Tom Ridge, a former Republican governor of Pennsylvania and first U.S. secretary of Homeland Security, plans to vote for Trump’s Democratic opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, he announced on social media Sunday morning. This also will be the first time Ridge has ever voted Democratic in a U.S. presidential election, he told The Philadelphia Inquirer in an opinion column. “It’s time to put country over party. It’s time to dismiss Donald Trump,” he posted on Twitter.(Snip) Ridge currently serves as the chairman of Ridge Global, which provides clients with solutions to cyber security, international security and risk management issues. Donald Trump probably put a big dent in this joker's income stream by quelling international and domestic strife, in particular by halting the wholesale importation of the young Muslim males likely to commit acts of terror on our streets, in sharp contrast to Ridge's hero Dubya.

This guy is a true swamp dweller. He really thinks that Biden, embracing all the Chinese money he can get his arms around, is somehow superior to Trump, a true American who values our country and all of us lowly, putrid Americans, makes him as somebody we'd listen to... Another useful idiot, Never Trump, Bush variant. I would have some respect if they said they simply couldn't support Trump. I would think them foolish but people are allowed to be fools. However, people that think the dems are a good choice, now or back in 2016 are dangerously misguided. Trump dissed the Bushies and they will never forgive him for it. That's OK. We are better off without them. Trump has accomplished far more and far better in one term than the 3 terms of Bushes.

Meanwhile, thousands and thousands of Democrats, including minority Citizens, are leaving the Dem Party and coming over to the Conservative/Republican side, "walking away", having started to THINK. Many are fleeing the wasteland of the Left. I'll quote Leo Tyrrell, a civil rights attorney, lately of the Left, who just within the last couple of months quit the Party. He said on Judge Jeanine's show last night, "There's so much hate on the Left. So much hate. I had to get out. So I escaped the asylum. And I'm NOT going back!!!" He's an eager Trump supporter. It's amazing to see the transformation in people when they actually start to think. Candace Owens, is another. There are many stellar examples of people having gone through a thought-process. ratiocination. As for Ridge, well, as of this moment, it's still a free country. He can choose a man who has a closetful of masks, suitable for whatever interest group he is meeting. He is, as we know, a practiced liar. He lies all the time. It's pathological. So Ridge apparently thinks that's a pretty good trait.

Maybe this is a good sign. We always wanted republicans who stood for certain values... really stood for them... and hoped to either shake the party into honoring its values or entertained the thought of leaving it for a new, conservative, party. Trump has remade the party. Its conservative now. Trade, taxes, regulations, jobs, treatment of enemies, calling on friends to honor commitments...all changed. Oh, please. As a Pennsylvania resident, Tom Ridge was probably the most ineffectual GOP governor we've ever had. The thing to remember about Pennsylvania politics is that the GOPes at the top are only in their positions because the equivalent ones on the Democrat side are filled. They are practically Democrats anyway and he may as well make it official. No one really cares what Tom Ridge thinks or his virtue-signaling vote. With 24 hours having passed since the first presidential debate, it’s becoming clear that Trump won in a big way. It wasn’t an apparent victory, but it was a real one: He showed his base and ordinary Americans that he will always fight while forcing Biden to disavow both his hard-left base and the last of the old-fashioned Democrats who still support him Don’t pay too much attention to the pessimistic pundits. The worriers worried, the haters hated, the ambivalent were ambivalent, the cheerleaders cheered. Personality may not be destiny, but it determines post-debates reviews.

Fox News’ John Roberts lost his composure during a report on Fox News Thursday morning, attacking those on Twitter who criticized him for the way he asked White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany about the president’s stance on white supremacy. (Tweet/Video) “For all of you on Twitter who are hammering me for answering that — for asking that question, I don’t care! Because it’s a question that needs to be asked.”In the White House press briefing moments before, Roberts asked McEnany — three times — whether the president denounced white supremacy, and appeared not to accept yes for an answer.Roberts first asked “for a definitive and declarative statement,

The next presidential debate may give moderator Steve Scully the ability to turn off Donald Trump's microphone but some fear that won't stop the president from interrupting and talking over Joe Biden like he did in their first meeting. The two candidates will face each other next on October 15 in Miami for a town-hall style debate moderated by the C-SPAN host. The rules of engagement will be different at that meeting, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Wednesday, in an attempt to curb the chaos from Tuesday night's debate, which was compared to a dumpster fire.

The wife of a Massachusetts transit police officer who was injured in the manhunt for the Boston Marathon bombers accused Joe Biden of touching her inappropriately and making a suggestive comment in 2014. In two Facebook posts, one of which has since been deleted, Kim Donohue alleged that during a remembrance ceremony in Boston, a year after the April 2013 deadly bombing, then-Vice President Biden began "rubbing" her lower back. "Look at those eyes, where did you get those eyes?" Donohue wrote. "Anyone else as good looking as you in that family ... those eyes are mesmerizing, people must just do whatever you say."
