Sen. Ed Markey said Monday that U.S. police officers must uniformly be disarmed of "weapons of war," which according to the senator, include "tear gas, rubber and plastic bullets, and bean bag rounds." Portland Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler recently issued a ban on the troubled city's police department from using CS gas (also called tear gas) on demonstrators. Every night for the past four months, police officers in Portland have come face-to-face with protestors and rioters demonstrating in favor of racial justice and police reform. Often the clashes have become violent and have been connected to several deaths.

I live in Ma. We have the fake Liz Warren for one of our senators and Ed Markey is the other. Both are morons. Markey has tied himself to AOC. Warren is a Bernie Sanders girl. Both hate the police, Pres. Trump, and the American way of life. It's a sad situation here Ma. We have become a one party state. Democrats have no fear because there are so few Republicans to challenge them. I pray that folks here will finally wake up and vote them out.

Markey swore an oath to protect the public. Statements like this prove he is not. If people were smart and paying attention, Markey would be sent packing. Its a matter of public safety folks. We have to get rid of 'leaders' like this. They do not care about us. All they care about are themselves, and their big-money donors that they work for.

Tear gas, rubber bullets, bean bag rounds are polite weapons against the property destroyers Mr. Malarkey (sic). I suggest a FMJ 30 caliber round traveling at 2,800 fps (feet per second) would put a stop to the street violence very quickly and send them home or to the graveyard.

Media Pushes Unverified Gossip To Hide Trump’s
Amazing Economic And Foreign Policy Achievements

The Democrat-media complex has a new mission: to distract our attention from President Trump’s incredible—and I mean incredible—progress on both economic and foreign policy. The Bureau of Labor Statistics recently announced another historic month of job growth as the economy added 1.4 million jobs in August. It was the fourth-best month of job growth on record dating back to 1939 (and likely ever), beaten out only by the preceding three months. As a result, the country’s unemployment rate dropped to 8.4 percent from its post-pandemic high of 14.7 percent. Recall that in April the Congressional Budget Office forecast a 16 percent unemployment rate for the third quarter.

“Any number of federal constitutional and statutory provisions reflect the proposition that, in this country, we determine guilt or innocence individually—rather than collectively, based on one’s identification with some demographic group,” wrote U.S. Appeals Court Judge Raymond Kethledge in a late June opinion. “That principle has not always been perfectly realized in our Nation’s history, but as judges it is one that we take an oath to enforce.” Kethledge’s words revived a lawsuit filed by an Oberlin College student who claimed that his school had unfairly found him guilty of sexual misconduct. Over a 100-day period this summer, four appeals courts, including the Sixth Circuit

The truth is that the Corvette's closest competitor from Porsche's lineup hasn't been the 911 for some time. According to Rasmussen, President Trump’s job approval rating stands at 51 percent. That’s about where it’s been since late August, and it’s a rating that, one expects, would carry an incumbent president to re-election, especially against a relatively weak opponent like Joe Biden. It’s similar to Barack Obama’s approval rating just before he won in 2016. But what about other surveys? Fox News, in a survey that’s several days older than Rasmussen’s, finds that 48 approve of Trump’s performance, while 51 percent disapprove. The Hill, in a survey taken at around the same time as Fox’s, found that 47 approve and 53 percent disapprove.

Has the 19th-century German composer Ludwig van Beethoven become a modern symbol of "exclusion and elitism" for rich, white men? In an article published by Vox on Tuesday that quoted New York Philharmonic clarinetist Anthony McGill, writers Nate Sloan and Charlie Harding argued that the work has been propped up by white, wealthy men, whose embrace of the musical composition stood as a symbol of "their superiority and importance." "For others — women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color — Beethoven’s symphony is predominantly a reminder of classical music’s history of exclusion and elitism," Sloan and Harding wrote.
