I don't want to vote for Donald Trump. I wrote in another candidate in 2016. But here's what I do want to vote for.
I want to vote for the American flag. Comrades of mine, black and white, died for that flag. I stopped watching the NFL four years ago, and now I've stopped watching all pro sports because of the disrespect. The Democrats do not condemn flag-burners.
I want to vote to defend the police. Yes, there are bad cops. But there are bad people in every category or profession. Even bad Marines.

Agree OP.
Except I skimmed the article. The author seems too cute by half. Or even a third.
Not sure what his point was. But he got published, so there’s that.

He listed every good reason to vote for Trump. Fine with me if he needs to fuss a little.

I'll be voting for our great President Trump, in California, after crawling over broken glass and dirty hypodermic needles, and I'll have a smile on my face the entire time.

This is a really weird article. Trump has delivered everything that the author has said he wants. Trump didn't have to. However, he ran exactly because he did not believe that neither the dems or the Republicans would deliver these things. He wanted these things for the same reason as the author, they are good things, they are American things.
So, if Trump sees the goodness, the greatness of America, and is working for us to get these things and succeeding against enormous resistance from the dems, media, Left, Deep State, Never Trumpers, and the status quo, doesn't that make him a good person, an ally, and a friend? WHY would you not want to vote to support such a candidate?
I might understand some uncertainty in 2016. Trump was untested. He was saying a lot of good words but what would he really do? Well, he did what he said he would do. That is also the mark of a good person, a trustworthy person. So again, WHY wouldn't you be happy to cast your vote for Trump in 2020.
The Republican Convention had a string of testimonies of how Trump has reached out to individuals, listened to them, respected them, and acted boldly for them. Some of them seemed amazed that a Republican president, a wealthy man would take the time to listen to them and act in their behalf. We know many politicians who are completely clueless about the American People they represent. Yet, Trump was THERE for these people and made life changing decisions for them. This is the mark of a compassionate and wise person who cares deeply about Americans as a group and as individuals. Isn't this someone who you would be honored to cast a vote for?
I'm not so foolish to cast away votes of those who seem befuddled about their purpose. Such voters have the potential to turn a victory into a landslide that can overcome all the dem hijinks. So welcome aboard and it's great that we will be able to share our common vision of a exceptional America, Trump's vision as well. I hope you can look past what troubles you about your vote and give some credit to Trump for his goodness as well as his presidency.

I never found out why he didn't want to vote for Trump, but had to. No one, not even my lost cause 48 yr. old daughter, has told me what he's done, to the average person on the street, that causes so much hate for the man. He's kept his promises, which no other politician in recent history has. He had a life before the Presidency, that any red blooded American man, not the sissy boys of today, would have loved. He tapped some great looking women and is married to a super model. All this was before he decided to run for president. We keep hearing that what all these sleazy democrats did and still do, is nobodys business. Clinton and the dems senile candidate have much worse records with their treatment of women. The #metoo women from Hollywood, who slept their way into the movies hate him, but are OK with a VP candidate who has slept her way to prominence. Until he ran as a Republican that loves this country, he was the toast of the town. No one can tell me what changed, unless it was the fact that he beat the worst political candidate in history. He's done more for the average American than any democrat in recent history, and surely more than Cankles, 0bie or Quid Pro Joe did or will do for them. He was never hateful of the media, until they became rabid haters, and still are, for no discernable reason. So I wish Robert Hall would have told us why he wouldn't want to vote for him.

Interesting article. He wants Black Lives to Matter by increasing the number of police to prevent them from being murdered by blacks to whom no lives matter. The most moral POTUS we've had in my life time was Jimmy Carter who was pathetic. PT can do stuff and shows up for work. Hiden Biden has spent more time in a cellar than Norman Bates' mother.

Don't vote for President Trump unless you like and admire him. Keep your integrity and write in Romney as he is probably more your choice. We won't need your Karen vote.

He makes a good list. Coming from the liberal paradise of MASS, he is as Revolutionary today as the Minutemen of old. There are LOTS of people like him who did not believe Trump could become the President Trump he is. Good for them for seeing the light and shame on the RINO right and the 'objective' media for fighting Donald Trump from the moment he won the nomination.

I'm voting for the man who created the best economy in my lifetime. The man who has REALLY started closing down the borders and deporting illegals. The man who has pulled us out of useless wars. The man who LOVES THIS COUNTRY and wants the average American to be more free and more financially well off than he or she was.
THAT is why I am voting for President Trump.
