Chris Wallace, the host of “Fox News Sunday” and moderator of the first presidential debate between President Trump and Joe Biden, said that he hopes to remain as “invisible as possible” during their faceoff on Tuesday in Cleveland, Ohio. “I’m trying to get them to engage…to focus on the key issues…to give people at home a sense of why they want to vote for one versus the other,” he said. “If I’ve done my job right, at the end of the night, people will say, ‘That was a great debate, who was the moderator?’”

I'll tell Chris how to be "as invisible as possible"........don't show up with that smirk on your face and try to help Biden get through this ordeal !!!! We all know which way Wallace leans and he certainly isn't going to allow Trump to be at his best. My first question to Wallace would be " has Biden been fed the questions so his teleprompter can be programmed with the answers before the meeting''.

Almost as invisible as Biden’s ear pieces he will have for getting answers?

I don't think Biden is going to show up anyway so what difference does it make?

I'm going to watch (the demeanor and tricks) of Chrissy "little dweeb" Wallace at least as closely as watching the words and actions of Biden and President Trump. Wallace is a sneaky anti-Trumper and he'll attempt to be coy. Viewers should notice how many times Chrissy says his snarky, dismissive and condescending "but sir, but sir" to the President.

Hack into Joe's earpiece feed with a 90 decibel squeal and the ensuing gibberish will be epic comedy!

More and more Americans are realizing that "liberals" always lie... saying he wants to invisible means he wants to be the center of attention. He prides himself on being a great moderator... but we see his extreme bias... which exposes his lack of understanding, wisdom, patriotism. Come to think of it, he is poster boy for the Democrat(ick) Party.

This would be a great for Chris Wallace if he can pull it off. He would immediately rise to the top of the heap. I doubt that he can. He cannot stand Trump as evident with his past words and actions. There are no middle of the road journalists anymore. Nobody sits on top of the fence. To the democrats, you are either with us or you become the enemy!

Maria, on Fox Business, reported that Chris Wallace WILL NOT include anything about China in the debate!
This is nothing but blatant bias, because China is a weak issue for Biden, and a strong issue for President Trump.
Wallace is a smarmy, mealy-mouthed excuse for a journalist. He has no business moderating a debate!

No doubt Wallace is a Democrat, so you should know what to expect him to try to do during the debate, and being invisible is not one of them!

Fortunately DJT is perfectly capable and willing to inject any subject he wants to into his answers, whether Wallace asked about it or not. I'm expecting several "unexpected" zingers directed at Biden's numerous weaknesses.

But the worst part of the whole thing is that this will be the closest Pres Trump gets to a fair shake from a moderator.
They may as well have Jill Biden moderate the rest of the debates. I believe one of the moderators was a former intern for Joe Biden.

If you really mean that, Chrissy boy, STAY HOME, claim Covid 19 exposure or some other convenient lie, and recommend Leo Terrell as your replacement! Terrell's "fire in the belly" is still blazing brightly.

I love #6's comment. Where is Candy Crowley? When she spoke, it sounded like she had a mouth full of marbles.
