Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says the US government has been hiding key details about UFO encounters from the public for years.Reid made the claim in the newly released documentary, The Phenomenon, directed by James Fox, which examines the history of UFO sightings in the US from the 1940s all the way up to this spring's revelation regarding a Department of Defence probe into unexplained military sightings.‘Why the federal government all these years has covered up, put brake pads on everything, stopped it, I think it’s very, very bad for our country,’ Reid tells Fox in the film.

Perhaps I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time but I racked up 4500 hrs in Fighters over 27 years, night and day, good wx and bad wx, peacetime and in war and I never saw anything out of the ordinary nor did I ever hear anyone I flew with say they saw anything. The only UFOs I ever saw were on a Friday night at the O-Club stage bar about midnight - back when we had O-Clubs and stag bars......

Think tanks vs horses, guns vs arrows. To an alien race capable of traversing interstellar space we would be yet another primitive species to make note of. Also, none of Earths material resources are unique or worth the journey. There wouldn’t be hide and seek or a battle, we wouldn’t be advanced enough to justify either.

UFO is another term corrupted by the media and entertainment industry. An unidentified flying object is ANYTHING that may be seen flying, but not identified! An UFO does not mean only space aliens. Airplanes, blimps, drones, missiles, birds- even meteors have been called UFOs.

Tucker's show really goes to pot when he occasionally brings this subject up. Had some clown on the other night who claimed to possess exotic metals from an alien spacecraft. Golden opportunity for Tucker to be a "serious journalist" and ask some obvious follow-up questions but he didn't. As for the same ol' stock footage taken by an F/A-18 pilot of a dark object skimming the horizon at a high rate of speed, think DARPA. We're further along with hypersonic research than many would think. It's cosmically classified so no Navy pilot is going to be told, "Don't worry. It's one of ours."

Hey #5, the reason you never saw any UFOs is because you are always the one refueling under the tanker. I was camping in the Sierra's one night and saw an air refueling mission going over with a B-52 and a KC-135, it totally looked like a UFO with all the different lights and huge size of the formation. Imagine what a flight of fighters in a tanker would be like from the ground. UFO sightings only started in 1947 which happens to be when air refueling really got going. NKAWTG

Everything in that film trailer is "old news," meaning these people have been saying these same things for years, in most cases. And still no proof. This cast of characters is mostly associated with Tom DeLonge's "To The Stars," which has been making sensational claims since it was founded three years ago. And saying a lot of nonsense.

Interesting that everyone has focused their attention on Harry Reid, who I am not a fan of, and not the subject of the post. Many years ago while in the Caribbean I saw something unlike anything I've seen, and I grew up with two pilots in the family. Since I've heard many descriptions similar to what I saw, something flying at a speed not known on his earth. There's something to all this - what it is, why it's being hidden, is the question. Harry Reid is a minor player.

As the Senate conducts its hearing to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court this week, the timing of her nomination — just a week and a day after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and weeks before a presidential election — has enraged Democrats in Congress and many Democratic voters. (Snip) And exit polls showed that nationally, more voters opposed Kavanaugh’s nomination than supported it. The numbers were especially stark among women. If Barrett has a similar effect on turnout — mobilizing more Democrats than Republicans — that’s even math that Trump can do, and it isn’t good for him. Trump needs every vote he can get.

Chief Justice Roger Taney, author of the notorious Dred Scott decision and an implacable foe of the president, died in early October. In Ms. Harris’ version of what happened next, Lincoln delayed appointing his successor until after the election
