GOP Rep. Palmer: Republicans Have

During an interview with Mobile, AL radio’s FM Talk 106.5, Rep. Gary Palmer (R-AL), the chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee, argued that Republicans regaining control of the House of Representatives was not as far-fetched as some political watchers in the media say it is. According to Palmer, there are more than three times as many Democrat seats that are competitive as Republican seats in the House. “I think we can regain the House, and I think the President is convinced of that, as well,” he said. “We only need to win 19 seats to regain the majority.

Comments:

We're starting to see the groundswell building as the Democrats act badly, the mainstream media lie demonically, and the street people threaten to burn us out. If it ends badly for anyone other than the dedicated enemies of civilization above, a state of war has existed.

If the Democrats retain their majority in the House President Trump will be harassed by the Democrats for another four years. The Republicans better understand this and act accordingly. Of course the Republicans must keep control of the Senate. If the Dems get control of the Senate it will be very unlikely that Trump will be able to get any member on his Supreme Court short confirmed. It seems there is far too little national news reporting regarding the House and Senate races.

#3 if the Communists get the Senate, Supreme Court confirmations will be the least of our worries. They’ll oust PDJT in a day. Vote straight R all the way. (For those of you in South Carolina, hold your nose and vote for Stay Tuned Lindsey.)

Let's hope it is true. Holding onto to the Senate majority is more problematic though.

If in January the republicans do manage to take control of the White House, House of Representatives and the Senate, they cannot waste the opportunity like they did when Paul Ryan was the Speaker. They need to enthusiastically promote the Trump agenda. This means legislation to require voter ID for all federal elections, limiting voting to US citizens, establishing extensive penalties for voter fraud, finishing the wall. Immigration reform, ending funding of public radio and TV, and stop funding anti-American indoctrination in education. Make any illegal act during a "peaceful demonstration" a federal offense with at least five years of federal prison time. That would be a good first year agenda for Trump. Then, on to year 2.

Cannot imagine anyone going to the polls, voting for Trump then voting for a down ballot Rat. If there is a landslide in the house and senate for Republicans there is no way to question the election of President Trump.

If the GOP retains control of the Senate and gains control of the House, it will only be because of coattails associated with a landslide Trump victory -- not because the Republicans in Congress have done any kind of a bang-up job fighting for the conservative agenda.

Taking the House would be nice, but keeping the Senate is imperative.

As violent and destructive antifa and Black Lives Matter riots continue to ravage American cities like Portland and Kenosha, a self-described communist who plotted to blow up the U.S. Capitol in the 1970s suggested that America’s second Civil War has already started. “Am I the only one, or do you feel eerily that we’re living in Kansas, 1859, and that tensions are boiling over, but only years later will people say, ‘Yes, the Civil War began there and then?'” Ayers posted on Facebook. He posted the same statement on his website, BillAyers.org. Ayers, who co-founded the Weather Underground in 1969, took part in the bombings of the New

For months now, it’s been clear that Joe Biden has been using a teleprompter for supposedly off-the-cuff campaign interviews and conversations. In April, when Bernie endorsed Joe Biden, they had a live stream conversation on Periscope where it was clear Biden was reading off a script. Since then there’s been a lot more evidence of Biden reading off a teleprompter, and rather poorly, even during interviews with the media. While appearing on Fox News on Thursday, Biden’s national press secretary, TJ Ducklo, had an opportunity to go on the record on this issue but refused. “Does Joe Biden ever use a teleprompter during local interviews or to answer Q&A with supporters?” Baier asked.

As has been pointed out by many of us recently, the Democrats really aren’t behaving as if their presidential candidate had a substantial lead in the polls. Yes, the polls have been tightening, but the Dems have been in a sort of flop-sweat panic mode since the Republican National Convention ended. There is, of course, the fact that every public appearance by der Bidengaffer since then has been hovering in the neighborhood of “unmitigated disaster.” The Democrats do seem to be trying to get to their October surprises early this year. That reeks of desperation. Speaking of reeking, California’s little impeachment pitbull Adam Schiff is back.

Years ago when institutions had more credibility skepticism was met with the phrase “Would your government lie to you?” Afterward when the 60s established that Uncle Sam told fibs the Watergate generation found a new source of truth: “Would the media lie to you?” Events since, from the Dan Rather document fiasco to the scandalous off-and-on-again prohibitions on public rallies, have convinced many the media is no better than the US government at telling the truth. “You can’t say, ‘Listen to the science and keep your churches at 25 percent occupancy and socially distance your choir singers,’ and then say,

Are mass delusions possible? I didn’t use to think so, but every now and then I’m reminded of the fact that there are thousands of people who think Barack Obama wasn’t just a good president, but a great president, who magically fixed the economy and went two full terms without a single scandal. On Sunday, countless liberals took to Twitter, declaring #ObamaDayJune14th, that it’s #ObamaAppreciationDay and that Obama was #BestPresidentEver. Why? Because June 14 is President Trump’s birthday! How clever! And these trending hashtags accompanied thousands of unironic tweets expressing nostalgia for the Obama years and appreciation for Obama, their lord and savior. What exactly are they nostalgic for? Beats me.

When statues are toppled it’s because the topplers are making room for their own monuments. Every revolution is driven not only by the desire to tear down but also to replace the old world with the new. ‘Defunding the police,’ we are now told, does not mean defunding the police, but shifting the money to a new public safety agency, which will almost certainly lead to a politicized if not a political police. Even banning Gone with the Wind is preparatory to more. No political movement ever bans just one book. That coming new world will be inconceivably different from anything familiar. It has to be

William Shakespeare famously observed that “all the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” One of these players, Joe Biden, is currently trying out for the biggest role of his life. Unfortunately, he’s in danger of bombing the audition. He’s flubbing lines, breaking character, and occasionally forgetting the plot. His rambling, often incoherent speech in front of a supportive audience at a church in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on September 3 shows that he’s no longer playing the role of viable presidential candidate. Instead, he’s stumbled into the last scene of Shakespeare’s “strange, eventful history” — “second childishness and mere oblivion.”

I woke up in the morning wondering about the dark red rays coming from behind the curtain. While I expected the darkened sky, the degree of darkness and the fact that I couldn’t smell fire surprised me. Northern California fires have become increasingly common over the last decade as a consequence of mismanaging the environment. Native Americans staged controlled burns to safeguard their villages and create favorable hunting conditions. We failed to emulate that practice, and, as even Mother Jones concedes, so much fuel accumulated in the wilderness that megafires began burning year after year.
