Why Big Names Are Getting COVID-19

It's a common belief that our well heeled betters live in a different world than we do. If they wish to, people of power and means can enjoy the very best nutrition, housing, and health care available. When it comes to buying personal protective equipment, money's simply no object to them. So why are luminaries like the president, members of the Senate, White House correspondents, and NFL stars coming down with COVID-19? Because the measures the so-called experts keep blathering about, wearing face masks and social distancing, are next to useless.

Here in Middle Georgia, most of the stores are now having sales on masks and sanitizer... I think they are seeing the writing on the wall, and realize that on 4 November all of those items are worthless...

As he notes - it is a virus virusing. A tiny, tiny scrap of RNA floating in the air or sitting for a few hours on a table top. It can be slowed down by a well fitting N95 mask but not stopped. Even using the sterile technique of an OR is not going to stop it all. Everybody is going to get it - yet half of us may have already been immune to it before it came from Wuhan. People need to calm down. Breathe, trust in God & good hygiene & good nutrition. The stress in part comes from the narrative that at this is a disease that has no remedy nor palliatives. If you catch it will your own physician treat you or just tell you to stay home until you are so sick you have to go to the hospital? No agency is informing the public of the available 'home' remedies. To get treatment we have to go to the hospital. We have to rely on people like Dr. Oz & the 'Frontline' doctors from Eastern Virginia Medical School & hope they are right! [Quercetin, zinc lozenges, Vit. D3, Vit. C, melatonin - to counter the cytokinetic storm, aspirin - etc.]. Is the media informing the public about these things to bring hope & calm - NO! They are scaring most of us into anxiety fits. A friend who lives in South Africa said the US is a medical police state. He can buy HCQ over the counter and he has his stash ready for himself & other people who are sick in his neighborhood. HCQ plus a Z-pak is the standard of care in India & Spain now. In Spain they are beginning to add calcifediol - which is "pre-metabolized" Vitamin D3 to keep people out of the ICU. Now I am learning - chicken souphelps a lot - it contains NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine) a semi-essential amino acid - which is starting to be used for COPD (600mgX2 per day) and which is also being given to COVID patients to help their lungs. ”

Very good article. I am quite sure I had a mild case of it and because I have a very healthy immune system, I didn't realize I had it. In the meantime, I've been going about my every day business and not worrying too much. And praying - prayer makes things so much better.

Am no expert nor do I have a white lab jacket. But from what I've read the masks only serve to protect others from someone who is coughing. Your mask doesn't protect you. It protects someone else from you if you are infected and have a coughing attack. I always wear a mask when in public. It's expected just like you are expected to wear pants. Am glad we are no longer told to not touch our face. Shaving was a real challenge when you couldn't touch your face.

Face masks are useless but have become the democrat/media symbol of compliance. Social distancing is the only effective weapon against any non-vaccined virus short of a space suit. If it can't be passed from human to human and lives for only moments on most untreated surfaces, it's not going to get you. The only risk I knowingly take is the numeric keypad on the debit card reader at the grocery store but starving is worse than the virus.

#2, I don't really disagree with your overall point, and I am no fan of mask. I think you oversimplify quite a lot, this virus is FAR more complex than "a scrap of RNA". It has a protein coat and spikes which link to ACE-2 sites on many common cells so that it has a tool to enter the cells. A scrap of RNA couldn't do this.

Who facilitated the very contagious COVID virus being exported to the USA and the world? Communist China. Who is manufacturing and distributing the vast majority of the face masks being sold and used in the USA and the world today? Communist China. What does that tell you?

Everyone remembers the wildly inaccurate predictions of a Hillary Clinton landslide right up through the morning of Election Day 2016. (snip) One Gallup polling question may be shedding light on this phenomenon. When asked who will win the election, voters responded as follows: Regardless of whom they personally support, 56% of Americans expect Trump to prevail over Biden in the November election, while 40% think Biden will win. I always trust my gut. Litigators and trial attorneys tend to do that. When things don’t make sense or add up but you don’t have a smoking gun, you start nosing around with questioning and investigating to see if your hunch pans out. Obviously, I don’t have any proof that the recent COVID-19 infections of POTUS and FLOTUS, several Republican senators, and people working on his campaign and in his administration, are truly random events or something planned, but it doesn’t pass the “random cluster of infections” smell test. Come on, admit it. You are all thinking it, too.

In it, Trump talks about a leader’s role, and he urges the American people once again to live without fear. Rather than seal the doom of President Trump’s re-election battle, as most of his haters expect and not a few of his supporters fear, I see strong signs that President Trump will use his experience to re-define himself and act as an inflection point, resetting the election. Watch carefully for a “New Trump” to emerge from Walter Reed Hospital, dare I say a kinder, gentler Trump, one humbled by his brush with mortality and a far more sympathetic figure in the eyes of many voters who have found him a bit too much to take.

Liberals often mock conservative Christians for supporting a notorious sinner and philanderer in Donald Trump, but the left has grown increasingly hostile to biblical (small-o) orthodox Christianity. Even the ostensibly moderate Democratic nominee Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. represents an insidious threat to the religious freedom of conservative Christians. He also represents a threat to Roman Catholics, even though he is himself a practicing Catholic. How could this be? Biden’s rhetoric and policies single out those who adhere to traditional religious beliefs and moral convictions, aiming to limit their ability to live by their consciences and ostracizing them from polite society.
