During a recent trip to southern Georgia to visit family, my wife described the area as “Trump Country.” Her observation was spurred by the numerous Trump billboards and intersections overflowing with Trump lawn signs.
The sheer volume of signs surprised me. While I’m certainly not a political junkie, I know enough about regional demographics to assume the southern part of Georgia leans Republican. So why would Donald Trump spend money on billboards in a part of the country that was already solidly his? Why did intersections look like flower beds full of re-electing Donald Trump signs? After all, those suckers are $20 a pop.

Maybe Trump didn’t pay for any of that. Perhaps groups of people did it..

Allow me to boil this down. All the Trump signs are being replaced to make you think that he's more popular than you think, because in reality, he doesnt have that much support.
Riddle me this then. Trump shows up in a blue state to throngs of supporters. Biden shows up the following day to the same location and his supporters are out numbered by Trump supporters. Biden reads from a teleprompter to an empty room, Trump has standing room only crowds. 8 Biden supporters show up. People wait in line for days for Trump.

93% of the base is with him. It takes an idiot from Duke not too understand that the base in those Republican counties are energized to vote Trump. People love their signs to let everyone know they are with Trump. There is no energy for a corrupt demented pedo who has no idea how many people are affected in the middle of a pandemic or what town he is in.

President Trump's mastery of business is the least of Joe Biden's worries.

Biden's ''biggest obstacle'' has nothing to do with Donald Trump. Biden's biggest obstacle is Biden's perfidy and his filthy-money-hungry family. Every one of them (with the possible exception of the sainted Beau). Did Aaron Dinin grow up thinking that those who can make a better way through life OWE to those who didn't make the same choices? PS. No. 9!

A Duke University egghead (I wonder if he was one of the Duke faculty who signed the hasty broadside condemning the falsely accused lacrosse players), he's tying to think his way around the obvious.
From the article, "[Trump] has to convince his base that everyone else is still voting for him despite what they know."
Everybody knows what? That Trump is losing support? The walls are closing in?
To very loosely paraphrase Conan the Barbarian's definition of what is good in life, "to watch your political opponents try to think their way out of a hole in the ground."

Biden has so many obstacles in his path that it amazes me he can get from his bed to the coffee pot in the morning. Oh wait, he has Jill for that.

Trump is apparently in deep, deep trouble. I recently drive down from Wisconsin to Texas. Everywhere along the way I saw Trump signs, flags, decorated vehicles, painted buildings...everywhere. (The billboards I saw did not appear to be official Trump advertisement.) Biden, on the other hand, has this thing apparently won...I could count the number of signs on one hand...no more than two. He must be heading up that Silent Majority we hear about.

I live in a small Rust Belt city. I drive through the inner city weekly. There are usually signs for the Democrat candidate in elections past. I have seen one for Biden this time. Not a good showing. The most enthusiasm I have seen for Biden is in the middle class homes surrounding Butler University in Indianapolis. All Biden. Several other similar areas in similar Midwest cities didn’t show the same enthusiasm. Rural areas - all Trump. Observations from my travels.

The author makes a lot of unfounded assumptions, but he's correct about one thing, though - it's easier to keep a customer than win a new one. Keeping promises means Donald Trump's 2016 supporters are not budging, billboards notwithstanding. Instead, he will pick up a lot of voters who the Democrat party are driving off. Include in that hoard a lot of blacks, union rank and file, women and Latinos.

This is a wonderful whistling-past-the-graveyard piece.
The signs couldn't possible be an indication of strong Trump support. No, Trump must have bought the signs to create an illusion of strong support. What pathetic reasoning. This is like saying that seeing all the signs of support for a local sports team could not have possibly been bought by the fans. They were bought by the team to give the impression of popularity.
"in 2016. Traditional Republicans and swing voters who may have been concerned about Trump’s unusual candidacy could feel more comfortable voting for him simply because the Trump campaign did a great job projecting a sense of enthusiasm."
Sure but the YUGE reason was that the only other choice was Hillary the Horrible. Only Never Trump "Republicans" voted for Hillary.
"In 2020, Trump’s strategy is a little different. He’s more of a known entity than he was in 2016, so he has to convince his base that everyone else is still voting for him despite what they know."
Duh, there is no "despite". We are voting for him because of what he has ACCOMPLISHED. He has achieved greatly for the Country at large but also for Conservatives. We are about to see the 3rd Conservative justice appointed to the SCOTUS. Any other Republican as president would have been cowed by the dems/media/Left into waiting for the next president. We have ISIS destroyed. We have Iran on the ropes. We have Middle East peace prospects. We have lower taxes. We have less regulation. We have immigration somewhat controlled. We have BO's mandated healthcare penalty removed.
Unlike the beliefs of this delusional liberal author, we are EAGER to vote for Trump. In my area there are few Trump sign because we don't want our cars and homes vandalized by the loony Leftists. We don't answer the rigged poll calls. We are waiting for Nov. 3rd to vote and win.
"Biden’s biggest obstacle to the presidency. He’s not just trying to convince 2016 Trump voters he’s the better option."
Biden's biggest obstacle to being elected is trying to convince the voters that he is a viable product instead of dem vaporware. He doesn't have small crowds. He has NO crowds, only a few tightly managed reporters. Joe can't speak without a teleprompter and even then staggers, mumbles, and stares into space like he has no clue as to why he is there.
This is an example of the liberal mind struggling to understand how the terrible Trump has beaten them so decisively. The reality that the dems are incompetent fools that hate this country and Trump is an accomplished President that loves this Country seems to completely elude them.

#9: Biden's difficulty getting to his coffee pot through all the AM obstacles is the reason his campaign announces so early in the day that he would have no scheduled events for the rest of that day; getting to the coffee pot (or any other pot for that matter) just plum tuckers him out.

I bought a "Trump 2020" baseball cap for $20 back in February at a truck stop off of I-40. Paid for it myself. Been wearing it ever since. If Trump wins in November, I'm going to an embroidery shop and have them change it to "Trump 2024" just to annoy people like the author of this article.

The writer of this article is so liberal he will never be able to comprehend that we didn't vote because of ho Trump sold himself, but we voted for what he was selling. I for one am voting for him again, not despite what I have learned, but because I love what I have learned about him.

Yes. Something big that no one - not even the Dems - talks about. All they could say, when he ran, was that he was a reality show star, a Washington outsder (a GOOD thing!). And point their evil fingers at a few business reorganizations under Chapter 11 of the bankruptcy law. The reorganization that is only granted by the court when a business has a chance to come back to life. The reorganization that doesn’t shut the doors, fire everyone and let everyone down. But even some here don’t know that so how would the Dems and the media?
Biden has been at the public trough for ever. And at the other one that gives him, by corrupt means, access to wealth beyond anything he would ever earn in the Senate or even as a VP.
Trump donates all of his $400,000 annual salary back to government entities. Can you imagine any Democrat - any other Republican - doing that?

I saw a joke somewhere that mentioned signs. It said if the signs out there are accurate, Biden comes in third place. First place is Trump and Garage Sale is in second place. 😀.
