Federalist Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway responded to the news of President Donald Trump and the first lady’s positive coronavirus diagnosis on “Fox and Friends” Friday morning, noting she was “genuinely disappointed” to see many people cheering and responding to the news with glee.
“I was disappointed — genuinely disappointed — to see the glee with which some people responded to this news,” Hemingway said, referring to a number of political figures and verified Twitter users tweeting comments such as, “I hope he dies.”
Hemingway said there is a proper way to respond to this news, which includes prayer and avoiding unnecessary hysteria.

Mollie, the commies/leftards don't care if you're 'disappointed'. They mean to rule, and will do whatever they think they need to to get that power. If that means disappointing you, or murdering you, that is what they do. Their 'high road' is so low that normies would need the Hubble Telescope to get even a minor glimmer, of a reflection, of a single photon, off it.

We should also ask who is behind this - it is to coincidental.

#2 - I've been thinking the same thing. The common vector seems to be the Rose Garden announcement for Judge Barrett. The Trump WH has had several of these garden events, yet only this one has turned out to be a "super spreader". I would not put it past the Commies to have "seeded" that event with the virus.

I am intentionally avoiding my lib friends and family members’ Facebook accounts. I don’t need to be further disappointed and angered...taking the high road.

I am disappointed too. But not surprised at all. Don't expect anything else from these vermin. Only one side is going to be left standing after Nov 3. And it better be ours!

Mollie Hemingway is a good person, and she is usually right, and she is right on this.
At the end she says:
“People need to have really an accurate, fact-based perspective, rather than responding as if it’s more dramatic than it is,”
Docs knew almost nothing about treating this virus 6 months ago, overall the treatment knowledge is far better today. And I think that the President getting the very best treatment is a huge plus. I will bet that even our numbers, our facts, don't show that in the first few months deaths were far higher than they are now. Using our whole 7 months of data is probably skewed by the very bad outcomes in the first three months when knowledge of proper treatment was nearly nothing.
There is a 94% survival rate in the 70-79 age group, including the early months of less than effective treatment. Today's survival rate is higher than that, since treatments have improved and we know that not all actual cases wind up being reported and recorded because they are mild. Cases not reported mean that the 'death rate' appears to be higher than it actually is. So, it is probable that this death rate of just under 6% is actually lower, depending on how many cases are so mild that folks don't get recorded as an official "case", and even lower today with better treatments.
In Melania's age group the survival rate is 99.9+% . Those are excellent odds.
As a millennial friend said, "Geez, you'd think this was airborne Ebola with a 50% death rate instead of a 98 to 99.9% survival rate for most people." Yeah, that is a good point.
This is no doubt very serious for people over 80, they constitute 70% of the deaths in our county. But 70-79 are only 20% of the deaths. The danger drops extremely rapidly for younger people, even "younger old people" like the President.

I have posted this before but us old folks remember Ike's massive heart attack in 1955. I don't recall any panic but he survived and was easily reelected in 1956. Nixon capably ran the country while Ike was out for 6 weeks. I doubt many in the media are even aware of this. They are too busy praying for Trump to die.

I don't know of anyone who is hysterical. Maybe some democrats, and Chris Wallace, who had hopes of the worst, but now are hearing the good news...

Leftwing hatred is the reality, but it's not worth getting upset over. until they act on it, at which time it's bug-squashing time, and if the authorities continue to refuse to protect civilization, then citizens have every right to organize to protect their lives, families, livelihoods, and property. The left is waging war on civilization. Keep your powder dry.

a lone, sane voice in the washington wilderness. there have got to be some heads to roll in the near future or else the silent majority will not be silent. we love our President, with deep resolve.
