‘Wild Goose Chases’: Strzok Says Steele Dossier
Was ‘A Problem’ For The Trump-Russia Probe

Former FBI official Peter Strzok said in an interview published Friday that the Steele dossier was a “problem” for the Trump-Russia probe because it sent investigators off “on a series of wild goose chases.” “The report was very typical of information that the FBI often receives. It comes from several sources, including some suspect sources. Some of it is bullshit, and some of it is rumor, and some of it is disinformation,” Strzok told The Atlantic. “From our perspective,” Strzok said of the dossier, “some of it was a distraction.” Strzok’s comments mark one of the strongest public critiques to date from an FBI official regarding the dossier,

“So some people have sought to use the weaknesses of the Steele reporting to try and cast aspersions against the entirety of the FBI’s massive investigation. These efforts have been very disingenuous, very distorting, and very successful" Then goes on to explain how he knew the info was bogus but used it as a pretext to bully his way into interviews. Meanwhile he treated the FBI office like Love Boat and with all this, the public has the audacity to wonder why we even have an FBI. Amazing person.

When Nancy Pelosi sneaked into a San Francisco salon maskless for an illegal coiffing, it turns out that her actions reflected those of her fellow citizens across the country. We refer not to the illegality of her actions — most people feel bound by and obey local laws — but to the fact that members of the public, like the speaker, refused to submit to perpetual lockdown. Instead, regardless of how their state or local governments reacted to the second surge of coronavirus cases, people spent the month of August reopening and getting back to work. In the end, 1.4 million more people

So, Nancy Pelosi is having the Bad Hair Day from Hell right now, because she was set up by a cabal of Trump-supporting hairdressers in . . . (checks notes) . . . San Francisco? That sounds about as implausible as CNN reporting a story accurately, or a liberal Democrat telling the truth about President Trump. Meanwhile, a Kennedy actually lost an election in Massachusetts, showing that Trump really is making America great again.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci, along with his agency colleague, the epidemiologist David Morens, warned in a report in the science journal Cell that if humans don’t make significant changes in all activities, that more diseases — more terrible health issues like COVID-19 — will soon come. Beware this report. It’s a globalist dream come true, a real treatise for elites to control nearly every facet of human activity, human life, human freedoms. Think that’s hyperbole? Read on. It’s called “Emerging Pandemic Diseases: How We Got to COVID-19,” and it’s presented as a scientific look at why we’re where we are today

One reason for the surging, often protracted violence in US cities is the rise of a host of progressive prosecutors who actually tilt against law and order. The trend is most glaring in places known for their kooky left-wing politics, like Portland and San Francisco, but extreme leftists have also taken over as district attorneys in cities like Chicago and Boston. Many owe big thanks for their elections to funding from far-left fatcat George Soros. In Portland, violent “protests” have dragged on for months, thanks to the idiocy of Mayor Ted Wheeler, who let hoodlums drive him out of his own condo —

Most popes urge austerity as a means of saving one’s soul. Pope Francis urges it for a different reason: to save the planet. In keeping with that temporal focus, he called this last week for humans to adopt “simpler” lifestyles not for reasons of spirituality but out of “respect” for the earth: We also need once more to listen to the land itself, which Scripture calls adamah, the soil from which man, Adam, was made. Today we hear the voice of creation admonishing us to return to our rightful place in the natural created order—-

Team Biden is spending some of their record-setting August haul of campaign cash on developing and deploying a news series of campaign advertisements for both television and the web. But not all of these efforts are producing high-quality results. One recent example is their advertisement about Social Security and how the Bad Orange Man plans to wipe out the security net in less than three years. If that sounds outlandish to you, that’s because it is. But they’re running the ad anyway. Here it is, just in case you haven’t seen it.

Authentic won the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., Saturday evening. The victorious horse gave trainer hall of famer Bob Baffert his sixth career Derby victory. Tiz the Law was the favorite to win the 146th running of the Derby, but came in a close second. He drew the No. 17 post and was looking to become the first horse to ever win from that post. Tiz the Law won the Belmont Stakes, which fell a bit under the radar this year because of the pandemic. According to Horse Betting, Tiz the Law was the 4-5 favorite to win the race.

At least three Molotov cocktails were tossed in the direction of Portland, Ore., police late Saturday, prompting yet another night of unrest in the city to be declared a riot, according to reports. Video posted on social media showed people scattering after a fiery object hurtled through the air and crashed on the ground, resulting in a huge fireball and smoke. In another video, a rioter is seen scrambling for help after his feet catch fire while trying to escape flames. Late Saturday local time, police posted on Twitter that the crowd near Ventura Park – about 10 miles east of downtown -- was “engaging in tumultuous and violent

Is Democrats’ Biden bubble strategy about to burst? By keeping Biden away from the public, Democrats have compressed the race into a two-month sprint with no margin for error. Like Aesop’s fable about the tortoise and the hare, Democrats may find Biden has waited too late to run. The presidential race is unmistakably closing. On September 1, Real Clear Politics’ average of national polling had Biden lead at 6.2 percent (49.6 percent to 43.4 percent); that is down from a 9.4 percent lead on July 1. In the determinative battleground states, Biden’s lead was just 2.7 percent (48 percent to 45.3 percent),

The beginning of college football season also marked the return of ESPN’s “College GameDay” to the airwaves on Saturday. Though the crew wasn’t together on campus for a high-profile Week 1 game somewhere, it was a welcome sight for college football fans after a long, winding offseason. It was a discussion that saw Kirk Herbstreit overcome with emotion. Watch this: (Tweet) In recent weeks, college football

Either the virus is going to wane. If it wanes by November, Trump will be elected.

On Friday, the Trump campaign released a brutal ad savaging House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for getting a hair blow out at a salon in San Francisco without a wearing a mask and then having the audacity to claim she fell victim to a “set up” after getting caught. Throughout the two-minute ad, Nancy Pelosi is constantly referred to as “Nancy Antoinette,” a reference to the French queen Marie Antoinette, who has (though falsely) been characterized throughout history as a superficial elitist that cared little for the people. “Let them eat cake,” she apocryphally said. Interspersed throughout are video and audio clips of Pelosi advising people to wear masks

The Biden campaign promoted what is being called a “dangerous conspiracy theory” about a potential coronavirus vaccine on Saturday, suggesting that the vaccine may not be safe due to it being rushed for political reasons ahead of the November elections. Speaking to CNN’s Dana Bash, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the vice presidential running mate of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, claimed that Trump may muzzle scientific experts and that the president was acting out of desperation. “Do you trust that in the situation that we’re in now that public health experts and scientists will get the last word on the efficacy of a vaccine?” Bash asked.
