Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has moved the entire state into phase three of the COVID-19 recovery plan. All restrictions against restaurants and businesses are removed by executive order [HERE] and all local mask ordinances are nullified by the same order.
♦ No COVID ordinance may forbid or impede any business from operating.
♦ No COVID ordinance may forbid restaurants to operate below 50% capacity. Any local ordinances against these operational thresholds are nullified.
♦ No local mask ordinances shall carry any weight of enforcement.
♦ No COVID Fines or Penalties may be applied toward any individual or business operating in the State of Florida. (executive order)

As one man once said, "Free at last, free at last. Good God Almighty, free at last!"
Survival rate for under 20 it 99.996%. Survival for under 70 is about 99.5%. Pneumonia kills about 14% and nobody freaks out about it. Ebola kills 50%. This is NOT airborn Ebola, or even remotely close.
The continuous freakout is "200,000 dead".....but 70,000 dead in a slightly worse than normal annual flu season, which has happened a number of times doesn't get a mention in the news, and our freedoms have been normally left untouched. This is political theater as much as a real health emergency.

Here in NC, we hope Cooper gets his backside handed to him in a basket come November! We are sooooo tired of him coming to his pulpit and announcing things like "You are now granted the ability to hold church services at 16% of capacity". There is no law to back him, only his pious decrees formed of guesswork and the advice of fauci-like 'experts'. Never in my life would I have guessed that Americans would so willingly give up their constitutional rights!

Ron DeSantis is a great governor. We dodged a bullet when a lot of idiots voted for Gillum.

In 3,2,1... the media will be laser focused on case numbers in FL. They’ll be weeping about all the deaths the governor is responsible for in the state. All the while proclaiming assclown Cuomo as the savior of the world.
Thankfully, DeSantis couldn’t care less what the media has to say.
God bless him.

Edwards in Louisiana publicly stated that he wasn't "giving up my power!" Hope the recall works, tax & spend Edwards needs to go.

This may portend good news for our family. More than a year we booked a cruise out of Miami, to start the 1st week of November. The cruise line long ago cancelled all Miami port cruises out to October 31. As the days go by we are increasingly more confident that we'll be cruising this November.

The dems here are already complaining that it is way to soon. No one is forcing them to give up masks and distancing, or any of the other precautions they want to take. Stores will still be free to require masks if they wish, but politicians can't demand we wear them.
Some other states could use a governor like ours.

Watch the Democrats pump out fake data, lies, damn lies, and statistics to "prove" DeSantis is killing thousands with his reckless order.

But my superstitious peasant Gov in NY is still scaring people, threatening their livelihoods, and stealing their taxes over this.

That's nice. Just in time for the election.
I would have preferred to see just one of our elected leaders stand up and say 'no' to the lockdown and the panic. During a panic is when we need leadership the most. Nobody stepped forward.
60 million filed for unemployment. Thousands of businesses closed their doors permanently. All for a bug that was the equivalent of a bad flu season.
They should all be fired, but we don't have that luxury. De Santis is better than any Democrat, but that's not saying much. We need real leaders, and we don't have any.

I’m hostage and under house arrest in Crazyfornia by our Marxist Dick-tater Gavin Nutcase Newsolinni. The nephew of Fancy Nancy where wearing a mask is mandated by the Ruling Class of Limousine Liberals and does not apply to them. Must be great to be in Florida!!!

Here in Kansas, I have been eating in restaurants several times a week for many months. Some badly run, cowardly restaurants have been staying closed, others have opened up, tentatively at first, but now a lot of them are open.

OK, McMaster, it’s way past time to do the same in SC. Tell the leftist idiot mayor of Charleston to stick his mask mandate up his nether regions. I no longer shop downtown due to being forced to wear a mask even when walking outside alone.

I'm leaving Wednesday for a month long stay on the Gulf Coast. Would have worn a mask if I had to but this is great.
