Famed reporter Bob Woodward is dropping his new book about President Trump, Rage, next week. Woodward has already leaked the book’s juiciest excerpts to the media, such as the the President telling him during an interview on March 19 that he wanted to ‘play down’ the severity of the coronavirus in order to avoid a panic among the American people. This comment has led Trump’s critics to call for his resignation or for him to be impeached a second time.
Rage, however, is perhaps more revelatory about its author than its subject. Let’s assume that the critics are right, and that Trump’s decision
20 million Americans were projected to die from COVID19 . That is NOT downplaying the severity of the pandemic. That was enough fear to shut down businesses. Am I mis-remembering? If anyone downplayed the disease it was people like diBlasio who told NYers to keep on with life as normal. It was people like Pelosi who called the President a racist/xenophobe for wanting to suspend travel of people from China, the epicenter of the "Wuhan virus" which what the Chinese on the street, in fact, dubbed C19. Woodward has been full of himself since 1972.

Bob Woodward has been Trumped. Just as PDT trolls Twitter, he just trolled a whole book. One by one Trump is picking off the Left's icons. By November 3rd the Democrat's political landscape will be as charred as California's forests.

Bottomline, no one really cares what crap is in this book. The democrats have thrown everything at us for the last four years that we are numb. No one cares!

I guess Bob has to make money on his dirty books the old fashioned way. He can't write books nobody buys and still get paid mega millions like the professional thieves the clintons, obamas, etc. He has to use hype. Woodward is as fake as he was from day one.

Even if I believed this which I don't, Bob Woodward is trying to sell a book just like John Bolton. And we know how that ended. Democrats were forcing President Donald Trump into several situations and now they want to criticize him.
Donald Trump took the virus seriously by issuing a travel ban. Democrats including Joe Biden were calling him racist and xenophobic. They went so far as to put together a bill to stop it. Just think if everyone had taken Trump seriously in January, we could have taken steps in the infancy of the virus. When you wait a few months, of course, you will be concerned about people panicking. Governors could have acted promptly by notifying hospitals, doctors, and nursing homes.
Bob Woodward can go pound sand. He, along with Joe Biden and the Democrats, are desperate. They will SAY or DO anything to rip this President apart.

Trump's critics call for his resignation and/or impeachment every time he steps out into the Rose Garden. May Woodward's juvenile piece of democrat propaganda join the books of the Obamas and those of the fat lady from Chappaqua on the bottom shelf of the bargain section at Wal Mart.

If demonrats hadn’t been so consumed by their fraudulent impeachment, they might have noticed the virus. Please tell me how PDT was downplaying the virus and keeping the truth from us when he was holding 2 hour press conferences with “experts” answering questions and giving reports EVERY DAY for weeks on end?

Which one was Bob Woodward, Dustin Hoffman or Robert Redford because old Bob thinks he's still riding the wave.
What a joke.
The President addressed this correctly. You don't tell the population if you catch the virus you will die. That's like paratroopers deep behind enemy lines that become surrounded. The commander doesn't tell his troops they're all going to die. He tells his men we have the enemy right where we want them fire in all directions.
President Trump is a leader it's the same act that President Bush did on 9-11-01 in that second grade class room. He didn't want to scare the children or teachers at the moment but the media did accuse him of being confused.

Woodward got a taste of power after he and the WaPoo committed treason by soft coup against Nixon. Hard to give that up, and he has dined out on it ever since. None of his books have been truthful, most are exercises in the worst kind of deceit.

Woodward and Bernstein turned a minor scandal into a forest fire. I think it was all nonsense perpetuated by the slimy corrupt swamp.

To add to #13
At the battle of the Bulge in WWII - regarding surrender General McAuliffe's reply was brief and succinct:
“To the German Commander:
N U T S !
The American Commander”

Add to poster #1. Don't forget Pelosi going to China Town to proclaim "everything's fine here. No reason to be scared," paraphrased of course. https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/nancy-pelosi-visits-san-franciscos-chinatown/2240247/

The question was "Do you have any sense that (white) privilege has isolated and put you in a cave to a certain extent ...?". Trump's answer is "No, I don’t feel that at all."
Trump never said he "he has ‘no responsibility’ to ‘understand the pain of Black Americans’", simply that he doesn't feel isolated from understanding them.
And BTW, understanding some Blacks doesn't mean you have to agree with them. Some Blacks think they are entitled to reparations or special treatment. Sorry, no. My family came from Germany and Poland after slavery was abolished. My grandfathers were a coal delivery man and a farmer, hardly "privileged" positions. My dad was a tool and die worker. I had to work for most of what I have. Opportunities today are reasonably equal for everyone IF IF IF you take advantage of them. If you can't be bothered to get an education, life won't be easy for you. If you don't have a good work ethic, good jobs will be hard to find. These rules apply to EVERYONE.
Also, the most destruction to Blacks has been the "help" the dems have given them.

Woodward is a creative writer. He creates interviews, and then writes books about them. His book should be in the fantasy section.
He is not a journalist, nor was he ever a journalist.
He is a fabulist.

Woodward, go away you haggard impotent crusty Lefty boomer. Still stuck in the 60s, are we? Still thinking we are as gullible as we were then? Still thinking your kind was the be all end all of history and that we will remember you first in what happened?
Oh we will remember you, don’t worry.
We’ll remember...

"What the hell happened to Bob Woodward?"
Well.....Nothing, except that he has gotten old.
As several L-dotters have pointed out, he was a vicious liar when Richard Nixon was President, and he is a vicious liar now.
I think President Trump was given some bad advice to let this snake onto the White House property, much less sit for several interviews.
