On Wednesday, the Senate held a hearing on Crossfire Hurricane and the corruption in the highest levels of the FBI which led to the Russia collusion investigation into the president based on a fake dossier and a falsified FISA warrant. Through it all, former FBI Director James Comey was a slippery son of a gun who had more memory lapses than Bill Clinton trying to remember what the word “is” is. That is, until Josh Hawley took the microphone and tore him apart like a young Perry Mason with better hair. Comey kept insisting that it wasn’t just the FISA application
Comey tried to make it all seem like it was old news, the problems all happened after he was fired, but what has been happening is information is coming out afterwards, about the steps his FBI took, and did, while he was in charge.
And, if you would also remember what Rod Rosenstein said about "putting your name on a FISA warrant" and how important it was, but Comey seems to think it was nothing more than a rubber stamp process.

Hawley is as sharp as a tack, and has a spine of high strength steel. I saw his ads when he was running in Missouri against that horrible, corrupt Claire McCaskill. He seemed good. Now I can see that he is great. What a wonderful Senator Missouri has!
Comey is a criminal and a liar and a traitor. He deserves to be in prison, probably in their psych ward, too.

Final sentence of this article: 'The only question that remains is when will our lawmakers grow a pair and refer him for prosecution so we can finally see James Comey in handcuffs for this betrayal of law and justice?' Answer: never. But hey! Making someone say they regret something criminal is almost as good as punishment. How will Comey live with his regret?

I think the fix is in, and Comey knows it.
Lindsey Graham did an excellent job regarding Justice Kavanaugh's confirmation, but I'm SOOOOOOOOO TIRED of him predicting again and again on FOX News that bad things are in store for these high-level FBI lawyers, and we just have to be patient with John Durham and his team.
I remember the number of Richard Nixon's "Watergate" cover uppers who served time in federal prisons, and their crimes were minor compared to these Russia Collusion criminals working on behalf of President Obama and Hilary Clinton. Democrats kick butt. Republicans wimp out. It's small wonder that democrats in D.C. commit these government related federal felonies year after year without any real fear of retribution.

Isn't it interesting that Comey and Hillary can't recall any thing they did when being questioned at a hearing, but remember everything including the tiniest tid bit of information for their books? I don't believe a word he said. He used the same excuse Hillary got away with when she was questioned. I can't recall. Ha. They recall enough to keep quiet or go to jail. I would like to see both of them in jail for a long time.

Lindsey puts on an excellent show on some Senate Committee whenever its reelection time. He is bought and paid for. When I see him or Cruz actually discuss the standard Comey should be held to - JAIL - then I will be impressed.

Thank you Senator Hawley for making Comey squirm on his seat. Missouri really improved the quality of the Senate when they got rid of Claire McCaskell and sent in Josh Hawley. He is VERY impressive.

Did anyone bother to ask the Santimonious Cardinal Comey about his stage show in New York a couple years ago where he boasted how he took advantage of the new Trump administration and just sent a couple FBI coup plotters in to interview Gen Flynn with the intention to set a perjury trap?
I guess not.
He forgets the first rule of coup d'etat. If your goal is to kill the King, be sure you kill the King.
And he's written the second rule: Don't put your coup plans on paper (or electronic media) or brag about it in public, especially when rule 1 has not been achieved.

Hawley is an excellent Senator, and a future presidential prospect, as is Cotton of Arkansas.
The problem is that a weasel like Sasse will have more public appeal.
As for the FISA itself, there was a reason to require the FBI director to sign off on a warrant application. It is a serious matter to spy on an American citizen, much less spy on a presidential campaign.
Comey is beneath contempt.

Thanks, #12 for that great name: ''Santimonious Cardinal Comey.'' I'll probably say it in my sleep tonight and wake myself laughing!
