The Trump campaign said Democrat Joseph R. Biden refused their request to have a third party inspect his ears for electronic devices prior to Tuesday night’s first presidential debate. “Joe Biden’s handlers several days ago agreed to a pre-debate inspection for electronic earpieces but today abruptly reversed themselves and declined,” said Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh. He also said Mr. Biden’s handlers asked for “multiple breaks during the debate, which Mr. Trump doesn’t need. “We have rejected that request,” Mr. Murtaugh said. He accused Mr. Biden of looking for help in the highly anticipated debate, which starts in Cleveland, Ohio

Who is surprised by this? Next thing we will learn that Sleepy Joe has the vapors and must take to his fainting couch instead of debating the President.

Trump's people should get a frequency analyzer. look for a transmitter and then overpower it with gobbledygook and see if Biden repeats it.

Sounds like a good plan #3.

Surely the Trump campaign can come up with a scrambling device suitable for interrupting an earpiece signal?
Or even better, intercept and commandeer the signal, and feed goofy answers to Biden!

Seems like if he has something to hide of course he will reject the request. Turn the Secret Service loose.

How close would the transmitter have to be? I like the jamming idea with a catch; make it squeel so that Biden has to jerk it out on live television!

Somebody with a good camera will be able to see it if he has one. They alert Trump and Trump stops the debate until Bite Me removes his listening device. Otherwise, turn on and leave on a radio frequency jammer to block Bite Me from getting queues and words to say from his minders.

I keep thinking of the agents in the Matrix that have to be connected through their earpiece to the mainframe. When Agent Smith is destroyed by Neo and they are both transformed into hybrids he no longer needs his earpiece and sends it to Neo with a thank you note. Maybe Trump is like Neo and has freed Agent Biden from needing his earpiece.
The Secret Service is pretty adamant about scanning anyone who gets close to the President with a metal detector so I don't think Biden would risk putting a magnet in his ear and getting busted.

Many hearing aids (like mine) can be bluetooth-enabled with a cell phone. My guess is Sleepy Uncle Joe hasn't figured out how to make his work ... me neither, by the way. But he's got handlers who can do it.

And, now you can see why he also needs a break after 30 minutes. He needs to be re-prepped.

I’ve been thinking about this eventuality and here it is. This should be broadcast far and wide on all the MSM outlets - the alphabets, CNN, MSNBC, the works.
Let people make up their own minds. The hardcore (D)s will close their eyes and ears, but the Undecideds (if there are any) and the wobbly Dems may just pay attention to this. Flagrant!

Common Invisible-in-Canal hearing aids with wireless remote microphones work at 900MHz. That should be good for up to 1,500 ft. There is no way to see these things with a photograph. Since they are completely in the ear canal you need to get close and shine a light into the canal.
That's typical off-the-shelf ($3,600) devices. With some real money you could get something custom made that was far more impressive.
Remember "trust but verify"? If they won't let you verify, why the hell would you trust?

I don't think Trump is really worried about an in the receiver but requested it to counter any Biden demands plus sow distrust. I suspect additional voices in Biden ear would confuse Joe more than help unless his team used it only to help him regain his train of thought if he has one of those "blank: moments.
The breaks requested could give Joe the pee break needed if there is any truth to the dementia drugs causing an increased need. The breaks would also shorten the actual debate time by 25% or so reducing his odds of a major screw up.

Joe Biden might have Sundowning Syndrome -- yes, it's a real thing. Many Alzheimer's patients can function early in the day, but degrade later in the day. That's why Biden usually quits campaigning before noon. I have to wonder what kind of shape he'll be in when he's debating at 7:30 tonight.
And has anyone else noticed how hostile Joe has become? That's another common symptom of Alzheimer's. In fact, patients often become hostile AND violent. That was the case with the late Glen Campbell, who repeatedly attacked his wife as his condition worsened. Consequently, if Joe gets angered tonight, there's a strong possibility that he might actually physically attack President Trump!

I’ve been saying this for a while but I’ll repeat it again - an earpiece would be a disaster for Fingers. He can’t even read a teleprompter so how is he going to talk and listen to his earpiece at the same time? He’s have to stand there staring off into space with his index finger in the “wait a sec” position while he listens to the answer and then he would have to try to repeat it. If PDT were to start talking to him at the same time, Fingers would go over the edge. I have a sister in law with early onset Alzheimer’s and she can’t deal with trying to talk to more than one person at a time.

Very doable, #3.
I have an alternative suggestion. Find the frequency and pump out a very loud upper frequency squeal on their frequency. He'll take that little thing out FAST.

OF COURSE HE DOES!!!!!!!! (Objects.) All we need is Biden being FED answers, or prompted as to what he memorized. As to the breaks, if he can't stand up to an hour an a half on his feet, he should not be running. Plus, that is a great time to be prepped by his crew as well. ( Limbaugh today voiced what I was thinking, by the way, re: these early "lids" on the Biden campaign...I would not be surprised if his campaign was trying to re-work his internal clock in the same way people traveling through time zones on planes often do, particularly since people with acuity problems are worse at night. Wouldn't put it past them.)

Using an earpiece would be of very little help to hapless Biden. Only "key word talking points" while the President is talking would be of any help. He'd probably forget most of them by his next time to speak. He'd be a total loss trying to hear anything helpful while he's speaking except perhaps instructions such as "slow down" or "don't forget X (or Y)" etc. More than key words words through his earpiece would cause his to lose his thought in the middle of a sentence. Heck, sometimes he can't complete the point he's trying to make when he's reading his teleprompter.

Joe can't talk and blink at the same time let alone talk and listen. Matter of fact he can't listen and listen at the same time. If I had the slightest bit of sympathy for the demented corrupt ignorant SOB I would not pay any attention to "THE DEBATES" Actually come to think of it my sock drawer needs sorting.

He won't be using an earpiece. It would just further jumble his thoughts. Denying the ear inspection is just a diversion from the real thing, which would be a drug test. He will be pumped full of amphetamines and tranquillisers, designed to keep him coherent and focused for two hours. It worked for his very short acceptance speech, but we'll see whether it can get him through 90 minutes.

#16, I have digital hearing aids, both ears, thanks to the VA. I need them, in part, due to spending too much time on the flight line, and spending too much time waterfowl hunting.
Sometimes, when I am walking through a parking lot, my hearing aids get re-set because someone near me is using a remote to open their car door.
It would be comical to see Jo's face tonight, should something like that happen to him.

Biden will be on Adderall tonight. They want the breaks to get him further hopped up. It does increase sharpness and focus. It'll be interesting. Biden looks so dazed because he's squinting as he's reading off the teleprompter hence they put the aviator sunglasses on so you can't noticed.
