I always trust my gut. Litigators and trial attorneys tend to do that. When things don’t make sense or add up but you don’t have a smoking gun, you start nosing around with questioning and investigating to see if your hunch pans out. Obviously, I don’t have any proof that the recent COVID-19 infections of POTUS and FLOTUS, several Republican senators, and people working on his campaign and in his administration, are truly random events or something planned, but it doesn’t pass the “random cluster of infections” smell test. Come on, admit it. You are all thinking it, too.

What a crock of crap! I know people who have become infected--not just with the kung flu, but with colds, flus, stomach bugs, etc.--even though they were super careful. Then they spread it to others before they realized they were sick. These stupid conspiracy theories are NOT helping us AT ALL, and they make us look like kooks!

I am not into conspiracy theories, but can see that events do not seem random.

Someone from the msm? But, they had to have worked around the body temperature test somehow to get close enough to the President and his colleagues. We'll never know. Hard to prove.

If it were anyone other than a dimocrat I wouldn’t be persuaded. I put nothing past them. It only takes one person, not a conspiracy of people, to pull this off.
On the other hand, for the dims to claim the GOP is faking this for sympathy, it would be a massive conspiracy of fakers and medical staff to pull that off.
Has anyone heard the dims deny they were behind Trump getting covid? Didn’t think so. But they gleefully are extracting maximum political advantage, no? Never let a crisis go to waste, especially when you go to so much trouble to create one.

There were three reporters who appear to be the first cases, two were at the Barrett announcement at the Rose Garden, and one flew on AF1 to Pennsylvania. I'd love to know their names, but they are being protected.

It is part of Democrat culture to not be bound by any rules.
The infection pattern is incredibly lopsided and incredibly deep.
The victims belong to a highly protected and tested group of people.
The timing came at a point of maximum benefit for Democrats.
I reached the conclusion over the weekend -- some Democrat on a TV production crew or on permanent White House staff. And it wasn't person-to-person. Even the indoor college parties haven't seen that kind of infection rate. It had to be aerosol release of live virus or transmission through a catering table.

Sorry, I disagree, #1. And I'm as methodical and objective as anyone here. I think it's perfectly legitimate to question whether this was a directed hit to purposely infect the President, his immediate staff, and certain Republicans. The key word is "question," not assert without evidence. As a mathematician, I find the lack of randomness in this case definitely an issue, and one worth looking into more carefully, if nothing else to develop additional countermeasures.
I liken this to the question of whether Democrats cheat onvoting recounts and "discovered ballots". Statistically, that doesn't pass the randomness either. And neither does this.
Let's start with a few basic questions. Have the Democrats shown themselves to be desperate enough to attempt such a directed hit? Have they already attempted multiple measures of extreme actions in attempts to remove Trump and to stop his SCOTUS picks? In this case, would it be possible to spread viral matter undetected in the President's immediate environment, like say by having it brought in by already hostile White House reporters? Note, for example, that 3 reporters tested positive in exactly the same time frame. Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not.
I'm not asserting it. And one is not a "conspiracy nut" if one notes and questions the non-random circumstances. I would hope the Secret Service and other paries charged with protecting the President and the White House in general look into this seriously and adjust protection protocols where necessary.
Last question: whatever happened to the "random" Chinese lady who was earlier discovered in the President's Mar-a-Lago compound, and why was she there?

I'm sort of into statistics and patterns, so I am suspicious.
That is one of the basic differences in Rs and Ds....the ability to think analytically, and to care about the truth.
When I can't be sure of the facts, I look to the character of the players, which has been well established.

isn’t there a dna type of test that can be made from all the affected people ? The genetic marker (that’s the term ?) to see if they are the same .There would be a connection among the cases ? Then back up to the underlying circumstances .
And while we’re in this . what about the wires & bug-mic biden had last debate ? There is speculation he has a quick administering drug portal in his left arm or a wire system to keep him focused .not to mention the clearly visible bug under his right lapel .That escapes notice ? and DR jill wearing a face mask To Kiss Her Puppet?

Why do people believe these absurd conspiracy theories? This one is right up there with the one about Hillary, Brennan, Comey, and Clapper conspiring with the Russians to come up with that eminently credible dossier, or the ones about the Putin conspiring to poison Alexei Navalny, Alexander Litvinenko, Viktor Yushchenko, Anna Politkovskaya, and Sergei and Yulia Skripal.

Yes, investigation would be a darn good idea, but this Article is not helpful. Statements like "I wouldn't be surprised", "trusting my gut", "not passing a smell test", "what we're thinking", "talking about our suspicions" and "it appears", are not evidence. And we don't even know whether Biden is "hopping on planes without a care in the world." Unfortunately it's all speculation. Certainly it's possible that democrats have purposely infected these COVID-19 republicans, but we don't know. We don't even know whether it's probable.

The problem with #1's argument is that there not one single prominent Democrat that is affected. Connect that with the fact that Hidin Biden suddenly takes to the air as soon as Trump is sidelined is too convenient to be a coincidence. The possibility of some dirty work at the crossroads might not be 100% but it is not zero either.

As far as conspiracy theories go, I still think the vehicle of transmission, were the swabs themselves from the mandatory testing at the debates.
I have said it, now like Romney's taxes... let's ask the libs why they attempted to assassinate the president.

#1, I think you are very confused about what constitutes a "conspiracy kook." To me, there are two kinds. The first is someone who sees everything as a conspiracy. This is an aspect of paranoia. With no evidence, or any reasonable suspicion, they claim a conspiracy.
I think there is another kind of conspiracy kook, and that is someone who shouts down anything that is cited as a possible conspiracy, as if conspiracies were unicorns, or sons of the barren woman. Some conspiracies are real. What would you call the silent coup attempt against President Trump if not a conspiracy? In fact, it was an elaborate conspiracy involving many individuals and federal agencies, including the CIA and FBI.
So, to me a "conspiracy kook" is either someone who sees conspiracies everywhere, or someone who sees them nowhere.
This article is not offering outlandish "evidence" of a conspiracy, but rather suggests that there are reasons to suspect the possibility of deliberate infection of the president. And then she elaborates why she feels that way. A month before the election the man who is protected by the most elaborate health protocols becomes infected. Fourteen members of his inner circle are infected at the same time. No Democrat politicians are infected. It's enough to make you go "hmmm...."
And that is a reasonable response.

I don’t do conspiracy theories (although they can be indicative of real conspiracies), but this one seems too overdone. One of those arrows in Nancy’s quiver? There is a conspiracy afoot to keep President Trump out of the White House, one way or another. It is called The Integrity Project (TIP). Those who poohpooh the notion that this crowd is rabid enough, obsessed enough, to do “whatever it takes”, might want to open their minds to the unthinkable.

As #14 suggests, at an event where important republicans are attending and being tested, several swabs should be randomly tested by the white house before using any of the others in that batch. Hopefully they are not foolish enough to use anything made in China.

As I posted here recently, I adamantly believe that FBI/CIA Operatives infected Hope Hicks knowing she would pass it on to POTUS.
Look at the record of these two agencies begining decades ago but specifically since 2015/2016, along with Hitlery and the DNC, and their attemps to sideline Mr Trump.
Also: Chuckie Shumma, "The Intelligence Agencies can get you six ways to Sunday".
And: Nancy Poolousy, "We have many arrows in our quiver".
FBI? CIA? DOD? DNC? MSM? Any one, a combination or all tegether? Take your pick!
The Deep State and the DemoCraps will do anything to hold onto power and this POTUS is their enemy.
Multiple Targeted Attacks equals a Conspiracy Theory? I think not.........

Excellent article that perfectly reflects the concerns that should be immediately investigated by the Secret Service, FBI, and others whose job it is to protect our president. Our president should step up his safeguards from chemical attack. Investigating what is occurring around you, taking precautions, and implementing safeguards is the job of the Secret Service, and those whose duty it is to protect our president. Do your jobs!

If the timelines and cases (like Chris Christie) suggest that the likely place Republicans got infected was at the debate site I would order a swabbing of the entire ventilation system of the Health Education Center at 6 foot intervals as well as collecting GPS coordinates for each swab location. If any virus is cultured its location should be plotted relative to where the Biden and Trump debate prep teams were housed.
If the highest virus sample concentration is found in the ducts downstream of the Trump prep room it would suggest the Trump team brought the virus into the building. If the highest sample concentrations are found in ducts upstream of the Trump prep room it would strongly suggest that the virus was injected into the air flow to infect the Trump team. Because the virus dies off and the ventilation flow has probably flushed everything out and into HEPA filters at this point its is probably too late to detect any virus at this point. The perfect weapon does its job and just disappears leaving no evidence.

#1 needs to track down the video that Tucker showed on his show last week. Just before the debate, somebody in a dark suit trying to pass for security, came out, wiped down the podium and the mic of Trump's podium only. He also had light colored boots on with that dark suit. Now I am not normally suspicious, but all the security we have ever seen has the dark suit, but NOT the light colored boots with that security uniform. So I don't take this for a crock, not until it is proven otherwise.

I suspect there is a way to contact trace with DNA. The Chinese came up with the virus, I've no doubt they could devise a way to sneak it in because there's always someone who wants money - that's what China does. They probably already have a pretty good idea of how it was done.

Who ? Somebody that wants Plugs to win.
Given how fast this virus spreads, under normal circumstances, why wouldn't Wallace sitting in front of the candidates also get it ?
