Climate Change Is Here: It’s
Going To Get Cooler, Says NASA

Climate researcher Michael Mann said last week that if President Donald Trump is reelected, it’s “game over for the climate.” It’s the same alarmism we’ve been hearing for decades, all of it empty. But the alarmists won’t stop telling us we’re about to set the sky on fire. Even if NASA has said record cold might be on the way. The sun, it seems, has been powering down. “We see a cooling trend,” Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center said two years ago, a remark largely ignored but still relevant. “High above Earth’s surface, near the edge of space,

Yes, we have Climate Change. It has always been that way. It has nothing to do with human behavior. How do they explain the flood in Noah's day? I have yet to hear one say it didn't happen. They just keep looking for the Ark. What about the dust bowl and the hurricanes and tornados that happened before cars were invented? Climate Change talk came about after AlGore lost and needed to make some money. He created a fake crisis and wallah made millions for himself. No one questioned his three houses and big cars and jet flights around the world to make speeches and eat dinner. He created a Movement to make money. He hardly made it through college; in fact, he came close to failing and dropped out at one time. Let's get over it and deal with the weather as it shows up.

Anything the left sells as a crisis is something you need to be extremely skeptical of. The left does not care about humanity, they care about power. That's is the only provable science behind global warming.

Well, I'm no scientist but here in central NC the fall season so far has been more like what I recall as a teenager in Ohio in the early 70s. It cooled off in mid-September (daytime highs in the upper 60s/lower 70s, overnight lows in the 40s) and has been quite pleasant for the last couple of weeks. This week it looks to warm back up a bit but the long-range forecast says back to cool temps next week. My wife also noticed that the sugar maple leaves started turning color much earlier this year. I'll trust my lying eyes rather than Mr. Mann's hockey stick, thanks. greyseal

There's big money in climate change, and its an election year. The biggest change to the climate is the climate of fear the big-money types have generated world wide. They have bought off our schools and brain washed our children. They have bought off dishonest academia and scientists. Publish any false data lately, Mr. Mann? They have bought off journalism to the point that its propaganda instead.

Every 185 years the climate changes direction. There was a period from 1810 to 1995 of global warming, which saw the Industrial Revolution, Two World Wars, Communism. Now the we are headed for a mini Ice Age. A similar period in the past from 1440 to 1625 saw the great age of exploration - Vasco De Gama, Columbus, Magellan when the ice melted Like clock work!

#9 quote from Mencken. "Consensus science" began in the late 1970s when Agore and McGovern decided to save us from salt and fats. The scientists said they needed more time to study but the 2 power hungry politicians needed something to save us from. Hence " we don't have the luxury to wait for the science" and gore invented the consensus crap to sell the fear. It worked then so why not use it again. Gore's reinvention of the government was the advent of government funding being funneled into partisan science - as Ike predicted. Almost monthly I read of another former climate change alarmist scientist acknowledging it has been over done for fear and politics.

The wildfires in California will have to be reclassified as man-caused disasters and will soon be needed to warm up the coast so people can go to the beaches. Seems to me, back in about 1972, I remember a fellow named Cronkite announcing that scientists were saying that we were in for a cooling trend in approximately 30 years or so. Well that announcement came true. Anyone who has lived long enough knows that in some areas, summer just hasn't had the same kick to it like in past decades. Imagine if Al Gore had only listened to those scientists and went with global cooling rather than warming. He might not be the international idiot that he is today. God created a planet that has numerous self adjusting mechanisms built in. That is why when we have oil spills and such, they always seem to disappear without any help from man. God is indeed the Master Builder.

Cooling isn't permitted by Demcrat decree, only warming. /s off I have been watching the solar sunspot cycles for many decades. Each of the last four cycles (11 years each) has had substantially fewer sunspots than the last cycle. There is good correlation of cooling temperatures on Earth with periods when sunspots are low or zero. Look up the Maunder Minimum, it was what caused the Little Ice Age. We have reliable sunspot information going back many hundreds of years, from many observers, in different locations. Fewer sunspots means cooling. Or perhaps when it gets cold on Earth that forces the Sun to have fewer sunspots? THAT sure seems to be an unlikely direction of the causality arrow. 🙂 Who could imagine that the giant fusion reactor in the sky could affect the temperature on Earth? /s off

We hope others have had their fill, too, and public opinion will force the Democrats to grow up. “Science” is never invoked by the political left to illuminate, educate, or guide. It’s used to terminate discussion, to shut down debate. It’s employed in exactly the same way “racist” has been used for decades. Not as a legitimate charge but a bomb thrown into a conversation in an effort to “other” the person or

We are hard-pressed to identify a single redeeming feature in the 600-page “stimulus” bill that has now passed the Senate and House on a strict party-line vote. You’ve got to hand it to AOC and Bernie. These nutcases actually pulled it off! Some of our friends point to the dollars for vaccine distribution. We don’t object to that, though if we simply let the private sector handle the vaccine program, odds are it would happen faster. The other $1.7 trillion is negative for the economy and jobs. There is nothing in this bill that stimulates the supply side of the economy -- i.e., the production of goods and services.

President Joe Biden wasn’t too happy when Texas and Mississippi decided to reopen their economies and liberate their people from statewide mask mandates, calling it “Neanderthal thinking.” But wait a minute, who’s following the science here, and who isn’t? While Biden is clearly in love with the idea of the government forcing Americans to wear masks and keeping heavy restrictions on businesses, the science is piling up showing that these measures are not very effective, if they are at all. One Swiss group, for example, found 10 studies challenging the effectiveness of masks. One is a Danish review that compared
