SJW's need to be reminded that slaveholder George Washington's image is on quarters and dollar bills so they can't use them, and Jefferson is on the nickel so they can't use that and Jackson is on the 20 so they can't use them and Los Angeles is named after the Virgin Mary (of the angels) and people who live in Seattle can't say they live in the state of Washington, etc. Where will all this end? They will never be happy. Such a sad way to live knowing you will be triggered in some way every day of your life.

FTA: "...[I]t is the prerogative of the present to look back on the past. However the Woke movement will be judged by history as well when it too is past. One day its own towers, utterances and actions will be examined to see if they caused distress." A half century ago what we now call racism was called ethnocentrism in critical race theory tracts. Sociologist Dr. Robert Bierstedt of University of Virginia coined the term temporocentrism, the (my restatement of the definition) malperception by one era of another era, usually failing to take into account historical arcs. Antifa is nothing if not fascist, and BLM is nothing if not racist--just as virulently so as the Klan, Skinheads, the Fruit of Islam, or any other garden variety of rainbow colored racists with inferiority complexes and a hankering to get some payback. In fact, the only way to get a fascist org going is to call it anti-fascist first. The corporate chieftains and sports leagues who so rapidly dove into the BLM's fetid reservoir and littered the wokesters with lucre made unbelievably stupid decisions and associations. Stockholders should take note at next meeting and unload these virtue signaling corporate vermin. They are cowards who got themselves rolled by a league of cons and a political press that now lies without compunction, putting the finishing touches on the Narrative. FTA: "[Hume's] ideas certainly resonated with the survivors of the French Terror who saw in his writing a warning of what catastrophe self appointed certitude could bring." The Left is full of certitude today. And death. The guillotine as a physical symbol--not as a metaphor--has reappeared at some Antifa/BLM rallies.

So one of the protean individuals of modern philosophy who wrote Enquiries concerning Human Understanding (1748) and concerning the Principles of Morals (1751) is replaced by a junkie crook who threatened pregnant women, in Scotland of all places, home of so many thinkers of the Enlightenment who gave us the principles and modes of thought that enabled us to create western civilization out of the dark ages. Hat tip to you affholes.

Once you cave in to the mob of arsonists, looters, assaulters, and cop killers, you'll forever be caving in to them. Start arresting, prosecuting, and giving them serious jail time in the worst prison possible and put a stop to it. If that doesn't work, then start hosing them down using the soviet style that they love so much.

On Monday, Democratic nominee Joe Biden condemned President Donald Trump as a “climate arsonist,” predicting that if the president wins reelection in November, America will witness more “hellish” events like fires in the West, flooding in the Midwest, and hurricanes on the East Coast. He effectively promised that if he wins, America will suffer from fewer fires, fewer floods, and fewer hurricanes. Although Biden excoriated Trump for “ignoring the facts” and “denying reality,” he focused his remarks on the wildfires ravaging California, Oregon, and Washington State — fires exacerbated by bad forest management more than any sort of climate change. “If you give a climate arsonist four more years

During an interview with Mobile, AL radio’s FM Talk 106.5, Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL), the chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee, argued that Republicans regaining control of the House of Representatives was not as far-fetched as some political watchers in the media say it is. According to Palmer, there are more than three times as many Democrat seats that are competitive as Republican seats in the House. “I think we can regain the House, and I think the President is convinced of that, as well,” he said. “We only need to win 19 seats to regain the majority.

As violent and destructive antifa and Black Lives Matter riots continue to ravage American cities like Portland and Kenosha, a self-described communist who plotted to blow up the U.S. Capitol in the 1970s suggested that America’s second Civil War has already started. “Am I the only one, or do you feel eerily that we’re living in Kansas, 1859, and that tensions are boiling over, but only years later will people say, ‘Yes, the Civil War began there and then?'” Ayers posted on Facebook. He posted the same statement on his website, BillAyers.org. Ayers, who co-founded the Weather Underground in 1969, took part in the bombings of the New

For months now, it’s been clear that Joe Biden has been using a teleprompter for supposedly off-the-cuff campaign interviews and conversations. In April, when Bernie endorsed Joe Biden, they had a live stream conversation on Periscope where it was clear Biden was reading off a script. Since then there’s been a lot more evidence of Biden reading off a teleprompter, and rather poorly, even during interviews with the media. While appearing on Fox News on Thursday, Biden’s national press secretary, TJ Ducklo, had an opportunity to go on the record on this issue but refused. “Does Joe Biden ever use a teleprompter during local interviews or to answer Q&A with supporters?” Baier asked.

As has been pointed out by many of us recently, the Democrats really aren’t behaving as if their presidential candidate had a substantial lead in the polls. Yes, the polls have been tightening, but the Dems have been in a sort of flop-sweat panic mode since the Republican National Convention ended. There is, of course, the fact that every public appearance by der Bidengaffer since then has been hovering in the neighborhood of “unmitigated disaster.” The Democrats do seem to be trying to get to their October surprises early this year. That reeks of desperation. Speaking of reeking, California’s little impeachment pitbull Adam Schiff is back.

Years ago when institutions had more credibility skepticism was met with the phrase “Would your government lie to you?” Afterward when the 60s established that Uncle Sam told fibs the Watergate generation found a new source of truth: “Would the media lie to you?” Events since, from the Dan Rather document fiasco to the scandalous off-and-on-again prohibitions on public rallies, have convinced many the media is no better than the US government at telling the truth. “You can’t say, ‘Listen to the science and keep your churches at 25 percent occupancy and socially distance your choir singers,’ and then say,

I wanted to trust Dr. Anthony Fauci. I really did. Early in the pandemic, I took the advice of Dr. Drew Pinsky and listened to what he said. Maybe I listened too closely. Lockdowns leave a person a lot of free time, and a Google machine and keyboard are an excellent way to pass the time. This week on a Department of Health and Human Services podcast, Dr. Fauci made the following comment: “One of the problems we face in the United States is that unfortunately, there is a combination of an anti-science bias that people are — for reasons that sometimes are …

Are mass delusions possible? I didn’t use to think so, but every now and then I’m reminded of the fact that there are thousands of people who think Barack Obama wasn’t just a good president, but a great president, who magically fixed the economy and went two full terms without a single scandal. On Sunday, countless liberals took to Twitter, declaring #ObamaDayJune14th, that it’s #ObamaAppreciationDay and that Obama was #BestPresidentEver. Why? Because June 14 is President Trump’s birthday! How clever! And these trending hashtags accompanied thousands of unironic tweets expressing nostalgia for the Obama years and appreciation for Obama, their lord and savior. What exactly are they nostalgic for? Beats me.

When statues are toppled it’s because the topplers are making room for their own monuments. Every revolution is driven not only by the desire to tear down but also to replace the old world with the new. ‘Defunding the police,’ we are now told, does not mean defunding the police, but shifting the money to a new public safety agency, which will almost certainly lead to a politicized if not a political police. Even banning Gone with the Wind is preparatory to more. No political movement ever bans just one book. That coming new world will be inconceivably different from anything familiar. It has to be

Has the 19th-century German composer Ludwig van Beethoven become a modern symbol of "exclusion and elitism" for rich, white men? In an article published by Vox on Tuesday that quoted New York Philharmonic clarinetist Anthony McGill, writers Nate Sloan and Charlie Harding argued that the work has been propped up by white, wealthy men, whose embrace of the musical composition stood as a symbol of "their superiority and importance." "For others — women, LGBTQ+ people, people of color — Beethoven’s symphony is predominantly a reminder of classical music’s history of exclusion and elitism," Sloan and Harding wrote.
