How I plan to survive utter despair
if Trump steals the election

Original Article

Posted By: Ribicon, 10/11/2020 2:00:38 PM

In my household, the nightly self-administered dose of anxiety commences at dinnertime when my wife switches on MSNBC. As the president blunders through a press briefing leaving behind a trail of disinformation, my spouse invariably delivers an impassioned stream of expletives at the screen. Then we listen to the pundits, who have lately spent a worrisome amount of time commenting on the many devious ways in which our commander-in-chief could lose the election but remain president anyway. Frankly, I simply cannot deal with this possibility. I’m already on anxiety meds and there’s probably no medication in existence that can take the edge off

Someone who was an editorial staffer at Esquire and an editor and columnist at Playboy underscores the truth of Dr. Savage's observation that liberalism is a mental disorder. Seeing how this screed could have been written by nearly anyone in the mainstream media, why has there been no investigation on why nearly all of US opinion-forming "programming" comes from the hard left?

FTA: "According to my parents, my childhood was characterized by tantrums and a disturbing lack of enthusiasm for potty training" The article shows the author has not progressed beyond what he describes. i recommend he tries holding his breath for about ten minutes. That would eliminate his pain and the pain of everyone with whom he comes in contact.

If you want to avoid utter despair in your life, Blumenthal, don't endow the government with complete authority to make all decisions in your life, and instead take responsibility for your own life---and leave other people alone.

#12 I don't think this is satire, because at the bottom it says "Blumenthal has been an editorial staffer at Esquire and an editor and columnist at Playboy." This could actually be a window to look into the pathetic world of a liberal. A recent Gallup poll reports that only 5% of democrat men are "ready to return to normal activities right now", while 54% of republican women are ready. These democrat men are a fearful and anxious lot.

I didn't see one thought of self reflection or questioning of positions that might be responsible for a defeat at the polls in this article. What is it that the Bad Orange Man is trying to do to you that causes such angst? Do you prefer higher taxes and lower wages? Forced redistribution of wealth? Less freedom and personal choice? Bigger more intrusive government bureaucracies? The central question facing this nation and the world after the election will be the eventual realization and expert agreement that China intentionally created the COVID-19 virus and spread it throughout the world. It was designed as an "unrestricted" bioweapon to cripple but not kill its victims like Geneva Convention restricted agents like anthrax or serin gas . This will be a profound shock to governments and economies (re. stock markets) around the world because it will mean all nations will have to act internationally to bring China's CCP to justice or face future fabricated pandemics until they dominate the world. Who is better suited to lead this confrontation, President Trump or Joe Biden who was a key architect in the economic sell out of this country to the CCP along with his grifting son, Hunter? We will either pull together as a world behind strong leaders like Trump and Pompeo or we will be lead into servitude by corrupt traitors like Biden and Kerry.

So Johnny is on anxiety meds. That’s telling. I’d be really, really interested to know the percentage of Biden supporters on some kind of drugs. I can’t decide if they’re all stupid or all crazy, or both. Somewhat off topic. I have a neighbor with two very large lawn signs. One reads, ‘Anyone With a Functioning Brain,” and the other is “Biden.” I asked her if she saw the irony of those two signs juxtaposed and she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. I just told her I appreciate the laugh everyday.

Can adults really act that childish? We lived through 8 years of Obama (only capitalized because of spell check). I would just switch channels when he came on - that goes for his wife also. You'll have to deal with it because President Trump will win again. You see, they have top loaded all the polls so you think Biden can win. You will have one heck of a temper tantrum when this happens. The likes of you will destroy many peoples' property with your temper tantrums. This time I hope you're put in jail and have to pay the owners back for their destroyed property.

My oldest brother and his wife are Trumpers but he keeps telling me that there is no way for Trump to win. So the first thing I ask him is what channels does he get his information from. Yikes. MSNBC and CNN. Need I say anymore? I will brag that in 2016 I had a real sense that Trump was going to win. I really did and I told people so. A friend wanted to bet me a $100 but would not give me any odds so I passed. (I still kick myself over that one.) I have had a few doubts at times but I still believe Trump and the Republicans are going to win big. At least Trump will. One cannot depend on many of the Paul Ryan like Republicans we have in the Senate and the House.

How about this?: Get some survival tips from sane people who were called upon to get through the final term of the former CIC. I know everyone here remained emotionally stable even though his lying, disrespect for our laws, our country and extreme laziness angered many of us. Not to mention the hectoring First "Lady" who was always happy to lecture us on what really bad people we are all the while we were footing the bills for her and her entourage to take luxurious vacations. Through all of that we survived. On the plus side he made us angry enough to revolt at the ballot box when we elected Donald Trump. Without Hussein and his angry beard Donald Trump may not be President today. SO JOHN.......SUCK IT UP!!!!

The picture of the guy on the floor in the fetal position is how the left handles reality. That and hiring goons to riot and burn down the successes of people who have faced hard realities every day of their lives. Nothing positive ever. Always caught up in a negative mindset without solutions to their problems, or those of anyone else. This evil mess the POTUS has had to endure from them is prime example of how they handle problems they don’t want to face.

Close to wussy. I am sure that they have never been in a fist fight, don't even imagine owning a gun or using one to defend their loved ones. Useless, -- actually worse than useless which implies zero worth. These males are a net drain on resources, so net negative value. Just take a minute and imagine what the nation would look like if Joltin' Joe becomes POTUS. Joe has been a political stumble bum for almost 50 years accomplishing next to nothing aside from amassing wealth for his family. Joe's campaign has proven that he couldn't organize a one car funeral, let alone a staff to run the country so who would be the drivers of Joe's menagerie of incompetence? Schumer, Pelosi, or some other dimocrat dim bulb would step in and help drive the nation into the bowl where it would spin until it ultimately was flushed by some nimrod like Mass-murderer Cuomo.

Mark Cuban has condemned human rights violations, but defended doing business with China, saying 'we have to pick our battles'. The billionaire Dallas Mavericks owner appeared on former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly's new podcast The Megyn Kelly Show for an hour-long episode that aired on Monday to discuss the NBA Finals, foreign business deals and the Black Lives Matter movement, among several other topics. At one point during the heated conversation, Kelly referenced the NBA's dealings with China, a market that is reportedly worth $4 billion to the league, and pointed out the country's controversial history of human rights violations.

On a night when the NBA broadcast its most important game, you would think that the league would own the night. That, once again, turned out to not be the case. The viewership numbers for the sixth and final game of the NBA Finals are in, and they are atrocious. Game 6 drew, at its peak, 6.028 million viewers. To put that in perspective, Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, which included a team from Canada and did not include LeBron James, drew 18.34 million viewers. Those figures represent a 66 percent drop.(Snip) The heavy viewership losses are consistent with disastrous viewership numbers

New York—Americans who own stocks are pulling further away from those who don’t, as Wall Street roars back to record heights while much of the economy struggles. And Black households are much more likely to be in that not-as-fortunate group that isn’t in the stock market. Only 33.5% of Black households owned stocks in 2019, according to data released recently by the Federal Reserve.(Snip) Many reasons are behind the split. Experts say chief among them is a longstanding preference by many Black investors for safer places to put their money—the legacy, some say, of decades of discrimination and fear.

Washington–Pressure is mounting on the leaders of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention—from inside and outside the agency—to speak publicly against the White House’s manhandling of CDC research and public health decisions, with career scientists so demoralized they are talking of quitting if President Donald Trump wins re-election. The situation came to a boiling point last week when William Foege, a giant in public health who led the CDC under Democratic and Republican presidents, called for its current director, Dr. Robert Redfield, to “stand up to a bully”—he meant Trump—even at the risk of being fired. “Silence becomes complicity,”

The CIA wrote a highly classified three-page memo to FBI Director James B. Comey and agent Peter Strzok telling them that 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a plan to blame Russian computer hacking on rival Donald Trump. The Washington Times obtained a copy of the heavily redacted memo sent to the FBI on Sept. 7, 2016, weeks after Mr. Strzok had opened the Crossfire Hurricane probe into the Trump campaign on suspicion of conspiring with the Kremlin.(Snip) Mr. Brennan wrote that on July 26, Mrs. Clinton allegedly approved “a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify

Bands of shoplifters are terrorizing Soho’s high-end boutiques, lifting hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of designer merchandise, and in some cases, threatening security guards to keep quiet—or be labeled racist, The Post has learned. The disturbing pattern began in late May during the riots that rocked the city in the wake of the George Floyd police custody death. High-end Celine was looted of $1.5 million in merchandise then, and the blatant thievery continues “every week” in ritzy stores such as Prada, Moncler, Dior and Balenciaga, one plugged-in local said.(Snip) You have huge bouncers out there trying to deter

Nearly 50,000 voters received incorrect absentee ballots in the county that is home to Ohio’s capital and largest city, elections officials said Friday as they promised corrected ballots would be mailed within 72 hours. With about 240,000 ballots mailed, that meant one in five voters received a wrong ballot. The error happened Saturday afternoon when someone changed a setting on a machine that places absentee ballots into mailing envelopes, Franklin County elections officials said Thursday. Some ballots had an incorrect congressional race, while others had the correct information but were sent to voters in a different precinct. The Franklin County Elections Board said 49,669 voters

Irate Chicago resident Kayla Eubanks took to Twitter to document her dispute on Tuesday with ground staffers who said her low-cut black halter top was too revealing. “Y’all I was KICKED OFF my @SouthwestAir flight because my boobs are ‘lewd, obscene and offensive.’ I was told that passengers may look at me in my attire and be offended,” Eubanks tweeted along with a bathroom selfie showing her ensemble, which included a long red skirt.

Who are you going to believe – the polls or your lying eyes? With apologies to Groucho Marx, we now have the answer to the question: “What if they held a Biden-Harris rally and nobody showed up?” The answer is a shocked TV street reporter. With nobody visible on the street outside, the reporter said, “Pretty much all the people we saw who pulled into the parking lot about 45 minutes ago were with the Biden-Harris campaign or the pool reporters.” And she noted that because both halves of the ticket were appearing,it was “technically, a big event.” Not big enough to draw a crowd.

If money can buy political votes, veteran Senator Lindsey Graham is toast. His re-election opponent, Jaime Harrison, has raised more money in the third quarter of 2020 than any Senate candidate in history, outdistancing even Beto O'Rourke, who ran in Texas, with a population almost six times larger than South Carolina. James Arkin of Politico writes: South Carolina Democrat Jaime Harrison raised a staggering $57 million in the third quarter of this year, shattering the previous record for a Senate candidate as he seeks to unseat GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham. The haul only increases Harrison's massive financial advantage over Graham, who is seeking a fourth term in the Senate

During a Sunday night press conference, Schumer slammed Republicans for pushing Barrett’s confirmation forward, saying Senate Democrats will do everything they can to prevent Barrett from being confirmed. Schumer went on to say that one way Democrats are considering blocking the confirmation is by not supplying quorum, meaning Democrats would not show up so work could not be done. The Democratic Senate candidate in Kansas came out in support of Australian-style gun confiscation during a campaign event last weekend. After noting that she has a daughter living in Australia, Bollier praised a controversial gun-confiscation program the country instituted in the 1990s. "They have no guns. They don’t allow them. Most of the national polls portend defeat for President Trump in November. At the time of this writing the RealClearPolitics average shows him behind his Democratic challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden, by nearly 10 points. This lead emboldened Biden to tell a group of supporters on Saturday that the only way he could lose was through polling place “chicanery.” Why, then, do most Americans believe Trump will win? Survey after survey has found that, regardless of which candidate they support, a majority of respondents predict a Trump victory. Yet another confirmation of this phenomenon is available in a recent Gallup poll. According to the Gallup survey, “56% of Americans
