Perhaps that book wasn’t such a great idea? John Bolton is now officially under DOJ investigation for possibly leaking classified information in his recent tell-all publication. The book made news by making several big unsubstantiated claims aimed at hurting President Trump. The media obviously salivated over Bolton because he was targeting the right person, though they once treated him as the root of all evil and a disgusting warmonger. But Trump has a way of rehabilitating anyone’s image. Now, Bolton may be rethinking whether all those plaudits were worth it. [Tweet] On Tuesday, The New York Times reported that the Justice Department has opened a criminal investigation

That's nice but we have real criminals running around loose with stolen money, classified data on computers in unsecured e-mail and paying terrorist countries billions of dollars in cash, not to mention being responsible for murders and the DOJ is sitting idle on those cases hoping we just forget them.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Wild winds wreaked havoc in Albuquerque, New Mexico during a recent storm. Trees were pulled up from the roots, power went out for thousands — and a port-a-potty was seen blowing down the road. Wait. What? A viewer from sister station KOAT caught the spectacle on camera. The port-a-potty was seen blowing down the street on Sept. 8. At this time, there is no word on where the port-a-potty came from. No injuries were reported, but there’s no word on what kind of mess it made when it finally came to a stop. Watch the video to see it for yourself.

On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump took part in a town hall event produced by ABC News’ “20/20” program called “The President and the People,” which featured undecided voters from across the commonwealth of Pennsylvania asking the president questions. Towards the end of the 90-minute special, a young woman rose from the audience to ask her question — and the way Pres. Trump answered her destroys any narrative the Left could conjure that calls him uncaring or a racist. Host George Stephanopoulos introduced her this way: “The next one comes Flora [sic] Cruceta. She’s from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She has not voted before because she just became a citizen.

The Democrat-controlled Minneapolis City Council is reportedly panicking as violent crime is surging throughout the city after they called for defunding the police department following the death of George Floyd in late May. During a two-hour Minneapolis City Council meeting on police reform, “council members told police Chief Medaria Arradondo that their constituents are seeing and hearing street racing which sometimes results in crashes, brazen daylight carjackings, robberies, assaults and shootings,” MPR News reported. “The number of reported violent crimes, like assaults, robberies and homicides are up compared to 2019, according to MPD crime data.

County officials in New Jersey tallied more than 1,600 uncounted ballots from the state’s July primary after finding them in a bin last Thursday. The votes were reportedly placed in a “mislabeled” bin in a “secure area” of the county election office, according to the New Jersey Herald. Sussex County Board of Elections Administrator Marge McCabe maintained that the 1,666 extra votes did not change the outcome of the July 7 primary race. “The Board of Elections is confident that all ballots received have been processed and the security of all the ballots has remained in place,” she said. The Trump campaign has been tussling in court with New Jersey since August

The Department of Homeland Security is requesting that House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff narrow the scope of his now-expanded probe into the agency’s response to police brutality protests this summer, arguing the investigation had become unreasonably broad. In a letter dated Monday obtained by The Post, Beth Spivey, assistant secretary for DHS’ legislative affairs office, rejected a request from Schiff (D-Calif.) for 11 new interviews with department officials and slammed the investigation as a whole. “Your letter, which was transmitted on a Friday afternoon, demands that witnesses who have previously agreed to come before you on a separate narrowly scoped matter this week now be prepared to answer questions —

77-year-old Joe Biden on Tuesday made no sense during his roundtable event with veterans in Tampa, Florida. Biden wore a mask while he spoke even though only 6 others participated and they were all several feet away from each other. At one point Biden began to ramble about the ladies department…you know, the thing! “Cause if you could take care, if you were a quartermaster, you can sure in hell take care runnin’ a, you know, a department store uh, thing, you know, where, in the second floor of the ladies department or whatever, you know what I mean?” Biden said. Joe Biden traveled to Florida on Tuesday to pander to the Latino community as he loses support from Hispanic voters. Biden traveled to Kissimmee after holding a disaster roundtable event with veterans in Tampa. Ricky Martin and Eva Longoria were at the Kissimmee event desperately trying to help Biden connect to the Latino community as the former VP arrived almost two hours late for his speech. Then this happened… After being introduced by Puerto Rican-American singer Luis Fonsi, Joe Biden pulled out his phone and started playing Despacito ahead of his remarks kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month. “Despacito” means “slowly” — perfect for Slow Joe!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defended how she has handled her relationship with President Trump — after it was pointed out that the two leaders haven’t spoken in almost a year amid mounting crises. Speaking to MSNBC’s Craig Melvin on Monday, Pelosi (D-Calif.) faced pushback after repeatedly saying “Forget him” while answering a question about countering the commander-in-chief’s rhetoric and narrative. Melvin noted to the nation’s highest elected Democrat that, “with all due respect, you just said, ‘Forget him.'” “Yeah, forget him,” she responded. The MSNBC host then asked if she and the president had “just stopped talking? Is that where we are?” “You haven’t talked to him about the wildfires,

Within a very short time, we knew a lot about the Compton shooting of two deputies. We knew that witnesses to the shooting celebrated and did nothing to help; that Black Lives Matter descended on the hospital, hoped for the deputies' deaths, tried to storm the Emergency Department, and blocked ambulances; and that no one in the Democrat party, from Biden down, called out Black Lives Matter for fomenting this anti-police terrorism, with some actually supporting it. What we did not know until today was that the female deputy showed extraordinary presence of mind, competence, and courage. There were two deputies in the car,

Part of what kept the Jacob Blake frenzy alive on the left was the fact that he did not have a gun. The media and their paramilitary fighters on the street imply that the fact that Blake had a knife was inconsequential. To them, he was unarmed. The same thing is happening with Ricardo Munoz's death in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. A police officer shot Munoz when the latter came after him with a knife. In reality, close-contact knife attacks are horrific and are just as deadly as bullets from afar. The facts are uncontested: the police got a call from Munoz's family

We’ve seen what a train wreck it is just to have Joe Biden do simple things like give a speech or answer questions in an interview. He even appears to need a teleprompter to do softball interviews with James Corden, as we reported. His team has refused to answer questions about his use of a teleprompter and they evaded the question yet again, instead claiming he is “out there everyday, taking questions” which in fact is not the case. [Video] He’s largely avoided taking questions except for a couple of softball questions over the course of the whole week, hardly taking questions “everyday.”

Has the 19th-century German composer Ludwig van Beethoven become a modern symbol of "exclusion and elitism" for rich, white men? In an article published by Vox on Tuesday that quoted New York Philharmonic clarinetist Anthony McGill, writers Nate Sloan and Charlie Harding argued that the work has been propped up by white, wealthy men, whose embrace of the musical composition stood as a symbol of "their superiority and importance." "For others — women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color — Beethoven’s symphony is predominantly a reminder of classical music’s history of exclusion and elitism," Sloan and Harding wrote. The writers suggested

Does Jesus want you to own a gun? It’s a question Richard Berry said he wrestled with for years, unsure of how to match his Christian faith with his appreciation for firearms and self-defense. A native of Olathe, Kansas, he told Religion News Service he began grappling with the issue of God and guns in earnest following a 2017 shooting incident near his house. In February of that year, Srinivas Kuchibhotla and Alok Madasani, both Indian, were enjoying after-work drinks at Austins Bar and Grill when a man named Adam Purinton began to yell and pepper them with questions about

Approximately 150 pregnant Black and Pacific Islander women in San Francisco will receive a $1,000 monthly supplement during their pregnancies and for the first six months of their babies' lives, the city's mayor announced. Mayor London Breed's (D) office said on Monday that the Abundant Birth Project is the first of its kind in the country. The project's goal is to eventually provide a supplement for as long as two years post-pregnancy. “Providing guaranteed income support to mothers during pregnancy is an innovative and equitable approach that will ease some of the financial stress that all too often keeps women from being able to put their health first,” Breed said.

Things got extremely awkward on Fox News panel show Outnumbered on Wednesday after former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich tied billionaire financier George Soros—often the focus of anti-Semitic tropes—to violence in cities, prompting the show’s co-hosts to directly confront him on why he was invoking the liberal philanthropist. Towards the end of a discussion on the property damage that’s been caused by violent protests over police brutality, Gingrich—who is now a Fox News contributor—insisted that the real issue was with local elected leaders.

By now, it’s the worst kept secret in the world that Joe Biden is having cognitive difficulties. (snip) Rush Limbaugh, however, has noticed another piece in the puzzle, and this one yields to empirical evidence rather than first-hand knowledge. This is the fact that, other than the long-ago Democrat debates and his acceptance speech (which may have been live, rather than prerecorded), Biden is never seen at night. Portland Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler recently issued a ban on the troubled city's police department from using CS gas (also called tear gas) on demonstrators. Every night for the past four months, police officers in Portland have come face-to-face with protestors and rioters demonstrating in favor of racial justice and police reform.
