge Barrett, I was concerned whether or not she could withstand the bullying. I was wrong in my doubts.
And the second surprise was her utter brilliance. Collectively, the Communists (esp Mazie, Spartacus, and Little Dick) can’t even pool their brains to match hers. (Let’s not talk about Sheldon Dim House or Heels Up.)
Judge Barrett is the real deal. In spades.

Judge Barrett is so impressive and the democrats are so awful. They are angry, bitter, petty and sanctimonious. I honestly do not know how she can keep a straight face while they blather on with their absurd questioning. They are doing themselves no favor which is another plus for the President.

ACB is doing a great job, but she is not having to fend off the assault Kavanah experienced.
First of all she is a woman and it makes it much harder to attack her on sexual stuff.
Second, the way they attacked last time cost them politically and cost them seats.
The Dims are holding back and while they certainly won’t vote for her will not risk losing more seats and still having her get to the Supreme Court anyway. Trump nominated her at just the right time.

Not just brilliant. She has the best poker face I’ve ever seen. She just sat there staring at the idiot dems as they made their speeches without asking any questions. But you know she had to be thinking, “Are you effing serious”?

Judge Amy was brilliant and calm. If she had even once pulled a face like Kamala did in her debate with VP Pence, the Press would have been all over her. The democrats showed their true colors by lecturing her about their agenda on abortion and Obamacare. Don't they realize that there are 9 Justices on the Supreme Court and that her vote is only one; she can't overturn Roe vs Wade by herself. They came off looking really stupid and so bias that they obviously don't know what the word honest means. They didn't ask questions; they lectured. She won!

I spot watched some of the hearings. I agree that the dems were making presentations like they were trying to pass legislation, a point specifically outside Barrett's responsibilities as a justice as she has repeatedly said. After one such presentation, the esteemed dem Senator asked Barrett NO QUESTIONS, clearly illustrating they DON'T CARE what she thinks or anything about her. Facing a certain defeat in the confirmation vote, the dems are using the hearings as campaign ads.
On Barrett's side, she and her family KNEW what she was in for. With her keen intelligence and focus, you can be CERTAIN that Barrett intensely watched Kavanaugh's confirmation and knew the blowhard dem tactics. You can be certain that if it was one on one, Barrett vs. any dem Senator, Barrett would crush them in an intellectual matchup. You can add up all the dems on the committee and Barrett would upend them all without breaking a sweat.
Barrett is a spectacular choice and is going to make the Republican job of confirmation about as easy as it can be.
Further, as we get to more deeply know judge Barrett, consider what her selection, as well as that of Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, say about President Trump. He has not only selected good Conservatives, he has chosen outstanding people with great legal minds as expressed in their issued opinions and are great people as well. His selection of SCOTUS justices has been WINNING in high style.

Of course they can give her the Kavanaugh treatment. Thursday when other witnesses are heard.
How hard is it to find a craven democrat wigged-out former student to claim he was jumped unwillingly?

Let’s see: Monday was all about the ACA, yesterday was about abortion. Any bets that today will be about gun control?

Watching the Democrats work their evil is like watching a snake work. They slither, they probe, they flick, they position for a strike. So far, she has managed to respond safely to each and every sych attempt to trap her into a fatal striking position. It's really been a remarkable performance...on both sides. Her, for her brilliance and what can only be called her pure goodness, and the Democrats for their predictably serpentine evil.

But because Chuck Grassley sat on his hands after Kavanaugh, the tactic will be used again. No prosecution from Grassley for Avanati, (Former presidential candidate!) Not a peep about perjury charges for Switnick. Everybody just went home. Blame Grassley.

She did it all without any reference material, or notes.
She showed that President Trump picked a very calm, collected and respectful person to sit on the bench.

once again, the big man has shown that whoever he chooses for any position in our federal government is in complete equality with him. she is the only adult in the room during this whole charade.

Throughout all of the hearings, from Bork through now, that performance put on by the Japanese-American Senator from Hawaii (I refuse to say her name) yesterday was the most despicable of them all. Worse than the drunken Irish-American Senator from Massachusetts.

I'm disappointed in her performance. She talks too much, She validates liberalism by responding to questions that are irrelevant, immaterial, personal, flat-out lies and innuendo, and harmful to the cause of Freedom. She may be a smart lawyer, but she is dangerously naive and has poor political instincts.
Freedom needs gutter fighters, not tea sippers.

For one thing, they can't use the usual below the belt sleazy tactics because the nominee is a woman. Plus she is quoting their so-called icon RBG right back at them. I find that inspired. Another is they can't go after her for racism regarding her kids because....kids. Attacking kids doesn't look well during a campaign year, let alone other time. So they are stuck with having to ask actual questions.

This woman is Superwoman as far as I’m concerned. I’d never make it through this hearing without jumping across the table and choking someone. She stays calm, cool, and collected. And brilliant.

It seems that a troll has wandered over here from HuffPo. She talks too much? From what I’ve seen she can barely get a word in edgewise due to the campaign speeches being thrown out there by the demonrats.
